The Lodges at Lake Salish are nice and spacious with some nice amenities such as pool, hot tub, exercise room, green space with walking trails and wildlife. Maintenance work orders are promptly answered for plumbing or electrical issues. However, other maintenance isn’t addressed. Every year, swallows nest in the eaves of the buildings and their poop runs down the windows of the apartments, which are never washed. The manager states they cannot disturb the birds when they are nesting with their young. Dryer lint and spider/cobwebs are so rarely swept down, that I only recall seeing a staff member half-heartedly sweeping twice in the two years I’ve lived in the apartment. Just don’t look above your head! Stains on the concrete stairs and other cosmetics were never addressed. Same stains for two years. Parking is assigned and garages are rented out on availability. Forget about finding guest parking. It’s non-existent. I would not rent here again. The value for the money just isn’t there. Another issue – Rents increased $ 75 each year with no regard to loyalty or longevity. This ownership can and will continue to raise rents. Don’t expect any exceptions.

The apartments were very comfortable and spacious. Loads of amenities(pool, rec center, walking trails) that I never explored, but I LOVED having the in-unit washer/dryer. Lots of air circulation in the apartment, and there was a nice breeze coming through on hot days. Assigned parking for residents, plus extra spaces for guests. Security patrols were fairly regular, and I never noticed issues with safety while I was living there. Mail delivery to the main building, and the main office collected packages for the residents.
