Paisano’s Pizza

Delicious pizza and wings! Easy ordering online and the pizza came quickly. Highly recommend the margherita & buffalo wings.

Craving a pizza, I walked into Paisano’s and placed an order. Rachel, the cashier, was polite and friendly. I waited while the pizza cooked. After 20 minutes or so, the manager, I believe his name was Blake, asked what I ordered so that he could check on it.
He reported back a couple of minutes later that the employees had made the wrong pizza. He apologized, informed me that the right pizza was «already in the oven,» and a second pizza would be provided «on us.» In 5 – 10 minutes, I had 2 large pizzas, and the manager even offered to carry them to my car.
Good customer service is hard to come by, especially in retail, but I was very pleased with the way the situation was handled. They didn’t have to admit to the mistake. It took a lot of integrity to own up to the error and to reveal the real reason for the delay. After admitting to the mistake, they more than made up for it with a free pizza.
Yes, the pizza is more expensive than the big chain pizza restaurants, but I’ve never received fair and honest treatment like that from those big franchises. Every delivery driver that came and went spoke to me. The employees went above and beyond my expectations, and the pizza, not to mention the chicken tender platter, were both outstanding! I will definitely be eating at Paisano’s again.

Every time I have order from them is on time, hot and good. Better variety than Dominos or Pizza Hut. Their salads are great also.

There was a tiny bit of confusion at the onset of our order, but Seth, the regional sales manager was on the job. The delivery was flawless! We are happy to have Paisano’s as our Go-​to pizza delivery option in Arlington, Va. Thanks Seth! We’ve never experienced that level of dedication and support, makes it feel like the local pizza joint, and we love that!

Back to Dominos. The last three times they didn’t cook the crust thoroughly and the pizza tasted doughy, even though I specifically asked them to cook the crust thoroughly each time. I need to either move out of Falls Church City if I want to order pizza, or just stop eating pizza.
Update 1÷20÷15: Manger (owner?) emailed and asked to speak with me. While I didn’t reach out to her, I appreciated that they apologized for my frustrating experience, so decided to try them again last night. I ordered, as usual, requesting that the crust be well-​cooked, and they came through for me. The pizza was delicious and our whole family really appreciated it.
Update 6÷9÷15: Ordered once again a few months ago and requested cooked crust and they came through for me. Ordered again for delivery — will be here soon — and will update review. Really hoping Paisanos can stay reasonably consistent, as we’re in the neighborhood, love pizza, and really want to be able to have a go-​to.

i wish i could give zero stars. there is a dearth of decent pizza in falls church. one of the reliable stand-​bys used to be Paisano’s. alas. my last experience with them convinced me it is time to take them off my list. i had a coupon they had given me which, though it had no expiration date, they refused to honor. i cannot and will not give my business to a company so unethical. will go to flippin pizza or lost dog instead.

I wish, I wish I liked this place. Everything just seemed so normal. I’m a big fan of NY style pizza but this does not keep up. No problem, but at least give me some better flavor in the crust and cheese. I wish there were better options in the area, like Goody’s in Arlington.

This was my first legitimate pizzeria experience, but I only got delivery, but needless to say it was such a delicious pizza! I got the meat lovers pizza and was not disappointed at all. The next step will definitely be to stop in and dine there for the freshest pizza. I recommend this to anyone in the Falls Church area.

Fast delivery, convenient, decent pizza– better than fast food or chain stores, not as good as specialty pizza restaurants. We would try another pizza again.

I had seen the advertisements for Paisano’s and finally ordered one of their pizzas. Very easy to order and the pizza showed up in 20 minutes. The pizza looked great when I opened the box but wasn’t that good. The sauce was super sweet and the sausage had no flavor. They must get their pizza dough from the same supplier as Ledo’s. No taste at all. I doubt I will try it again.

For this price, this is an okay place to go. They are attentive and if you need to feed a group it is a much better option than going to a place where you pay $ 13 a person because they are having trouble covering rent.
But while I appreciate the speed and friendly customer service here, I would prefer to stay on hold for ten minutes and have the cook throw dough in my face if it meant better pizza. The main problem for me at least, is the sauce. It tastes as if they are putting every spice rather than spices, which is something I have done when cooking to mask other falvors. (Always make sure you put the oregano lid on tightly. I have failed to do this more than once.) The dough and cheese is all right but to me, pizza should be hard to stop eating.
If you do like being treated kindly (and they are both polite and quick) and aren’t as picky as me, this is a good deal. If you are just trying to stuff your face, I would say: go get a frozen pizza and use the money you save to get one from elsewhere next weekend.
Pros:
Fast — my pizza was done in ten minutes and I was on hold no more than five seconds.
The staff is friendly and wished me a good evening.
An good, inexpensive option for feeding a lot of people
Owner is responsive and friendly.
Cons:
Sauce is sub-​par. This shouldn’t be as noticable, but everyone tries to reinvent pizza.
Dough rack — a necessity for high-​volume — makes pizza feel less handmade.

So convenient and super fast delivery. I get it. I’m not getting a big greasy floppy cheesy piece of NY pizza here so I will just move on and get to the food I do like. The barbecue chicken pizza is good. I’m convinced it’s better in a medium but that’s OK — because I feel so much more dainty when I eat it all. I love the wings — and I’m not really a wing girl. I get half and half with the sauce and then mix it up and pour the hot sauce over. Just in case that was important to you. Great roast beef sub (I get mine as a hot sub). The fries suck. Sorry. Just plain out suck.

Not sure how this place doesn’t have a 5 star rating, best pizza in the NOVA area as far as I’m concerned. Although, I am convinced that the large tastes better than the medium which doesn’t really make sense.

I have zero self control when it comes to pizza from this place.

All I’ve ever had from Paisano’s is the pizza. I don’t want anything else. Just. Give. Me. The. Pizza.

My boyfriend and I order from here when we are craving a cheesesteak, it’s 9pm and we don’t feel like driving anywhere. The employees are so friendly and the service is fast when we come pick up food. Sad thing is we haven’t ate the pizza here yet! We usually get cheesesteaks, the hot wings, cheese fries or strombolis. All of these are delicious by the way, and never dissappoints! It’s always fresh and piping out. The prices are affordable and they give you a good portion of meat in the cheesesteak and stromboli. I don’t see how people say its bad! Maybe once I try the pizza I will update my review. But for now, this place gets the 4 stars they deserve!

Great pizza for delivery. It’s a small local chain, but still very good. A little expensive (reason for 4 stars), but we still choose it over the larger chain pizza stores. Would recommend to anyone looking for pizza delivery or carry out.
As a warning, salads aren’t great.

I am extremely disappointed in this location. In the past two months I’ve ordered from them 5 times (I love pizza) and just today I was told they no longer deliver to my area. I asked if their delivery area had changed and they said no. It had to do with a shift from a franchise to a corporate store.
This makes no sense to me. They are refusing my business (which is pretty regular) only because they changed the classification of the store. If they’re not fans of money then I’ll gladly give mine to another chain altogether.

a little expensive for a quick lunch spot considering the plethora of local options. If they had a lunch combo, I think that would make them a lot more competitive.
Had a Chicken Parm sub and for $ 7 was on the small side, with a scrawny slab of chicken and a little sauce and cheese thrown in for color and texture. Pretty much meh.
