Fall Creek Falls State Park

I loved this park for many reasons. You could hike or drive and see amazing things, which makes it good for all ages and abilities. The waterfalls were beautiful, even though the water levels were low in the fall. I enjoyed all three hikes I did and do recommend going down the very well maintained falls creek falls trail to the bottom. Just take your time if you have bad knees and rest on the way back up. It truly was beautiful!
The campground «C“was just OK to me. It was very packed on the weekend, but cleared out during the week. The sites are very close to each other, so noise can be an issue at night. But they did have running water and electric which was helpful when I needed to plug in my electric blanket I bought since it dropped to 34 degrees that weekend on me (burrrr). The bathrooms were gross during the weekend and I just opted to go in when I had to. Once they got cleaned up after the craziness was over they were usable, but still not the best I’ve been in. The showers were HOT however (at least when I took one during the week). I’d stay here again, but try to avoid the weekend. And if you do plan on going — RESERVATIONS are needed in advance and weekends fill up FAST!
The campground was the only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars, but even at that, I’d still come back!

i love going to Bruster’s for all of their food. the ice cream is the best you can get any where. it would be nice to have an indoor seating so customers can sit inside when it’s hot so their ice cream wouldn’t melt. but that is the only thing I say they could improve on. Well done Bruster’s
