In general I am satisfied with this dry cleaners and you can’t beat the price. BUT, I have a note on my account that states«crease all pants» and about every third time I bring in pants at least one pair comes back uncreased. Shorty, I’m heading over there to get 2 pairs of pants repressed. Just hop I don’t end up with permanent odd creases in the clothing.

Got my blazers, dress, and coats dry cleaned. It had sort of a musty old smell to all my clothes when I got them back. I wasted my money coming here because not only did my clothes stink but I had a few stains on my clothes that if you go to a good dry cleaning place they get the stains out for you. This place is terrible! My clothes stink cause of it!!!

This place is absolutely terrible. I gave them many chances to improve but the bottom line is that my clothes were not cleaned and were not pressed on repeated occasions. Also I hated that they put the dry cleaning tag through the actual fabric of the clothing instead of on the tags that were on the clothing, thus damaging the fabric. They finally stopped doing this on my suit jackets but continued to do it on pants. The reduced price is just not worth the horrible quality. I am going back to my old dry cleaners that I was perfectly happy with even though they are twice the cost. I guess you get what you pay for.

WORSTDRYCLEANEREVER!!! Zips at Fairfax Corner lost my daughter’s $ 448BCBG prom dress three days before prom!!! She went to pick it up 5 days before and they told her they could not find it(took it in to get altered). I called 6 times and never got a return phone call from manager or owner(how hard is it to pick up the phone). She went by the store the following two nights, and her dad went back and they did nothing to find it!!! Finally a week later they gave us the money for the dress, however finding a new prom dress 5 hours before prom is not fun! Some one out there is wearing a nice dress and Zips never said sorry. I will never go back there again and recommend others to stay away if you do not want to loose your clothing. Like another reviewer, I wish I could give it no stars. Had someone just called me back and been proactive, took responsibility and owned the mistake, this would not have been so bad of a circumstance. I also emailed and called corporate 4 times and no one responded to me. If you go to the website, it is difficult to find customer service point of contact. Makes me think from all of this that they do not value customer service.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLEQUALITYOFSERVICE!!! I dropped three items before 9am and they promised to get it cleaned by 5pm same day. I picked up the items five days later. When I checked them, I saw the items were cleaned but were not ironed. Also, they inserted pins into my skirt to hang it on. Of course, when I removed those pins, there were some large wholes left on the skirt. HORRIBLE!!! Also, I do not understand why they charge money in advance if they do not perform their job well. I will never come back to this location!

Let me start with receiving a dress that didn’t belong to me. I tried to explain the dress wasn’t mine but it seemed to get lost in translation at first. Our ticket said 22 items and yet we had 23. We weren’t impressed with the basic stain removal services. Specifically asked for additional attention to be given to a few shirts. The one shirt looked as if no stain removal treatment had been done. I am not talking about deep stains. The cash only is a pain but we could live with.

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before but I’m writing this first one because I had the worst customer service experience of my life. I wish I could give this place no stars, but I must give it at least one and I hope it brings down this cleaner’s Unilocal rating. I was incredibly insulted by the employee(I’m pretty sure it was the manager) and will never go back here. I took a tie to be dry cleaned because it had a spot on it. I went to pick it up on a Wednesday afternoon and noticed that the spot was still there and two major creases had been ironed into the tie as it was being dry cleaned. I asked the employee to fix it– he apologized and said it would be. No problems here. On Friday morning on my way to work I went to pick it up again. When I got the tie, the stain was still there, the creases were still there and there was a pull in the fabric of the time. It was basically destroyed. I got back into the line(there was someone else being helped) and walked up to a different employee. I showed him when happened and explained that it was my second time attempting to pick up the tie. I asked him if he could fix it and I told him I wanted my money back. He grumbled a bit but whatever. He had me sign a receipt to get a refund(a whole $ 2) and I asked him at that time if it could be fixed. He said he’d try BUTTHEN said to me «How do I know you’re not going to keep coming back here, bring this tie and demand your money back?». I responded«Are you accusing me of plotting to steal $ 2 from you?». He stared at me and said«Yes I am». At that point, I became livid. I got my money back(out of principle), took the tie and said that although I go to this cleaners frequently, I’ll never go back. Little does this employee know(or care apparently) but my job(lawyer) requires me to wear a suit everyday and I need to get those suits dry cleaned. I also work with many people who wear suits everyday and need to get those suits dry cleaned. This ZIPS is around the corner from my office. This place just lost a TON of business because I’ve told everyone about this experience. Although it was irritating, I don’t really care that this place destroyed my tie. The reason I’m writing this terrible review is because the employee there unbelievably accused me of conspiring to steal from him and spoke to me in quite possibly the most insulting way possible.

We have had pretty good experiences with this location. We have been ZIPS customers for a few years now, and this is my favorite location in the area. It is much easier to get in and out of compared to the other Fairfax location down the road. They have done dry cleaned and laundered both men’s and women’s garments. We have had them alter basic items like hemming and patching holes in sleeves. They also have saved us a bundle by converting shirts with elbow rips into short sleeve button ups. There process seems to be tough on buttons. We have often had broken buttons after getting items back, but they have also been very quick to repair them at no cost when asked.
