The store is somewhat nice and neat. Somewhat clean depending on what you have as the definition. Overall the store is just terrible. I used to shop here for many years, but something has just drove this store down. The aisles are crowded with employees stocking during mid day and rush times, and don’t care if you need to get by. There is water that is all over the store floor without the care of having to clean it up. Many of their products is not so fresh, and they have a limited selection of product now. Their store used to be fresh and appealing. Maybe its time to go back a bit to the drawing board.

This use to be the ‘nearby’ asian store I take my granny for Chinese herbs etc. Now that Good Fortune opened next door… I don’t even go here anymore. Recently I did go back for Chinese New Year’s, it’s about the same… no improvements for the past 10+ years. It’s not a really big store… I would compare it to an asian 7 – 11. They are running on a limited menu… not to mention since they are a small store, their items are a tad bit over priced compared to getting it at a legit asian supermarket. They close early too. I think around 8pm so your better off just walking few stores down to Good Fortune.

If you are interested in North and Southeast Asian cookery, or are interested in buying Asian grocery items, a visit to the Eden Supermarket is a must. It has just about all of the staples a culinary enthusiast needs. Since the Eden Supermarket is one of the many stores in the always-busy Eden Center, parking for motor vehicles is at a premium, particularly on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Plan your visit in the early morning or evening.

Limited selection of stuff… but the only Asian market located I’m this area… so better then nothing right? Since I’m born and raised in NYC Im so use to food shopping at Chinatown and eighth avenue… which has the most affordable and convent groceries… coming here is like a whole different experience for me… Not convent at all… lack different types of Asian veggies… and everything seems so over priced compared to the supermarkets in NYC… I have no idea why this smelly little mini Asian grocery store selling over priced products… maybe cause there’s only selected stores/markets that sells certain stuff. so they over priced it… either way… Now I know there’s an asain market here… Will I food shop here in the future … Who knows…

I don’t like playing chicken while shopping. The dudes restocking the shelves went full speed with their carts expecting that you will get out to the way and didn’t even have the courtesy to say«excuse me» or «look out» or «con permiso.» Then they chat a few feet away after bowling you over as though they are the most important folks in the world. The checkout folks are really rude and sullen. When there are 3 clerks doing nothing at registers with no one else in the store, one of them should acknowledge you exist. Hey, I’m trying to give you money! And no, it’s no cheap. I’ll buy my Asian food at Trader Joes and get duck fresh at a Chinese restaurant.

If you are information some Vietnamese food, this is a place to swing by when you are in Virginia. The jackfruit must be in season as it was fragrant and sweet taking. We also bought mints that was hard to find in New York. It is also cheaper here too. Definitely a place to explore and eat. You will not be disappointed. Check out the feedback on the restaurant. Bring cash as most places do not accept credit card.

Let’s stick to the bare bones: First off, this place is packed with yummy Asian imports in the aisles and freezers. Moreover, there’s a wide selection of produce(including some tough to find stuff) and it’s all seemingly fresh. There’s also a carryout section that offers everything form whole ducks to pork plates. Finally, everything is cheap! What could be better?

Awesome mini supermarket filled with Chinese/vietnamese foods. Have good selection of veggies, rice, smaller selection of snacks. Lots of sauce selection and frozen foods. They also sell duck here, one day i’m going to try. They accept cards over $ 10 min. I’m glad they have a supermarket at eden center.
