Neighborhood spot. Needs a good revamp, but if you can get over the look of the antiquated store, you will surely like the mom and pop feel. Owned by a super nice older Asian couple — they will make you a great variety of food — very quickly. I ordered shrimp fired rice, a philly cheese, an all beef hot dog, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a grilled cheese for the household last time I stopped in(usually after a Kaiser appt or running other errands). Everything was great and we scarfed it all down at home(save for the hot dog which didn’t make it home). We will go back to give this place more of our business. I keep trying to convince the nurses at Kaiser that the food is really good — the guys that work there know what’s up as I see them there all the time.

Evven it’s not a five star place. But the food make up for the stars. I enjoy the breakfast sandwich like the sausage egg and cheese croissant. The sausage has that… can’t say. Cheese love cheese. Shrimp won tone so good. And there more. Miss match furnisher. Grocery store they sell last min items. Large stock on beer and Mad Dog 20⁄20 with there flavor but not what I want to buy. Also it near by Kaiser Permanente help if you what to get a quick bit. Even all the place to eat at. If i’m in that area. I looking forward in eating hear again.

A charming neighborhood place serving up a somewhat wildly inconsistent menu(but I love that!). They’ve got different bits of odds and ends scattered through out the store(asian noodles, viet rice wraps, bread, snacks, drinks, etc). If you’re looking for some kind of Harris Teeter/Whole Foods store, stay away. My bf and I ordered the steak and eggs croissant and the breakfast platter and the food was simple but very delicious, reminds me of home cooked food(portions were huge). The Vietnamese iced coffee was also delicious. A lady was in there before us and she seemed to be a regular there and chatted with the gentleman before leaving in a cheery mood. Next a war vet(plates) came in and the gentleman helped take all his stuff to the car. And as we finished wolfing down our breakfast a couple came in and ordered phở and something else. Very cute neighborhood place. Definitely coming back.

If before today, you’d asked me to describe the smell of a trans fat, I probably wouldn’t have been able to, but having stopped in at Seven Stars for a quick emergency breakfast, I am now enlightened. Jokes aside, this store feels like it would’ve been outdated in 1985, and I don’t doubt that some of its dust bunnies have been around as long. They’ve got a varied menu of food that they prepare on a grill that you can’t see, but if the quality of my grilled cheese and bagel were any indication of how good the rest of the menu is, you’ll probably be a happy customer. I’m not sure if there’s any consistency in pricing, because some kitchen items aren’t listed anywhere, and other items for sale are often without labels, but here’s what I had, and what I paid. 1 One-Liter Evian($ 3.50?) 1 Bai juice($ 3.50?) 1 Bagel with cream cheese($ 3.00?) 1 Grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and tomato($ 8.00?) Total: $ 18 The prices in parentheses are guesses… I thought the total bill was slightly on the high side(I pulled out $ 15 in anticipation of being right around the mark), so I’ll probably ask for a receipt next time.

This place is a total hidden gem. From the outside it seems like your average convenience store, but when you enter you find the wall of food. Run by a husband & wife team for God knows how long, she run the register and he’s in the kitchen whipping up anything your heart desires: breakfast(at all hours of the day), subs, burgers, to Pad Thai, Lo Mein and AMAZING Phở. You can go beyond the menu and he’ll make you pretty much everything you want that he has the ingredients for, all in short time.
