Don’t know what some of these complainers have on their minds… This place is a gem! Wanna try something? Get the PLATTER! The Lombardi’s PLATTER. Or the Pizza… ANYPIZZA! Beer… plenty! EVERY beer in WORLD… No, but there are great selections. You shouldn’t have ANY problem finding one that works. The bolognese is also really worth a shot. Saturdays are pretty busy. Sunday is much more relaxing. Lombardi’s is definitely someplace you should try.

Went there this weekend with my family. We had the lombardi’s platter(the cheese was great!), my husband had the spicy burger and myself and our uncle had the steak. All of our food was really good and was cooked perfectly. Our server Janet was very nice & helpful! Sangria was good too.

Friends raved about their pizza, I found it to be a little dry and chard(not in a good way). Flavors are very good, so I would try it again, but not on my list of must do’s.

Never again! Bleah! They actually charged me $ 3 for a glass of water. My husband and I took my friend, who is recovering from a stroke with us. They insisted on seating us at the farthest table they could find, in the back in a half empty restaurant. Then the waiter, a guy in his 70’s or so ignored all of us for most of the meal and made comments to us about how he lived in the US for 48 years and hadn’t gotten fired yet but wanted to, just to see what that was like. We finally had to go looking for the waiter to get our check and the hostess came over and kind of tossed it on our table. I’d never eat here again. We got burgers, beer and fettucine alfredo that my husband says he «deeply regrets ordering.» Save your cash!

Stopped in for lunch. Great place. Good selection of craft brews on tap. Chicken parm was great. Their sauce is wonderful. Mussels were good too. Service was outstanding from the new bartender Amy. Staff and owner were all friendly and helpful. This is now my go to place when in the area

Its an early Saturday night for us ladies(around 6pm), my friends and I are shopped out and we don’t feel like cooking or going to sit at a noisy restaurant. We all agree on ordering some thin crust pizzas and a few apps. Lombardis! Great, we look at their website, and they now advertise that the FAIRFIELD location ISNOWDELIVERING! That’s so great, not only because we were tired, but because the takeout there is not setup well! There’s no take out counter. A poor attitude server has to give you a ‘ticket’ to take to the bar to pay(overpriced may I add) etc etc… So anyways, I call to place the order, an older woman answers the phone, I ask to confirm that they are doing delivery(they have not done delivery in the past), she responds to me that they do not do deliver and to call ‘Competitor’ half a mile down the road. So I ever so politely(more so out of shock from her response) responded that if I wanted to order from the ‘Competitor’ I would have called them. Wow, What kind of place tells you to call another restaurant?! That’s quality-HA! Guess what… I happily called the Competitor pizzeria… And we enjoyed our food(as always). And now I remember why they are on my ‘favorites’ speed dial list. Lombardis Stinks!

Solid Italian and bar. Good wait staff, casual vibe. Great thin crust pizza and sandwiches. Good place to watch a game or to meet up with friends.

This is the quintessential italian American place. It reminds me of restaurants I went to with my family in NYC in the 70s. The food is fabulous and as close to home cooking you will get. Try the Lombardi ’ s platter with a nice glass of wine and you will be back.

Lombardi platter used to be great now long hots cut into little pieces can’t find them and more regular broccoli then broccoli rabe, potatoes now have no taste. Place is going downhill. Also they advertise happy hour with pictures of drinks and when you get there I was told they only have $ 3 glasses of beer or wine NOFOOD. What kind of happy hour is that. Place was empty now I know why. When staff outnumbers customers you have a problem

What is this place? No one to greet me at the door, mgr walking around in a mini skirt, staff is older and bitter. Food was cold, service was slow. I would keep driving by to the next restaurant.

Long hot Italian peppers oreganato’. Mammia! Takes you to a whole new level of great Italian meals. Last night’s special, comprised of Al’s favorites was stellar. All tables were raving about this creation. Always memorable cuisine at Lombardi’s.

Love the Caprese salad normally but it had too many onions and too much dressing today. The homemade sausage is always tops in the sausage with peppers and onion sandwich.

Pizza is pretty good, not great. Food otherwise is decent hence the three star rating. The place is always empty and the service stinks. It’s borderline awkward in here because of the people that work here and that disinterest in quality of service. The bartender I had tonight… not my favorite human.

First time here. Not tried the food but what I see around me looks tempting and good. Place seems family friendly and quiet and sober. Plenty of TVs at the bar with a wide choices playing on them. Bar tender friendly and effective. I see a fireplace burning close by and it seems a classic neighborhood bar. Would love to try their food and update this review. The pizza next to me looks very well prepared and the menu offers a wide variety.

As sports bar’s go this one falls somewhere in the middle of the pack. A varied room layout with lots of TV’s some are outdated and picture quality is not very good. Depending on the night of the week it can be ridiculously crowded to empty. We visited this past weekend mid day and we were the only persons in the place and I say that literally. Lexi behind the bar took care of us and we kept it simple. Couple of beers and a house made or bottled Root Beer. Items consumed second time I’ve had the pizza and it simply just doesn’t get it done. As North Jersey goes this is far below many other options in the area. Their sandwiches are always very good and their Veal Parm was no exception. Good quality veal with very nice Marinara Sauce. Their Grilled Chicken Caesar was loaded with chicken and dressing and fresh. Pretty much this goes for all of their food its good it simply doesn’t get the extra marks. All and all it’s ok for a quick bite, Lexi behind the bar is a sweatheart but many other options in the area

Pizza pizza pizza! That is there staple and always will be. Just did some renovations so looking forward to the layout. Bartenders are attentive and great with suggestions. The Lombards app is also a must try you will not be disappointed!

I was here at the Fairfield location for a surprise party for one of my fiancée’s good friends a few weeks back. Before the party started, the staff opened up the side bar for all of us to hang out at while we waited. It turned out to be a great night. While we didn’t eat there that night, as you can read from the rest of the reviews, the pizza is above average. Drinks are cheap, staff is nice and it’s a great spot to bring the whole family.

Came here 2Xs — once with family & friends and the next time with the family. Had the pizza both times. Stand out pie is the bruschetta pie — incredibly tasty, crispy crust, couldn’t stop eating it(soooo soooo good). Be advised that eating the bruschetta, with its onions and garlic will ward off your wife, women, friends or family BUT who cares when something tastes this good. Other pies tries were fair, not great, but the kids liked them. Crust is tasty on all pies. The calamari appetizer was fine, sauce a little bland(remediated with crushed red pepper). On tap beer selection is pretty limited(aka«poor»). I opted for a Hoegaarden, which was the most exotic selection they had on tap. Possibly their regular clientele likes the existing beer selection, I’m not a huge fan. A portion of the dining room was remodeled — they removed a portion of the bar, added some booths and a small gas fireplace, all pluses. Service here during both visits was good. The wait staff is very friendly and prompt and offered us a $ 10 coupon for purchases over $ 50. I like this place for a low-key, informal dinner or hang out with friends or family. Not a stand out, but would return to give it another try.

We love to go here with the family on Sundays. Everything on the menu is good. We especially like the Lombardi platter with extra hot peppers. Try the white sangria. Btw the wait staff if great.
