Been a year now… and our weekly grocery store. Must say its a fab place. cept… the butchers… some at least. I stopped asking them and just get the pre-packed. If only they weren’t wielding large knives… been many a times I’d question their rudeness. Perhaps dairy section man… dislikes his job. When asked to get something, he was not pleased. when thanked(twice) he ignored. Well done Fairview management trainers. ALL the other employees are lovely, friendly, helpful, esp. the fruit and vege(tho’ one fella needs to pull his pants up less he prefers to be a plumber) and cashiers. And who doesn’t luv the florist girl!

Amazing place for fresh fish and meats. I love the larger than average selection dairy free, vegan options. Some products are not always available(but that wasn’t their fault) and I do wish for more dairy free baking options. The vegan brownies are great.

The four stars is for the fresh meat and egg selection and the meat counter guys are awesome! That’s the only thing that keeps me coming here because other local grocery stores don’t have much of a selection or their meat isn’t too fresh. That being said, I dread WF because of the people who shop here(this goes for all WF locations and other similar markets). Their heads are far too up their butts to leave a path for people to get by. They stand around like cattle just staring at things. You say«pardon me» and it’s like looking into the void. The layout of the store is purposely designed to keep people penned in and trapped. Tough for us people who just want to buy something and leave :) The best time to come in here is early in the morning or about an hour until they close. Oh and watch yourself in the parking lot, it’s pretty dangerous for the above reasons too. Park far away! Hope I got someone to chuckle and nod at this.

Yummy! We absolutely enjoy visiting Whole Foods. Whether you are on a health kick a few months out of the year or year round, this is the place to visit. Their selections are varied, wide, and marvelous! The foods are always fresh, the personal care area is usually well-stocked, and their reading material selections are quite good. If you are looking for some ready-made organic meals, fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy products, etc. look no more because it’s all here. One of the nice things we enjoy is being able to just sit down with our children, and enjoy the WF ready-made meals.

I can’t say enough great things about Whole Foods Market here in Fairview. Every employee treats you like you family. I always look forward to my visits to this Fairview location. Always!

My congrats on the freshness and nutritious the food is here. The food is great and I usually come here to eat lunch. They also have great coffee. However, my only negative is when the food is freshly taken out, it sits out for a while and the freshness starts to go. Once I get there at lunch the food has been sitting under heat lights and the freshness is gone. There are flies wizzing by everywhere. Other than that, everything in this store is GREAT. The fruit is fresh and they have a great selection of fresh fish and meats.

Disappointed in the Meat/Seafood section of this Whole Foods. The guys working the fresh meat section are total deuches. Especially the fat bearded guy and older dude with glasses. I was a bit shocked how they treated one older blonde lady when she asked for a lb of ground beef. She was older and they kept yelling at her rudely on what«percentage» she wanted. Poor lady could probably not speak loud enough and the guy was getting mad. One other dude accidentally asked for a «kilo» of meat and the fat bearded guy was like«we don’t have kilos here» in a very condescending tone. The guy apologized and asked for 2 lbs of whatever beef he needed but I could tell the fat bearded guy wanted to no part of it. All this occurred within 5 minutes when I waited on some red snapper to be filleted. I dont know if they hate their jobs but they shouldn’t treat elderly people or those who make innocent mistakes on units of measures of meats. Which is a surprise because most of the other staff i’ve encountered at Whole Foods are super nice and friendly and greet with a smile and overly polite. From the lady at the tea/vitamin section to the people at the checkout counters to the bakery. Even the dudes stocking produce are friendly and helpful and even stop what they’re doing to walk you over to whatever it is you are looking for. But the meat/seafood section… wow. I expect that kind of service at an off-brand gasoline station in the ghetto, but not the Whole Foods of Allen/Fairview. Makes the worst part of the hood look like Disneyland compared the way these deuchebags treat their customers.

I’m confused. Went to Fairview Whole Foods today for my birthday, knowing Sircy, the wine genius works Monday-Wednesday, I won’t tell you my age… Just wanted to purchase a good wine, without paying a fortune. She has taught me so much about wine and I always buy her recommendations and am so pleased with her suggestions. But when I went in the store I thought I saw her in the bakery area. So I thought, she will be back in the wine section soon. So I’m looking at wine and Sircy isn’t there to help or suggest anything… So I go back to the bakery and find her making coffee and tea for someone. Seriously??? This woman is such an asset to Whole Foods!!! I met her two years ago in the Plano store. Then saw her at the Fairview store soon after it opened and was just thrilled she would be working in the area where I live. Her knowledge about wine is incredible. She should be teaching wine classes there like the larger Total Wine stores, etc. have. She never judges if you just want a good $ 10. Bottle to enjoy that night, or a $ 25. Bottle or or a $ 50. Plus bottle. She just truly educates everyone that comes in the wine department about wine and what to look for. So then why would you have no one in the wine department? Why would you have a true wine educator serving coffee and tea? One of the reasons I love Whole Foods is the service and knowledge about products. You might pay a bit more, put the service and attention is worth it. So please Powers that be, get Sircy back in wine… Let her teach classes. Otherwise, I’m sure your wine sales WILL go down! Too many places sell wine. It is the service and knowledge I gain from her that I buy wine at your store!

I have never been a health nut. I’ve never really cared weather there were all natural ingredients in my food even though I knew it was better for me. But this place has changed my mind. The food is amazing. My wife and I will come here for coffee and breakfast some days. The coffee is great and the breakfast items are pretty cheap and taste great. They have a full salad bar that is super fresh and also have pizza that is cooked throughout the day that you can buy by the slice.

I was surprised by their limited options on seafood that looked fresh and good. I bought some turkey breast from the deli that was roasted in the store and it was too dry to eat on sandwiches with mayo. My daughter had a pasta salad from the deli and the pasta was undercooked. I expect prices and quality to go together and I wasn’t impressed. The«Kona» coffee was cut with lower quality coffee(I can get that at Kroger) and their protein powder didn’t include hemp or egg. I think that I expected more specialty items than they carry and higher quality based on the higher prices. I’m guilty of being thrifty but I went in knowing roughly what they charge. Overall, I was hoping to find some super quality ingredients but it was meh. I think that this is more status than substance.

Wow just overwhelmed by the graciousness of staff today! I went there looking to buy my husband a surprise anniversary cake I got to the register just to realize my debit card was not with me but with my husband. I was about to walk away teary-eyed, just been a rough couple of months. Anyhow the cashier says I want to give 5his to you please let me get it approved and they bought our cake today. Such generosity! I feel so blessed thank you and I will pay it forward!!!

The workers are so friendly. They have a great selection of various foods and drinks. The bakery is great, different than the California and Arizona stores.

I went into Whole Foods — Fairview this morning to purchase a breakfast sandwich at the breakfast bar. When I went to the coffee bar to check out, the barista was just standing there, not working, and intently reading a note. Since I assumed that she did not see me at the register, I asked for help. She came over to me and abruptly stated«What do you want?» I stated that I just needed to check out. Then being very annoyed she asked«You’re not getting a coffee? If you want to check out, can’t you go over there(and pointed to the font checkout area). I asked«Can’t you check me out here?» Then she became very irate and stated«I don’t know what your motive of operandi is, but yes I can check you out here?» After that berating comment, I said«I’m just trying to check out but forget it; I’ll go to the front checkout area. She said«Fine». At which a nice young man at the front desk was more than happy to check me out. I’m not sure what’s going on but the Whole Foods in Fairview has really hit an all time low in customer service at the coffee bar. A lot of their good employees have left.

I have been to other grocery stores and they do not have ANY options on expresso beans. This is the only place that has several options other then Amazon. For me that is a win big time! When shopping here one has to remember this is organic foods and they support sellers in the community. If you want to complain about them not having the same items as Tom Thumb, market street, and Kroger then don’t shop here. The items here are different and I’m willing to pay for what I feel is s fair price. Supporting our community at a fair price is well worth what ever you spend running around looking for a good deal.

I went into whole foods today looking for strawberries. I had previously been to 5 different grocery stores within the past 3 days including costco, walmarts and kroger. I thought I’d give whole foods a try. THEYHADTHEM! I grabbed a box that was needed for my fruit tarts and got in line to pay. The lady at the register was very pleasent and noticed I was in and out fairly quickly. While making smalltalk, I told her how glad I was to have found these strawberries and how difficult it was since all these locations didn’t have them and she made them free. It was so sweet of her. When I asked her why she made them free. She replied«thanks for thinking of whole foods» Usually the employees are very friendly and try to help you the best they can and make it easy to shop here. They Def know how to make their customers happy. I don’t think iv had a bad expirience yet.

You get Zero stars! I bought grapes yesterday and half the bag is rotten & mushy. I washed the grapes and noticed there are 2 different varieties in the bag. The stems are brown & skinny i.e. dead. You sold me rotten over priced grapes with a few fresh ones of a different variety on top so I wouldn’t notice. I threw most of them away before I realized I had been duped by wholefoods in ALLENTX. You guys really suck! This would never happen in L.A.

Instead of stopping at a fast food joint, I came here. So glad I did. Seemed a little bit smaller than other WF’s I’ve shopped at, but still had a great selection of fresh produce. I found my fruits and headed to the back for some salmon. The guy at the meat counter was quick and friendly. I made my way to the deli area, smelled divine(or maybe I was just super hungry). I looked at the sandwich menu and didn’t see any breadless options(attempting low carb). Decided to take my chances and requested that my sandwich be wrapped in lettuce instead. The deli clerk agreed AND with a smile. She took her time and prepared it with a lot of care. I was really thankful. I hopped in the 10 items or less line and was out in no time. Everything tasted so good when I got home. I’ll definitely go back if I’m in that area shopping again.

Love this place. The food is great. They have a microwave(convenient when you have a baby!). Like to eat on their patio. Great for children too! The only problem is I think that Wholefoods in general is way too expensive!

Pretty small location as Whole Foods goes. The size makes it really cramped inside. It is convenient to me, but I only stop here if I am looking for something specific that a regular grocery store doesn’t sell or that I prefer their quality. Overrated and overpriced for the large percent of the items they sell.
