No amount of stars is enough to describe how awesome the señorita breads are. The purple rice cake is pretty good too. A few of their other items are kind weird but it’s fun to try them. I like to bring a big box of señorita bread to work and everyone always has the same reaction. They look at it with suspicion, they ask, «what is it?» and I say, «Just try it» and they take one slow bite and get all big-eyed and smiley and say wow! Then we all keep eating and trying to analyze how to make them. The reviewer who said keep them in the trunk is right. If you try to drive with a box of these, it will be empty when you reach your destination.

Another reviewer here says you should just eat the señorita bread and don’t try to describe it. This is good advice; they’re sweet and savory and no words can encapsulate the euphoric experience of devouring these little guys. You need to go get a box for yourself. Just make sure to put your goods in the trunk on the drive home because once I ate 5 of these fluffy sweet buttery rolls before I’d even made it off the highway. P. S. I heard there are Starbread bakeries littered all over the Bay Area. Looking forward to checking out these locations too.

I haven’t even been to this one yet, but I moved to Fairfield in March and am very familiar with Starbread’s señorita bread from Sac. I am so excited this is close by, but this could also be very dangerous! YUM!!! Can’t wait to find it.

This is a good alternative for donuts. Señorita bread isn’t donuts but more like a bread to eat alone or with coffee.

First, it is not too difficult to find — — just keep your eye out as the signage is not great. But trust me the señorita bread is — — great that is. Especially hot out of the oven. It is so good, they sell it in bags of 5 pieces — — but let it be known that they will sell you it by the box — — 10, 20, 25, 50 — — just about any amount. Just go there and try it. They do have other stuff like pan de sal, empanada, cream cheese rolls. What I thought was very good was the garlic peanuts. They have it in cocktail nuts, Spanish nuts, and cashews. I stuck with the cocktail nuts and was not disappointed — — just like in the Philippines — — with garlic pieces and garlic skin included. Not too salty either. Enjoy.

I think Star Bread in Fairfield deserves five stars or more for their amazing Señorita bread!!! I’m very impressed by the softness and the taste of señorita bread its so unique and different. I was first introduced to the bread from some coworkers that I worked with at the Solano Mall before I had moved I wish I would’ve known about the bakery before I had moved out of the area. Wish there was a Star Bread Bakery where I live now. I come down here every so often to visit my 707 family & friends and to also to come to Star Bread to get their famous Señorita bread to take home with me, it’s my favorite it’s very yummy!!! It’s even better to have Señorita bread with coffee or tea!!!

I dream of the seniorita bread. It is everything a bread lover desires! My biggest regret is that I looked up how many calories are in one little itty bitty piece of heaven and MyfitnessPal estimates 300 calories per piece — 300CALORIES! UGH — why did I have to know that?! Still an excellent treat and you’ll be a big hit if you bring these to a party/potluck. I’ve tried their lumpias(offered occasionally) and those are delicious as well.

Visiting Fairfield for a wedding. Easy to find but it’s on a busy street and I had to deal with the early morning traffic. I immediately start questioning my judgment after this big white guy comes in after me and orders the box of Senoritas twice a big as the one I ordered. Did I do the right thing? Should I order another box? The box is handed to me and its piping hot! I get in my car and open the box and a puff of steamy sweet yumminess hits me in the face. As I pull one out, it’s glistening with butter and gooey sugar. Don’t get me wrong, it’s perfectly sweet. This is a MUST stop if you are anywhere near it. Now if we can just get one of these in San Diego.

I came in to get a couple boxes of bread for a party and one for me to just take home for the week since I do not live near any Starbread. So whenever I go visit fam in the 707, I stock up. The bread was fresh, tasty, and excellent. But! Something weird happened. There was a full try of what I thought was Turon on the counter. The sign right below it said«turnon 0.50cents» I asked the gentlemen behind the counter«Can I also have 8 Turons please?» He put it in a bag and didn’t say a word. I got to my Moms, told her it was Turon because it’s what she’s been craving — and it was beef and veggie lumpia. Oops! I wish the guy told me it wasn’t Turon. It’s ok. I’m not mad. Next time I’ll double check. Anyway! The bread was awesome! The lumpia was just ok. My kids like to eat the seniorita bread with laughing cow cheese.

Five stars is for the only thing I’ve ever eaten from Starbread, and that’s the«Seniorita Bread.» Wow. Nothing beats a hot box of Seniorita breads. Sweet, buttery, chewy and sooooooo good.
