We were disappointed in the RV park. A little rain made the whole place very muddy as the sites and roads are just dirt. Sites are pretty small and those sites that have a fire pit are pretty lame. The fire pit is just a circle of rocks. The best thing about this place is the swimming pool and spa facilities. The pool was warm and pretty clean. The price was $ 54 a night which is too high for the quality of the place. Also we thought the place had septic hookups but that proved not to be the case making it difficult to take showers without moving to dump. The place is large with lots of trees but you have to wander around to find a spot.

This place is gorgeous. Sites are very large and spacious. The sites have a picnic table and fire pit. It is very quiet and the staff is friendly. I did experience trouble when communicating about a monthly stay and had to finalize it when I arrived. I had been trying for about two weeks prior to confirm and finalize a spot. This and the lack of a sewer hook up make it 4 stars. The pool is large and clean. There are two different buildings to shower with four showers each. The laundry room is nice and it costs $ 2 to wash and $ 2 to dry per load. I like this place but really wish they had sewer hookups.

Tall Chief RV is an Encore resort and a great find. Although the driveways/roads are all gravel/dirt and sites are not paved the remainder of the resort makes up for this. The pool and common area is top notch with a great pool table and fun space for the kids. They have shuffle board, basketball, mini golf, and pickelball/tennis. We stayed at quite a few RV resorts the last few weeks and this one was by far the most fun. As Jay states the bathrooms are clean but out of date and the other facilities are not 5 star however the community here and the care takers more than make up for it. We were in between houses for a few days and were day to day on the close date of our new place. They were very accommodating and allowed us to adjust and even check-out late the final day. We will definitely be going back and soon.

This place isn’t well maintained. The facilities are clean but showing their age. The entire pool and building closes after labor day. Lots of sites are well lived in, with lots of dogs, constant traffic. Sites are large and easy to get in to. Probably okay for a quick stop off before getting into the city but, not for a resort experience. It’s way-way overpriced for the condition and virtually no resort services after labor day.
