My family has been part of the Point of View family for so long I cannot remember how many years — more than a decade. Dr. Ellis performs our eye exams and continuity over the years has been a REALLY good thing. Bill and his staff have picked perfect frames — sometimes even virtually(we are foreign service) — and delivered a finished product quickly and always with high quality. If something wasn’t right, they fixed it. When we broke things, they fixed them. As noted on their website, they ship(and we have needed them to). There is the saying, «you get what you pay for.» In my younger years I picked less reputable shops to purchase glasses. Now that I don’t have to, I don’t. I won’t.

My family has purchased our eyeglasses from Point of View for 30 years. Expensive but they provide a very good product and stand behind their work. Honest good people.

While the service people are not that friendly(rather curt), Dr. Ellis is very good and friendly to adults and kids. He always fits us in quickly and I believe is very knowledgeable about eye and eye care.

My little 5 year old needed glasses and Point of View came highly recommended. One caveat they do not take insurance, oh okay. I’ll just submit on my own. I have to say I’m not impressed with them at all, the service is short and they are not all the friendly, you would think that a place that caters exclusively to paying customers and by paying I mean my child needed glasses 1 pair cost $ 400 out of pocket. I would expect better customer service chairs that are not broken where when one sits on them they don’t fall off and hurt themselves. I will not go back to get glasses here. Too snobby and too expensive and too broken~
