My new fave nail salon. The prices are great and the staff is friendly and takes good care of you.

horrible horrible horrible. I payed $ 40 and my nails broke three days later. 4 nails and when I went to get them fixed they told me I can’t Cuz I have no appointment. but the first time I went I didn’t have no fukin appointment. so here I am with 4broken nails forced to do nothing about it DO NOT GO HERE. the Mexican lady doesn’t have a license and the chinese old lady can’t c for shit

I deal with people everyday and I know not everyone understands customer service like I do.
My story with Kim’s nails started with an interaction with a woman who was quieter than a church mouse. Asked her questions and opinions and not one peep came out of her. Weird. At one point, I thought, perhaps I’ll talk to her in Spanish to make her more comfortable. This didn’t work either.
As a I sat down on the pedicure chair I started to analyze how my feet were being cleaned. I asked her nicely to please further clean my cuticles. I was given a shrug and was not satisfied at all with the end finish. With all honesty, the hot stone massage was the only thing that made my feet feel happy.
Let’s continue, before adding the base coat for gel color, I informed her I had changed my mind and wanted to go with a regular color instead. This is where she ROARED! I was shocked. Not only because something actually came out of her but because she was upset I changed my mind. Her body language and tone was not professional. Who cares if your customer changes her mind? Don’t you? You think I am the only one who would do this to you? No. I won’t be your last either.
At the end, I get what I paid for. Uneven coating of color on nail bed. Barely cleaned off the extra nail polish on my nail beds
No real sign of a fresh clean feet. Bad customer service. All for $ 15.
This is the first and last time for me.

Finding a suitable nail salon that has great service, friendly staff, and convenient hours can be tricky. After moving from Hoboken (capital city for nail salons) to North Bergen I was on the search for the perfect salon that I could feel comfortable and come out with a fresh mani and pedi. Long and behold I have succeeded!
This was my second time going to Kim’s and I felt just as satisfied as I did the first time. It is a small location but extremely homie. The staff including the owner are all friendly. For the duration of time I was there we all (including the staff and other customers) took part in group conversations. It felt like a true «girl time» moment.
Josephina provided me with my services the first time and also today. She is the best! I ended up getting the same gel manicure she was wearing on her own nails because it was so pretty.
The biggest perk probably is the price. I was so used to spending $ 35 just for a gel manicure that my jaw dropped when I spent only $ 40 for a gel mani and pedi! Talk about a sweet deal.
Kim’s Nails is definitely my go to nail salon and I recommend it for all. I am looking forward to going back in 2 – 3 weeks.

I am a truck driver and have had my nails done all over the US. This place by far was the best I ever encountered. I had the uva gel nails done and they were absolutely gorgeous. Josephine did an excellent job and was super friendly. As I had my nails done I talked with her and the owner. The whole staff was very nice and made me feel I was at home. Very nice and clean. Kim gave me a complimentary hand lotion when I left. I will definitely be back

Friendly staff, not too crowded, clean and perfectly done gel mani & regular pedi. All for $ 40. I can’t complain at all. Came here while getting the car fixed at Firestone a few blocks after using the Unilocal app to find the nearest nail salon. Small and cozy little business. Josephine did my gel mani and Florie did my pedi. Check them out!

This place is excellent!!! Best pedicure I have ever had!!!

Came to this little unknown spot with a friend for a mani/​pedi combo… $ 20! I believe it was a Thursday and what a bargain. They were friendly, clean, and thorough. One of the girls that does the pedicures is a little better than the other but for the price it’s still great. I take off a star for their color selection. The monotony was a little boring, sooooo many colors that look the same! I like bright colors and being daring sometimes, but if you like neutrals, pinks, nudes, reds, etc. you’ll be happy. Not bad, thanks Kim!
