I love this place! They have great deals on everything and the staff is super friendly! I got an amazing deal on a large buffet for my entertainment center from Jayne! The price was hard to beat for such an amazing piece of artwork. Sometimes you have to search around for a few things but that’s what makes stores like this fun. All the stuff is timeless and in great condition. There is also paint you can purchase if you wanna shabby anything yourself and you can always ask for something to be painted for a really great price. What’s even better is that you can put an item on layaway when you put 50% down and pick it up within 30 days. This place is AWESOME!!!

Best hidden gem that I’ve found in a while. Lots of amazing finds at really great prices. Plus the owner was helpful and nice, will be returning soon! It took me almost a year to finally check this place out and I wish I would have gone sooner!

First time shopping here, loved the store, lots of cool pieces, both outdoor and indoor, great prices, we didn’t know what we were looking for but walked out with quite a bit. The owner was the one who helped us, she even gave us some new ideas that we hadn’t thought of for a farm table were building. Definitely will return.

I live in North County and have visited Second Chances at least a dozen times. Five of my treasured lamps were found here. It’s so very unique! In one of the many rooms filled with small and large treasures alike, you can see and hear the stream running alongside the structure. I cannot fathom how some of the other reviewers think Jane is lacking in customer service. Seems she is conducting business. I’m all about the customer, but I believe the harsh criticisms are unwarranted. No, I do not know her personally. Second Chances is a gem to peruse and purchase unique antique or specialty items. It’s a favorite destination spot on your way in to Fallbrook.

Yes they have some cute stuff but it was a bit overpriced. The 2 stars are for the service. The woman there this past Saturday was clearly annoyed that I was with a child and my small leashed Maltipo. Both in fact are very well behaved. My son enjoys thrifting with me and knows the rules. In fact we had just purchased a vintage gardening tool down the street. When I entered the main building I smiled and said hi to the lady working. No greeting or smile back in return. Hmmm. Went and checked the place out some more. Saw a super cute folded up boho style kids teepee folded up in the sale items. I was attempting to open it up when the lady said curtly«that’s not for sale». Ok, maybe it should not be located in the items for sale. Just a thought. Needless to say, I won’t be back. Maybe I’ll send my dog and son in though!

I am very disappointed in employee Jane. Her behaviors in the way she treats customers and employees in front of customers is NOT the Fallbrook way. I have had 2 out of 2 terrible experiences while being in this store. I find it appauling how Jane treats people. I guess Jane has forgotten that she puts her pants on the same way I do, one leg at a time. Because others rent space in this store to sell their belongings, I gave it some thought to write a review, because I would not want to hurt those people by a neg review. This last time I was in this store, was the straw that broke the candles back, Jane’s rudeness was over the top! I will NEVER step foot in this store, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Jane needs to go to ettiquite and kindness school. Yes, I agree with previous Unilocaler, that the ground is not level and can be dangerous, in addition, many steps are dangerous inside the store as well, many small isles also, especially at the register, you could not wheel a wheelchair thru this store.

Very cute quaint place! Lots of antique and vintage items. It’s pricier than other antique shops I have been to, but still fun to look around!

This place is a bountiful mixture of every type of vintage treasure a person could wish for! All kinds of rustic pieces as well as fine higher end pieces as well. A variety of vendors in the main barn, sheds outside, tents as well as an outdoor garden section. There are also vendors that create pieces by reworking old barn wood and fencing etc. into folk art. Very cool furniture from every era. The ladies here were so nice and helpful to me. It was super hot out and they offered me a bottle of cold water as well as a place to sit. I purchased a large floor standing victorian birdcage that is truly spectacular! This is my new place to shop!

Interesting mixture of random items. It is a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon walking through to see what they have to offer.

Love this place, it’s my FAVORITE place to go in town. Always treasures to find. A lot of pieces of furniture in my home from this place and everyone who comes to my house asks«where did you find that???» I always tell them to go here!!!

I love this place! You can always find something you need. It is the perfect place to find quality items(especially Furniture) at a fair price. A great place to grab a friend and explore. Jayne(the owner) is helpful and offered to add an item I was looking for to the«Wish List»! I recently purchased an industrial red bench and I would never find this in a BOX store! Don’t miss Second Chances when shopping Vintage!

I Love this place! Such an enjoyable experience to wander and connect to new pieces of beauty to add to your life. I never even thought I would like furniture as intensely as when you hear a man talk about his car. then I bought this beautiful turquoise dresser for my Healing office on the water side in Del Mar and now I light up about it the same way. Many of my clients comment on it as well ~ being unique and beautiful. Check out my site if you want to see it in its home topped with massage creams, singing bowls, and a salt lamp. Lol and have fun finding the right piece for you!

Great little stop and definitely the place to go for a huge selection of antiques. Nestled in beautiful Fallbrook, Ca., this little house & barn conversion has lots of «eye candy» for the serious(and not so serious) antique collector! Lots of holiday specials right now too! See their web page at:

What a fun place to look for some antiques and not so antique finds. I had a great time working my way around some cool things. I know there were about a handful of things I would love to have in our home! There is plenty to look at, you’ve got to come check this place out for yourself! It’s not air conditioned so if you are coming out during the summer months bring a handy fan and have fun searching for that special something, whether its for you or for someone else.
