Wicked good custard and sundaes! What else is there to say? OH Yeah, «Puppy Cones», never heard of it? If you bring your dog with you, and he’s/she’s been a good boy, or girl, the workers will make a puppy cone for your dog, ABSOLUTELYFREE! How freaking cool is that! It’s exactly what it sounds like, a very small wafer cone with a small amount of custard, just perfect for a dog treat. Love it!

I occasionally frequent Sheridan’s! My absolute all time favorite is their mango dango! It consists of mangos, pecans, and cherries with vanilla frozen custard. I’ve tried a few of their other items and it’s not that great. As other reviews say, sometimes the custard can be runny but it’s a hit or miss. I’ve never had bad service here. I took one star off because the other day I had ordered a scoop of ice cream. Literally half of the size of a baseball for 2 $. If I would of known it was that small and expensive I would of pass or asked for 2 scoops considering it was a few cents extra. Most places that serve one scoop of ice cream is usually a lot but not this place.

So I’m not a fan of custard, never even heard of it until I moved here. I much prefer the creamy ice cream, but if you must custard I like this the best. It is pretty good. They have generous portions and they go all out with the toppings, you get some in each bite which is great. Plus they’re Super friendly.

I used to live in Fairview Heights and remember always enjoying a walk to this place for some frozen custard. I recently re-visited the place and quickly remembered why i had fell in love with it in the first place… the custard is so creamy and delicious I swear it could be better than Ted Drewes… could be. I love getting the custard with bananas, strawberries & chocolate fudge… mmmmm… OH and they even have mini ice cream cones for your pooch!

It is frozen custard. It is not fancy, it is not Ted Drewes but it works. If you live in O’Fallon/Belleville area and you want some custard, hit this place up. It is one of our summer evening outing locations for the kids.

ice cream is pretty good, only issue is it melts too fast. and they have terrible customer service esp in the drive through. customer service is kinda of a hit or miss so i would recommend only for the frozen custard :) its kinda pricey but that is standard for any stand alone ice cream shop

Nothing concrete here. We ordered a large grasshopper and it was runny throughout. I don’t know, if they misjudged business and ran out of custard or what. Not what i was a hoping for. I had to bring it home and freeze it for 30 minutes. What a let down.

I went here a few years ago and got ticked off and have not went back til tuesday when i took my nephew. I got the chocolate ice cream with pineapple. it was good but it is not good enough for my to trek all the way to Fairview Heights, the 1st gate of hell in my book. if you want whipped cream or shell nuts on your sundae be prepared to shell out 70 cents. just ok. the first time the service was rude. this time the service was ok. the poor girl was by herself with roughly 6 people to wait on.

We love Sheridan’s! I get the Mt. Rushmore with a chocolate chips added instead of gram crackers. Yummy! It’s a treat! *updated 4÷22÷2010 * Ok the one in IL is better with customer service though. We love the ice cream, which is what keeps us coming back but the customer service at the one in Chesterfield isn’t great. Each time we have gone there they have been confused and slightly rude. There was one time I was ordering and there was silence. I asked if the lady was still there. She said I was just going to fast. Sounded like she got upset and just didn’t respond! So I slowed down, she was still rude. I didn’t know what was going to make this girl happy. We get to the window and they seemed really confused. There were about 3 employees rushing around. One guy came to the window to hand me the ice cream. I hadn’t paid yet so he said, «Oh I didn’t know she didn’t charge you yet.» He takes the card and puts it next to the register. I made the mistake of turning my head and didn’t watch to see if he swiped it. Silly me! Well another employee comes to the window and tells me the total. I pointed to the card on the register. She asked if I paid. I said I didn’t know if he swiped it. She got mad at me for that answer. Then another employee came and added to the confusion! Confused yet? lol so was I at the time! The previous employee tells the other one, «She said she hasn’t paid yet.» I said no, I said I didn’t know if he swiped it yet. All they had to do is look to see what the receipt said that was on the machine. They hadn’t given someone their receipt. They were just very rude and confused. We finally got our order and left. I almost swore off Sheridan’s that night. The following visits weren’t that bad but they weren’t good either. The frozen custard is good but the customer service is not!

Sheridan’s was a-ok. We stopped a got a quart of vanlla to top of some homemade brownies. It was okay, not necessarily the best custard that I have ever had. They do have a drive in.

I used to go to Sheridan’s when my family & I would go for our weekend drives. Custards and toppings were always a treat for us from here. The prices were decent and service was always with a smile.

I was not impressed. Sheridan’s has a sizeable menu of concoctions of frozen custard with various goodies. Ted Drewes across the river sets the bar around these parts for how frozen custard should taste, and I have to say this place falls short. The consistency of the«custard» was way too creamy like ice cream, which caused it to melt quicker than I could eat it. And the chocolate/cherry mixed custard I ordered was surprisingly disappointing for a flavor you’d think would be difficult to screw up. When I visited it was midday on a weekday, and my friend and I were the only customers. Yet the service was slow and not particularly friendly. I will probably not return.
