I’m Latino so I have just come to accept that you cannot expect friendly or good service at any Latin restaurants. I don’t know why. Usually thy tell you to just take a seat, take forever to take your order, take their time to bring out your food, and never return until it’s time to bring out your check. You can always count on a unhappy waitress. Usually I avoid dining in the restaurants and will just do take out. This morning I decided to suck it up and sit down. So happy I did. I was immediately greeted with a sincere smile. within under a minute someone came to offer me coffee, shortly after took my order, and it came out just as fast. all wth a smile. The waiter checked on me twice. I wanted to order an extra shot of espresso and just I turned my head to look for my waiter, the manager rushed to my table to ask me what he could do for me. The Manager checked on me another time and even helped out the waiter when he saw him getting a little busy. Now that is what I call service. Attentive, courteous, friendly, and prompt. I hope the other noches take lessons from this location. I’ll definitely start dining here more often. Oh that’s right, about the food. I had the chinchurria(intestines, yeah not your normal meal) over the refried beans topped with fried egg. It was tasty and well cooked. I did have to ask for another shot of espresso as my café con leche was a little weak(an anomaly).

Im so torn about my review because i like their food. My HUGE problem is the language barrier with the entire staff. For a restaurant that has several locations, i truly feel like there should be more english speaking servers! More than three occasions, ive been hung up on because they didnt understand me. I even went to the route of ordering online because of this inconvenience. They charge you a fee just for doing it this way. The last time I ordered online, someone from the restaurant called me but i missed their call. When I immediately called back, because they didn’t speak english, nobody could tell me why they called. I was told from a friend of mine that this place doesnt care about the english speakers because they receive more than enough customers who speak spanish and my business doesnt matter to them. That breaks my heart if thats the case, ill take my money elsewhere. Ive totally given up on this place. You get two stars ONLY because i loved your empanadas. Im going to miss them.

This used to be a dreadful generic American diner with very few customers, but a few years ago, Noches de Colombia gave it a total makeover. Now it’s a jumping, boisterous Latin restaurant that always seems to be full of people. The not so secret recipe for success is that this restaurant serves up handsome portions of Latin food at fair and affordable prices. It is a real standout sort of place in the vicinity, given the energy that the dining crowd brings. And this location does serve liquor, unlike some smaller Noches locations. As a relatively new restaurant, it is modern with lots of flat screen TVs. Recommend it as a place to dine with others given the lively environment. And yes, the food is very good, Latin comfort food and more.

Nothing against their food but a complaint on their customer service which is just as important as the food itself. I know being the only Asian in a Hispanic/Latino dominated restaurant garners attention but the last two times I have eaten here I have received the worst service and fakest gestures of what you would describe as a waiter. Not only do they ignore my table for over a elongated period time once we have been seated, but also take their sweet sweet time to bring out anything my table orders. I understand this establishment is extremely busy on the weekends but when you constantly notice other tables around us being fed, eaten and leave before your table even gets their entrees; excluding the fact we were seated before them, something doesn’t add up. Again, nothing bad to say of their food. Reasonable price and big portion, but as far as feeling welcomed and non discriminated against this is an establishment that will no longer receive my business.

I use to come here often as food and drinks are good and it’s close to my home. After my last visit I will not be returning.

Ahhhh Noches, my Colombian food haven. I have been coming to this casual establishment ever since it opened. Easy to find and they have a small parking lot. No parking space? Don’t worry because there are actually other places to park in this area. As always, to start I go for the meat empanadas… absolutely delicious. if I could sit there and eat those things all day I easily would. However, I know to savor every bite because I HAVe to also leave room for dinner! My usual… Bandeja Paisa– big enough to split between two people and you still will probably bring home leftovers because it’s HUGE. It is beyond delicious – I will eat that dish until there is no room left in my stomach… it will leave you in the ultimate food coma but sooooo worth it. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The service was not exactly on point the last time I came here with my boyfriend and my friend but that’s not usually the norm for this place. This particular location also has a liquor license… I decided to try a small pitcher of their red sangria which was not up to par with my sangria expectations. Next time, I’ll probably just stick to beer. However, it’s all good Noches — your delicious food can not be beat! I still love you… always have and always will!

This place has great food for great prices. Because it’s in New Jersey it’s definitely cheaper than pollo Mario in Jackson heights but the service can be frustrating to deal with. You can easily be sitting down for ten minutes without someone taking your order. And then to wait for the food/or dessert is another story. I had the pechuga empanizada(breaded chicken breast) and it was absolutely tasty. I enjoyed it. The habichuelas could have been seasoned better because they had this soap water taste that stayed on your tongue. I had the volcán chocolate(chocolate volcano) which is a dense chocolate warm cake with ice cream on top. It was pretty tasty but super sweet. I wanted there to be more depth in the chocolate part of the dessert. However if you’re in north Bergen, this is the place to go to for good Colombian eats.

Great food. I had steak salad and the steak was moist and very full of flavor. The salad was fresh. I had a red sangria that was crisp and cold and just perfect. Price was good and service was very attentive. I I’ll b coming back here.

Amazing spot for some homey Colombian eats. I thought that this was the same chain as Noches de Colombia in Fairview, but I was wrong. This spot is 100x better, no joke. They have identical items on the menu, but the options are more extensive. First off, there is a full bar! The pineapple mojito was on the weak side but it was refreshingly fruity. This place does not serve you ghetto styrofoam cups like the other spot, so kudos for that. Also, I never really enjoyed dining at Noches de Colombia bc my friends and I are usually the only non-hispanics there, and they def do not make you feel welcome. People would stare, service wasn’t great or attentive, and we just felt out of place. But here, everyone minded their own business and the waitress was very sweet. Will def be returning. The portions here are OUTRAGEOUS. The appetizer was filled with bites of perfection(chicharrones, Colombian sausage, yucca fries, mini empanadas), and the green hot sauce is like crack. So fresh. My bro and I both had pork + chicken & shrimp in the wine cream sauce, and I thought it was a bit too heavy but he loved it. Meats were tender, rice was fluffy, and the maduros were caramelized beautifully. Def had enough leftover for a big snack = good bang for the buck($ 12/entrée to be exact). They also deliver to Palpark. SCORE! Will come back again and again.

This place sucks! If you want to get good service you have to either 1, know the owner or 2, be straight out of Colombia. every single time. Never fails. They get Delivery order WRONG! NEVERFAILS! Service sucks! Not that theyre rude, just careless. I ordered 10 empanadas and I specifically told them not to forget the spicy sauce. Guess what? They forgot the spicy sauce. Luckily for me I live down the block. I had to walk all the way back and then they look at me like im petty. .smh I just cant.

Very Disappointed. I don’t know w else to say, and the Manager, Just Smiling, and by the way, the person who charged to me she wasn’t my server. That’s why I leave to you a 2dls Tip on a 32dls chk, because as a customer, I didn’t know that on this restaurant a soonest you walk in side, the customer has a Job! To find out who is your server first and before your seat, other wise… equals to a Very Bad experience

This place is great. Hugh portions. Ordered the Bandeja Paisa and the skirt steak. They were both very tasty. I was a little disappointed with the wait staff. They didn’t mentioned that the meal came with a salad so we ordered their salad and when the meal came, we had a huge salad that we ordered and 2 side salads. The place was crowded on a Saturday early dinner. Waited 45 mins but it was worth it. Would come back again.

Just moved to the area and decided to give this place a try for lunch one day with my family visiting me. We came in right around 1 pm and it was certainly crowded, but we found a parking spot and were seated right away. Our waitress was super helpful, even to my brother and father who don’t speak any Spanish at all! We started with fried calamari and empanadas, and then I ordered just chicharon with rice as my main dish(note, not on the menu but they were happy to accomodate) The empanadas and calamari was delicious! My meal was great as well, but I think next time we will either order just appetizers or just a meal-the portions are so large that we were stuffed and could not finish our lunches. Bonus was that we got to take home delicious food to have for lunch the next day! Overall a nice friendly place with huge portions of good food for amazingly low prices-will be back often!

The food here is GREAT! Colombian flavor and large portions. We ordered the mini empanadas to start they were tiny and delicious filled with meat and potatoes. I ordered mar y tierra, churrasco was cooked as ordered and the shrimps were large. I love the tostones here– huge enough to make a sandwich with them! My partner ordered the pollo saltado this was amazing and so big you could share. To finish we had a cholado if you don’t know what it is; its like a drink and a sweet fruit salad that you definitely should try– shredded ice with juice, condensed milk, mixed fruit, and shredded coconut. Food was awesome and the place was packed, minus a star for a little slow service. I’ll be back though… Great prices and I love that there menu is full of pictures.

I’ve probably been coming to this particular noches for quite some time now since it provides parking(not a big parking lot) but luckily I’ve always found a spot. This particular time the service was more then great! As soon as we sat down our friendly waitress greeted us, since we were rushing we already had in mind what we wanted to order, we quickly told her what we each wanted and In less then 6 minutes our food was delivered to our table. Thinking it was going to take a long time since we ordered carne asada but we were totally wrong. This place does tend to get pretty packed when there’s a soccer game going on but other then that I would definitely recommend coming here for a great Colombian meal whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner. For what they serve their prices are more then reasonable and their bathrooms are always clean. I Will definitely be coming back here as always
