I wanted very much to like this place as there are so few choices in Fallbrook, but unfortunately I could not. The service was friendly and the place looked clean, but I ate about 1⁄3 of the container and tossed the rest. I ordered Kung Pao chicken which should be a no brainer, but it was not like any Kung Pao I have had before. I’d give points for originality if it was good, but unfortunately I had to deduct points as it was frankly lousy.

This place is so bomb! I had my food to-go and there was no one in the restaurant, which made me nervous. I chose to give it a shot anyway and it was really good. I’m picky about Chinese food, I was impressed!

What a find! Some if the most beautifully prepared and delicious food I’ve ever eaten. Worth driving a few extra miles for.

Best orange chicken! My boyfriend and I came here to try it out and it was the closet Chinese food to us and we had a craving– glad we did! The orange chicken was great and my egg flour soup was bomb! Haven’t tried much off menu but if you need a orange chicken fix definitely come here!

Last time I came here the worker(lady) got mad because I payed in debit instead of cash which was rude of her desperately asking to pay in cash, I never carry cash with me, I loose it all the time. So after she called her coworker over I finally payed with my card and left. The egg soup is delicious and all but I feel the prices are not reasonable for what you get.

Her egg drop soup is the best I have ever had! She is always so kind and we get the best service when we come here. Love this little place. Places like this make fallbrook great!

I began on Sunday evening when this quaint, little town of Fallbrook shuts down as if vampires come out at dusk. So, I walked. I found this place adjacent to a grocery store I frequent, and was a bit hungry. I ordered Kung Pao combo and Combination Lo Mein. I hit the ‘full’ point about half way through both dishes, but kept plowing through. This tasted so amazing, I ordered a Tsingtao to celebrate. So fantastic was this meal of two dishes, I vow to return with friends. Fortune, «You are broad minded and socially active.» I concur. This place was amazing.

I have been eating from this place since 2013. It is very mediocre Chinese food. The food will do if you want Chinese and don’t want to go out of Fallbrook. I’ve had worse Chinese food I can say, but since my family and I discovered Peking Wok in Bonsall recently, we go there because it is cooked for real and at the time ordered. Not merely heated up and ready in 7 mins, which usually makes me suspicious in Chinese food. The owners are nice here and if for whatever reason I couldn’t make it to Peking, I would go here.

We have gone back several times and have never been disappointed. Chinese dumplings can not be matched by chain Chinese restaurants that mass produce food. Authenticity is what Great China is about. Enjoy your owner prepared food that is authentic and delicious. Highly, highly recommend!

This restaurant has the best Chinese food, It’s pricey, but worth every bite. The beef and brocli is great. The beef is cooked to perfection and the brocli has a nice crunch.

Looks are deceiving here as the restaurant is in a shipping center and not fancy. However the food is consistently good. Love the twice burnt pork, the fried rice and everything we’ve ever had. Yummy yummy.

Sweet people. But probably the worst food, let alone Chinese food that I’ve ever tasted. Our tea was served room temperature and resembled and tasted like dirty dish water(not that I drink dirty dish water.) I wanted to like this place but I’ve learned quickly not to trust reviews from most of the locals in Fallbrook… if you’ve ever eaten in LA, OC or SD subtract 2 stars from most reviews and it will be a more accurate rating for the restaurants in this little town. I’m all about hole in the wall & mom and pop but only when it’s actually good food.

Went here again and the food was all overcooked to hell and back. We had the same things as before and they were even worse now. I would like to add that I live ONE mile from the restaurant and, like with all take out, I call my order in while sitting in the parking lot so I can go in and get it the minute they say it will be ready. The food was still over cooked to being revoltingly mushy but the fried shrimp had big pockets of undercooked batter that kicked in my gag-reflex as I bit into them! I do not like giving this place a bad review as their food truly tastes good; they just don’t know how long to cook things! This just might be a take-out thing; I’ve gone to places where the eat-in food was exquisite but the take-out was slop. I don’t know as I won’t return either as take out or eat-in because this was the third try… so strike and sorry.

Great little place for Chinese food in Fallbrook not to be compared with Peking wok which is just as awesome if not better with a totally different variety of menu options.

With the pervasive lack of Americanized Chinese food to be found these days, we had high hopes this would be a hidden gem. So we ordered a variety of dishes to get a good cross section of their food. Across the board, the food didn’t resemble or taste anything like the traditional Chinese food we so love and crave. The eggs foo young weren’t like anything I’ve ever experienced. Instead of succulent fritter-like cakes filled with crunchy veggies and meat lightly fried in an egg batter topped with a thick flavorful gravy, the entrée consisted of two fried cakes of batter with nothing in them. And they were burnt at that. Then there was a watery mix of overcooked veggies and only a few scant shrimp in the bottom of the take-out container floating around in a watery juice. I’ve made this at home since I first started to cook and had the thought that perhaps I needed to give them a lesson. The Teriyaki Chicken bowl was a complete disapointment, arriving covered in a thick sweet sauce, rather than the typical pungent sauce. The Almond Chicken was flavorless, with very little almonds or chicken. And the cherry on top of this dissaster was the egg drop soup. If a Chinese restaurant can’t get this right, there’s simply no hope. In closing, I felt like perhaps the cook(I hesitate to say chef) just got off the boat and had no concept of the Americanized Chinese Food so popular to the pallets here. So my 2 cents: unless you don’t care about having your Chinese food resemble anything you’re familiar with AND you don’t mind spending a fair amount for mediocre food, go for it. Else, pass it by and wait until you take a trip up to China Town up in L. A…

Earlier this year we had an $ 80 dinner for 4 and at the end they told us they don’t take cards. We were scrambling and the food was barely edible. I won’t be going back.

Pretty good food. Really sweet though. This place lacks customer service. I’ll chalk it up to their culture. I won’t be coming back her anymore…

Just got takeout from here and everything was great! Fresh and hot. The hot and sour soup is fantastic! I got the chow mein with beef, and my boyfriend got the sweet and sour chicken which he really enjoyed. The woman who took our phone order was so friendly which is always appreciated.

This was my first time to a Chinese establishment in San Diego; in Fallbrook no less. My fiancé and I had a very unique experience here that suited the nature of this town very well. The first thing we noticed is that the atmosphere and ambiance seemed truly authentic. It’s almost like a hole-in-the-wall Chinese spot, but with finesse. The décor was traditional, the seating was cozy and the music was exactly what I’d expect in an authentic Asian location. The feel was very warm and welcoming. We were greeted very friendly and with open-arms from an older lady(who appeared to be the owner), who was all-smiles and had a deep Asian accent. We then noticed it was only her and possible a cook in the back. This led to the true, authentic feeling of a «mom and pop» restaurant. Loved it! I don’t like«chain» food establishments. With all this in mind, please be aware that your food is ‘made-to-order’ and takes its time to be prepared; so sit-back and read the papers or enjoy your conversation. Now for the food. We ordered the Pu-Pu Platter, soup, a rice bowl and veggie pan-friend noodles. The portions here are ‘human-sized’ and not the typical«American Super-Sized» kind. My teriyaki chicken rice bowl suited me perfectly and the appetizers came in 2 piece samples. I wasn’t used to how they prepared the pan-fried noodles and they weren’t exactly«crispy» or slightly burned like I’ve had before; but I’m sure that’s just their way of doing the dish. I’ll go back next time and order something simple and use that as my basis. All-in-all, I liked my dining experience here in this quaint, authentic restaurant. Side Note: I wasn’t immediately hungry when I got home and that leads me to believe they don’t use MSG in their cooking. Yay!!!
