I stopped in for my lunch break to grab a sandwich and coffee, and wow is all I can say! The sandwich was delicious, and actually very healthy(beef sandwich on Daves killer bread) and the coffee was wonderful as well. The owner is one of the sweetest old ladies I’ve ever met in my life, I was blown away by the compassion that she has for her business and her customers. I will be returning any chance I get.

Personalized sweet service and a ginormous sandwich. Ask her how she makes the scrambled eggs. :) Definitely take a moment to exchange glances with the willow and meditate on the creek.

This place was a nice surprise for lunch in an area where there aren’t too many places to go to. Fair warning, if you are in a hurry, this is probably not going to be the best place(maybe if you call your order in). However, wow what a sandwich! I think the best way to describe it is if you are going to your grandmother’s house and she is making you a sandwich with a ton of fresh ingredients and just give you great satisfaction as you eat it. Barb very much focused on attention to detail. It took about 25 minutes for our sandwich during an unbusy time, however when it came out it was fantastic! Highly recommended. I had a ham sandwich on a croissant bun. She doesn’t really go into what’s in it, but just go with it. it’s a big sandwich so if you aren’t super hungry you can easily split it between a friend.

Great surprise in Fairview, Oregon. I enjoyed a Roast Beef sandwich and Italian Soda during lunch hour. The food is very fresh and appealing. Great flavors. Enjoyed the historical information and tour of the establishment. Beautiful setting in an unexpected location. Take your time enjoy your coffee. I would highly recommend this small family business. If you are interested in real estate they also share the same building. Enjoy :)

I was subbing at Fairview elementary and came here for lunch. The little old lady was super nice and the food was delicious, but it’s maybe not the best place to go when you only have half an hour for lunch. I ended up being late getting back and couldn’t eat my sandwich until I got off work. It was delicious, though, and so was the smoothie!

Wife and I had a leisurely day so after reading some reviews we decided to stop by here for a sandwich. Barb, the owner is an absolute gem; a very genuine person and so pleasant. Boy, does she make some killer sandwiches! I had the Mt Hood on Dave’s Killer Bread, it was absolutely amazing and literally too tall to get my mouth around it! Wife had the Combo on a croissant, and again it was humongous and delicious! We have half of each left over for dinner tonight and looking forward to it. Prices are more than reasonable for what you get. She also showed us the creek running through the back and it is a very pleasant place to sit and eat if you are so inclined. This is a place to stop in on leisure and take your time. It will be well worth it.

This review is purely based on the charm of the matron behind the counter. I stopped in to this little off the street café because I forgot a fork for lunch and in the 10 mins I spent, Barb offered me a sample of her raspberry smoothie(delicious!) for sample Tuesday’s(I think she just made that up :)), brought me round back to check out the amazing view of a bubbling little creek, and told me the story(with picture) of the guardian of the creek. The willow tree next to the creek has a face in the bark and he’s there to oversee who comes and goes. Doesn’t get better or more welcoming than this! I’ll make sure to stop in next time I’m in the area!

The fair maiden behind the counter constructed one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Sandwich was made to order, breakfast or lunch style. The creek running out back is the ideal setting for a bob Ross style painting. Enjoy the ent tree.

We were out looking for RV’s and decided to get coffee and found this gem of a coffee café(and Realtor office). The owner is absolutely wonderful to talk to. Fantastic customer service and the Chai Tea & milkshake were fabulous!

I used to frequent there when I lived in Fairview. I absolutely LOVE the owner, Barb! Also loved their coffee! This is the place for coffee, NOTSTARBUCKS! !
