I enjoy the food but not the wait. I was the only person in the place and it took 23 minutes to get my food. Granted it was lamb and it was good lamb. But still, it just takes too long for this place to join the lunch time rotation given the heavy competition in the area. Pros: Quality meats. Good chick peas. Good spicey sauce(ask for it) Cons: Wait. Price. Overall: Meh

The sign above this restaurant now reads«Z Kabob». It used to read«Rawal Kabob», and before that it was called«Mogul Kabob». Not sure why all the name changes. Either way it’s still the same owner. Menu and price point hasn’t really changed. Before ordering, I knew it would be long, but the wait time is total horse crap. 20 minutes to prepare a beef kabob sandwich? Really? 20 minutes to sit there waiting for lunch is soooooo not the way I want to spend my lunch hour, especially in a seat-yourself food establishment. My suggestion to the owner is to walk next door to Subways and ask them for tips on how to prepare sandwiches in 2 minutes. Most of the kabob meat in my sandwich was TOUGH… not quite«beef jerky» tough but pretty close to it. My guess is they use some pretty cheap cuts of meat… but for $ 5.99 what else would I expect. Seriously…the wait time really kills this place.
