The ladies are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in a situation where I needed to ensure I had a place to live before leaving for 5 weeks and they were more than accommodating to my situation and made signing a breeze.

Beyond being very unprofessional at the showing, Kelly insisted on taking my application and fee, then informed me that it was very unlikely that I would qualify for the property that she showed me and assured me that she would check in with me in 24 hours. I did not ask for this, she suggested it.
After 1 week [7 days] I called her office and found that they had so many applicants, «we didn’t call everyone that didn’t get the place, just the one applicant that did.»
She took my fee for a credit check that she never ran and admits that she had no intention of running. She never called me back and admits that she never planned to.
She tried to steal from me.

Since I was deployed, my wife set us up with Thompson and Assoc. based on the recommendation of another military mom. We’ve been using them for almost a year now, and I’ve been very happy with them. They’re very professional, give good referrals to other contractors — landscapers, plumbers, maid service, etc.
Because we moved to the other side of the country, it’s been nice to have the peace of mind they give us. Since our tenant moved in, they’ve had to replace a leaky garbage disposal, hire a landscaper, etc. My dealing with these things have been maybe one phone call, unless I had already delegated them the authority to use their discretion. The tenants have all seemed very happy in their dealings with the Thompsons.
Property managers may not be for everyone, but having them definitely makes me realize they’re for us.
