I hate 7 Market but sometimes I’m forced to go there if I’m late in the morning. The staff is standoffish if you’re not Hispanic, but it helps to be white in there because if you aren’t … the korean owners will be watching you like a hawk. They have a selection of «specialty beers» in the back that are 2x the price they should be, so I’ve enjoyed passing those up. They recently raised the prices of their regular beer to which I find unacceptable(6pk of Yuengling should be 5.99, not 6.29 you greedy maniacs.) It is for this reason that I try to boycott this store whenever possible. The only redeeming thing about 7 Market(besides the fact that its within walking distance) is that they have the hard-to-find EZ-Wider 1−¼ rolling papers — for all your smoking needs! ** Oh, and I hardly ever win the lottery there — so skip their tickets!

Ok, I stop by this small mini market while on business trip to Virginia. I needed to buy a few things, but did not have the patience of going to supermarket. This place is convenient store /grocery that sold almost everything that a normal supermarket would sell. They also have nice fresh fruit selection and small deli, and sandwiches are only $ 4… taste is wonderful! They also have a very huge beer and wine selection. I walked into this place thinking i was going to buy some cigarette, water, beer, and toothpaste, but I ended walking out with food to stock up in my hotel room for the whole week. I also grabbed a bite to eat. This place is about the twice the size of 7 eleven, but has everything that a large supermarket offers. It’s a small mom and pop shop, and owners are also very friendly. I think every neighborhood should have a small grocery store like this.
