We have multiple Bambus in Houston so I was glad to find a familiar boba café once I moved out here. It wasn’t easy to locate in the shopping center, but I figured it out. The flavors and tap are both the same quality as the franchises in Houston(which is some of the best obviously) but they only accept cash, they don’t use sealed lids, the cup sizes are smaller, more expensive, and the set up of the café is not conducive for students. I go here when I’m nearby, but will not go out of my way to do so.

Satisfied with the service, it was nice and quick, and delicious. I ordered a honeydew milk tea, and 3 desserts. The milk tea was yummy, I recommend it to people who love tea. The desserts were very pretty and it also tasted yummy, I recommend #10.

It’s the americanized bubble tea spot in Eden Center aka Vietnamese central. I come here every time I’m in the area. I usually go for the bubble tea but the Che(Vietnamese dessert) is on point too!

I decided to call the owner two days later to let him know what happened. He scolded at me on the phone and said our drink does not cost $ 4.50 but thousand of dollars. This is so ridiculous. No customer service so whatever. I will not go back

I used to only drink bubble tea until I was converted to the Bambu drinks! These are so amazing. The flavor combinations are indescribable, and everything is so fresh. The service is super fast, and the workers are so kind. Caution: this is cash ONLY, so be prepared! $$$ My favorites and the #6, and the #10. My friend got the one with beans the last time and it was so delicious, but I cannot remember the number he got.

The desserts here can get pretty crazy packed with random ingredients! I like to keep things simple with just pandan jelly, grass jelly, and coconut milk. There’s also an option for no ice if you don’t want to fight through a giant ice bomb at the top of your cup to get to the good stuff at the bottom. The price point is extremely reasonable considering a basic longan drink at another restaurant just 50 meters away is $ 4, while this loaded concoction is $ 3.95. ~Cash only~

This place is great for something other than a smoothie bubble tea. This place really shines with whatever those dessert layered drinks that are displayed on the wall. I’ve had a number of them and they are fantastic. Fresh fruit, fresh jelly, everything is tastey and highly recommend this place for those dessert drinks. For bubble tea I would still recommend the place next door.

This place is so bad! The worker named Wendy is so rude, she had no respect for me as a customer and surprisingly the owner of Bambu was as rude as her! I saw her scratch her hair and clean the counter while making my drink! She didn’t wash her hands. I called her out and told her I wasn’t going to drink that after she did those things. She was rude and said she didn’t do that, the owner yelled and told me that I was banned from the store! Never coming to this place ever again. Enjoy the worst Customer service in Eden center they are cheap and didn’t want to give me a refund and now I’m soon going to call food and health services on them! Learn how sanitize and make your drinks properly!

This place is so awful that I wouldn’t even give it any stars. The workers and the owner does not know what costumer service is! Asked for a passion fruit green tea and the lady made a passion fruit milk tea. Usually I’ll be okay with getting something different but I’m lactose intolerant. So I asked her if she can remake my drink because it’s the wrong one, she said, «No, you want that one? That’s $ 4.60.» Why do we need to pay again when we already paid the first time and it’s not our fault; it’s the employee’s fault for making the wrong drink. We asked to speak to a manager because she’s demanding us to pay for another drink, she said she’s the manager. At this point we’re already tired and would like to leave. She see us still there so she said” pay $ 4.60 for a new drink.” We asked to speak to the owner and she said to come back another day. We’re still waiting here, and she’s running back and forth assisting other customers and helping the other employee. Finally, she called the owner. She took the phone and then went to the kitchen and spoke to the owner telling him her side. However, we can still see and hear her and it’s completely false. She told him that we order Passion fruit milk tea. That’s completely false. The store had customers there so there were witnesses and people heard me say Passion fruit green tea. She finally handed me the phone and I have the boss yelling at me saying«oh you order the wrong thing, what she did was right.» I explained to him and he asked to speak with the lady. It goes back and forth for awhile. And whenever I talked to the boss, the lady put it on speaker, however when it’s her turn talking, she took it off of speaker. They didn’t even want to make us a new drink, and we can see that, so we’re trying to get a refund for the drink that we paid for. Finally we got our money back, however it resulted us in being banned from the store. It’s bad customer service when an employee made the wrong drink and then banning a loyal customer from the store. On the side note, the employees should learn more about health regulations. The employee touch her hair and didn’t even washed them.

I wish there was more seating, and this place is really hard to find. There are no store signs, but it’s in the left corner(if you’re facing the Eden market) next to two bakeries and behind a fountain. There’s tapioca drinks as well as waffles, although they aren’t on the big menu. Most people took their drinks to go. I had che #10(I had no idea what che was before this experience so please forgive me for my ignorance) which was pretty good except the red tapioca was not the tapioca texture I expected. It was crunchy like a cucumber. Maybe I’m ignorant of Vietnamese desserts, but that kind of stinted my like for the whole drink. I wasn’t able to finish it even though all the other components were delicious. We came with a big group, and I’m used to tapioca places having tables and chairs and board games, and stuff. This place has a big tv playing soccer and a few nicely placed chairs, but it wasn’t enough to seat our group, so we stood around awkwardly. Still, it was a nice place, and I would be willingly to come back and try other things!

Disappointed on the serving size!!! I would advise against getting this dessert. It’s overpriced.

I love the Strawberry Fantasy bubble drink, it tastes like a strawberry starburst! The shop is fairly small and decorated with an earth toned interior. Offers a variety of drinks and desserts, I thought it was a bit hyped up, but I think it lives up to it. Fresh ingredients, good flavoring, and good portions.

For what it is, it’s pretty cool. Stop in for a refreshing dessert drink, hot or cold! I’m from Virginia Beach and grass jelly is nonexistent down there. So for $ 3.75 I got one of their Longan + grass jelly with shaved ice on top concoctions to feed my hankering! I don’t know what the liquid was it was all suspended in, it was probably just the canned Longan syrup and grass jelly juice, but it was delicious with the ice pushed down into it. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee because I had the whole day ahead of me, it was freezing cold, and I still had a 3-hour drive back home. It’s worth a try, especially if you’re not familiar with the Vietnamese Che dessert. It’s a good starting point, but I did notice cheaper drink spots nearby.

Okay we finished our dessert drink in a pretty fast pace-I just can’t get enough of them at chewy mystery jelly/rice thing! If you love tropical fruits, basil seeds, jelly, mung bean, and sweet drinks this is the place to go!

«Will you update your review yet,» my husband asked after multiple times of buying me smoothies from Bambu and, more recently, pandan waffle! Yeah, it’s about time I give them a kinder review. While I am still not a fan of their special dessert puddings(too bland for me), I am absolutely in love with their rendition of one of my favorite Vietnamese desserts, the fabulous pandan or «green tea»(for its color) waffle(picture forthcoming). Elvira-colored, Bambu’s version is fragrant, fluffy, and perfectly sweet with dried coconut flakes mixed into the batter. I could eat 10 of these… in one setting. I am not joking. So freaking good. Possibly better than one I had in San Jose! Forget cake. Forget cupcakes. Forget donuts. Forget whatever else is having a moment right now, just hand me that pandan waffle, thank you! Also, I love their taro coconut smoothie, best of both worlds, and available with bubbles or jelly. It’s rich, coconutty, tarroey, beautiful, and delicious. I still wouldn’t come here for avocado bubble tea; the honor goes to Thanh Son some doors down. And about the prices, they’re sadly average these days. I’ve noticed a hike in pricing everywhere in Eden Center. Whatever it takes to keep businesses going and customers happy… Are you happy now, Tom N.

Lovely little drink place located in Eden Center, with pretty hip/modern décor. Seating is limited, but enough to lounge around while you wait for your drink and then grab-n-go. Interior is very clean, and the menu is clearly displayed both near the entrance and behind the counter. BAMBU has a large selection of milk teas, hot drinks(e.g. Vietnamese coffee), smoothies, and chè, a Vietnamese dessert beverage. Pricing seems to be fairly average(~$ 4) for a medium-large portion drink. My bf opted for the Vietnamese coffee, and I got the #6 dessert: lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit, pandan jelly, coconut, coconut milk, & shaved ice. Both drinks were ready in about 5 minutes, and were very delicious! Like signature Viet coffee, it was quite bitter, had a strong roast taste, but was still mildly sweet. The chè was super refreshing — milky and sweet and pretty much a texture bomb of ingredients. I’m a big fan of the chewy pandan jelly, which had a tapioca-like texture. My bf gave it 2 thumbs up for quality, and given that his mom(who lived in Vietnam most of her life) has made this for him countless times, definitely attests to the quality here at BAMBU. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area! :)

Absolutely delicious and a must try. At first I thought it was just going to be another drink place but they have so much more! It’s not a huge place but I think most of the people just grab and go. We went on a Sunday and it was very packed inside. There was a waiting line but the service was good and they promptly served everyone in an orderly fashion. I had the Bambu #1 and it was awesome! Great taste and really refreshing on a hot summer day. I would recommend giving this place a try. It’s well worth it.

Let’s just say I am lucky there is not a BAMBU close to where I live, or else my wallet would be in big trouble because it is soooo delicious. One of my favorite Filipino desserts is halo halo and the shaved ice desserts(chè) at BAMBU are super similar. It is the perfect refreshing summer dessert. I ordered the #6 Chè trái cây which had lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit(my favorite!), palm seed, pandan jelly, jello, and coconut. It is a delicious and fruity combination! What I loved about it was that there were big pieces of fruit and I didn’t feel like they were being stingy at all. There were quite a few big pieces of lychee and I never felt like I was just eating shaved ice. When we arrived, there wasn’t a line but by the time we were finished ordering the line was out the door. Our drinks and desserts all came out quickly. One thing to note is that there is not a lot of seating if you are coming with a big crowd. So if it is busy, then you might be forced to take your dessert on the go. But if you are looking for a perfect summer treat, then look no further! There are lots of options and you are bound to find something to love!

Within the Eden Center, there’s a countless number of Bubble Tea places. Inside BAMBU Desserts & Drinks, there was an ordering counter, pickup counter, and few sets of tables and chairs for patrons. They sell bubble tea, hot beverages, smoothies, and traditional Vietnamese dessert drinks. We liked how they had pictures of each drink on the drink menu! Both drinks were sweet and delicious! My cousin Karen got the Black Milk Tea with Boba. Instead of getting bubble tea, I decided to venture out and try something new and different. I got Dessert #6: Che Trai Cay, which consisted of lychee, longan, red tapioca pearls, jackfruit, palm seed, jello, pandan jelly, and shaved ice in coconut milk.

Decent drink and dessert shop in a Vietnamese quarter, a little hard to find at first on our first time and the shop is in the far left corner of the plaza. We like: the bamboo décor, comfortable seats and decent boba tea. We don’t like: no WiFi, inconsistency in serving size of boba –depending on who takes your order, you might either get shot down with no apology or be offered a bit more so you have close to what many other shops serve. We would not mind not coming back, but would like to wish them well.
