Affordable AC & Heating

I got a great recommendation from my Insurance agent to call Jim at Affordable A/​C and Solar to install my solar system. I called Jim on Thursday and he came right over and gave me a great quote for an LG system. 7 days later my solar system was professional installed and then next day I was turned on and saving $$$$! Jim takes the time to fully answer any questions or concerns you may have. After the installation he followed up with a call to tell me my system was operating perfectly. Jim monitors your system ²⁴⁄₇ and is alerted if there are any problems. I am very happy with the quality and how fast my system was installed and highly recommend Affordable A/​C and Solar.

These guys worked on my A/​C years ago and were both helpful and reasonably priced. When I made the decision to put solar up, Jim was my first phone call. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the solar install. Jim took the time to explain everything to me and was very affordable. I was so happy to begin saving a ton of money on my electric bill the VERY Next month. Affordable A/​C and Solar is the only company I refer to my friends and family.

Wanted to remove this review but cant forget him laughing at the situation. Hate it when contractors deal with people in the unprofessional way, specially when they see they are dealing with a lady.

Talked with both father and son who are the owners. They were both responsive and knowledgeable and fixed my heat pump issue in short order at a competitive cost.

I had Jim over to my house on two occasions to repair our a/​c unit. On both visits he was extremely responsive and came out to the house in less than 24 hours. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made no attempt to up-​sell me on anything. He was very professional, he knows his trade, and his prices are reasonable. Jim, owner and service technician extraordinaire once again came through with flying colors.
Over the years, he has installed our Forced Air Unit, and our Air Conditioner. He is prompt to respond when he promises. Once again, he diagnosed the problem with our A/​C, had the part on his Truck, and with in 15 minutes had our unit back up and running perfectly again. I can’t believe this level of service — late Friday afternoon, the AC stops working and the house is 88 degrees in no time — Jim comes by, figures out the issue (actually already had on the phone with me), has the part and we are back getting cooled off in 15 minutes — tops! We had a friend recommend Jim and his son Richard to give us a quote on a new condenser. Jim gave us great advice over the phone and then came out and verified what he had thought we needed. We had the new unit installed at ¹⁄₃ the cost quoted from a competitor. We will not use anyone else to do our future work.

My husband and I thought we could get through a Fallbrook summer without a working AC… Boy were we wrong! When I saw the forecast of two weeks of over 90 degrees I started to really stress about our dogs being alone all day melting. I called Affordable AC and as busy as they are, Richard still came out to see what I had. He laughed at how old my unit was but bless his heart, he still tried to fix the antique. We discussed a new unit but he still tried to fix mine with no pressure trying to sell me a new one. No luck but a day later he squeezed me in and installed the new unit today. So far, so good. He was super nice to me and my dogs… even after getting stung by a wasp! It’s not the top rated AC unit around but it’s chugging along trying to cool off my 85 degree house. Thanks so much for squeezing us in!

I couldn’t wait to get on the computer to write this review. It got up to 88 degrees in the house today when the AC stopped working. Concerned for my 87 year old father I called this place up and they were here in less then an hour and had it up and running in 15 min. I am extremely happy with the service and they say whats in a name? Affordable is right on. Thanks guys.
