A diamond in the rough. Great food, only trumped by their outstanding service. When I ordered the ravioli, they warned me it would take a few minutes because they needed to hand make the pasta; well worth the wait. If the main course wasn’t enough, they paraded the dessert selection until I ran out of will power. The pies looked great, but the cheesecake had my name on it. Unbelievable.

This place was a great place to have breakfast. They have a lot of healthy choices, but also a great selection of baked sweets! I love how they mixed and matched their chairs and tables. Since we were the first customers of the day they gave us an orange roll what a great way to start off our day. The coffee was amazing, and I love how they are a local business. We will definitely be stopping by there again on our way through next time.

Courtyard Café is our favorite place to eat in Fallon. The staff is very nice, and the food is great. The homemade soups are to die for.

Wow! My veggie omelet was truly one of the best ever. Fresh veggies, sundried tomatoes and Swiss. Yum! Mom had the feta omelet with spinach. And ate it all! Don’t forget to get the raisin wheat toast. And course a pot of loose leaf tea. Wish we lived closer…

This really is a cute small-town café. I sat down and was greeted by a very sweet lady who took my drink order. I wish she would of been my waitress… but instead another lady came to take my order after. Either she was having a bad day or just disliked her job… but she was cold and short with me. I even made a silly comment about getting a salad so I could get an delicious piece of pie without feeling bad… as a joke of course. She did not find it funny, said«okay» and walked away. When leaving, the door was locked(it was 2:31 and the café closed at 2:30) and she made it seem like it was such a task to come and help me with the door(the lock was stuck and seemed finicky). The food was AMAZING and I will likely come back for that reason… But her attitude was disappointing. I think may be the owner vs some type of head person by the way she was interacting with staff, which makes her attitude even more unwarranted. We alI have bad days… but if you are in a business where customer satisfaction is key, you may want to check your mood before you serve your customers. A smile can go a long way. I will def be giving this place another chance.

I was a little conflicted about writing a review for this place. We ordered food to go. When I picked it up, the food was ready, the place was very busy and the lady at the register was… somewhat friendly. I had the Sweet Chicken sandwich with potato salad and my husband had the Mushroom Swiss burger with pasta salad. The food was great, everything was definitely fresh and made in house. The burger was amazing! The bread fresh. However, I grabbed 2 pieces of pumpkin roll and 2 scones from the bakery case. When I bit into the pumpkin roll, it was AWFUL!!! It tasted like there had been something added to it in accident. It honestly tasted like cleaner or poison. I threw away the rest of the baked goods. I really wanted to give a better review. But after messaging the café about my experience and getting a poor response, I definitely have to knock off stars for service. Definitely hesitant to eat here next time we’re in Fallon. Such a shame.

I had to have decaf made because they had none. I watched the waitress set it up. She had it ready in record time though I suspect she added plenty of water to the drip. End result — more expensive than Starbucks and weaker to boot.

I came here for breakfast after reading great reviews on Unilocal, and I wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant was clean and airy, with soft jazz music in the background: the set-up was comfortable and inviting. We were greeted immediately by several of the staff, and seated quickly. I ordered the Florentine Benedict without the bacon. The coffee was good and my cup was refilled several times without having to flag anyone down(thanks!). The meal was FANTASTIC. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a hollandaise snob, and this might have been the best I’ve ever had. A woman who seemed to be the manager or owner came over during the meal and said she’d noticed I’d ordered my meal without meat. She asked if I was vegetarian and then gave great veggie-friendly suggestions from their lunch menu for my next visit. I’ve been vegetarian for 20+ years due to food allergies. When a restaurant makes a point to make my vegetarianism welcome, it speaks words about the establishment as a whole. Such a good experience that I left with a slice of their strawberry rhubarb pie, and a piece of banana bread to-go! I’ll be back!

I was here on business for a week and the locals were raving about this place. I went for lunch today and ordered the ribeye sandwich with vegetable soup. All fresh everything. IT. WAS. SO. GOOD. The soup, especially to be vegetable, was hot and delicious and the sandwich was amazing. The customer service was excellent as everyone was super friendly and funny.

Good little restaurant. Really good portions. A lot more expensive than I expected for a small town like Fallon. We tried: pancakes, bacon/mushroom omelet, sausage, eggs. All were delicious.

Currently the best place to east in Fallon, at least that I’ve tried. Chairs are kind of hard, but I had one of the best-looking omelets I’ve ever had right here. Being a hash brown man, I did not want to like the«home fries» but I was quite taken with them as well. I’m sure that If I could bring myself to stray from my plebeian tastes there are other great-looking items on the menu as well. Service was good, and they had what looked to be some killer cinnamon buns available on the way out. Fallon. Treat this restaurant with the love and respect it deserves– don’t let it go away. I need a place to go to for a real omelet.
