Cheri Nails

This is place is horrible. The only person who is decent is the owner. I’ve made the mistake of going their a few times because it is convenient for me but I have been extremely disappointed every time. They always do a HORRIBLE job. When I got a wax, she burned me leaving me in pain for a few days. When I get my nails done, she missed the corners and didn’t even buff them, leaving them looking like a six year old did it. I can do a better job myself. I also went there when I had shellac gel on my hands that I needed removed (just need to soak them in acetone). She didn’t know what it was and I removed them myself while she did my toes! Don’t waste your money. I am not going there anymore. I also know a few others who have been disappointed by them.

I completely agree with the previous post. I used to go here alot because it’s convenient and they prices are better compared to the rest of the salons nearby.
I really didn’t know what good service and quality is until I left this salon and went to another location. I found myself back at this place to try gel nails (I mean how hard can it be… right??) and they ruined my nails. I believe it’s something new for the salon and they haven’t quite mastered the art of gel nails. The first set was so terrible I had them remove it all and redo the whole thing over again. I literally waisted 3 hours a this place because more than half the staff is in training or something and they have no idea what they are doing. I would much rather pay more else where and get quality work done than to save $ 5 – 10 less at this place. It’s not worth the stress. Every time I look down at my nails I get so upset.

I tried to get a french manicure and pedicure, while my sister went for a regular mani/​pedi the day before I got married. We chose this location because it’s very convenient and close to where we live.
Positives:
— three of the staff were extremely kind, friendly and courteous
— location is very convenient (although parking can be tough)
Negatives:
— they were running out of my sister’s choice of color and used nail polish remover to dilute it. Her polish started coming off the next day.
— as the girl was shaping my nails, I kept asking her to make my nails even and round. Some were squared, some were much longer… didn’t even seem like she knew what she was doing.
— in the past when i’ve requested a french mani/​pedi, i’ve always been asked how thick or thin. she didn’t bother asking and held my hand in such a way that I couldn’t see until she was done. When I told her I wanted it thinner she said I was being a perfectionist. Umm yeah, I’m getting married!
— the cuticle trimmer she started using… had someone else’s cuticles left over. DISGUSTING!
— she kept messing up and having to restart… while i appreciated the effort, my nails were a mess by the next afternoon. :(
They offered a frequent flyer discount card — if you come in 6 times, the 7^th service is free… NO THANKS! I will never go back to this place again.
