Upon entering you are often told to «make yourself at home» and this little spot really does the job of such. A very comfortable and welcoming environment, Tracy and all other staff members are incredibly kind and attentive. This is a place you can come for excellent drinks and snacks or to just hang out with some good people. Delish teas and elixirs, the moonshine is amazing and does wonders for your energy/mood. I am also a huge fan of the hummus and pita. Deff check this place out

Brilliant! A delicious menu filled with elixirs ranging from exquisite teas and amazing herbal concoctions to kava and(my personal favorite) the spicy chocolate lovah! The bone broth bar is also an inspiration… I recommend the Moroccan Sidecar or the Frenet Blanca. No alcohol, just warm healing broth with amazing spice accoutrements, sea salt and lemon wedges. Treat your body right. Tracy and the rest of the crew are knowledgeable and attentive… be ready to take your time. This is an experience not a drive through. Highly recommended!

Tracy is the best. This place is such a labor of love for her and it is so obviously apparent in everything that’s going on in there. Try to come on a sleepy afternoon when it’s empty and you have the place to yourself. She will absolutely just come and sit with you and turn a cup of tea into a complete experience. I’m not even a tea person, and this is easily my favorite place in Fairfax.

Fine tea, both traditional and herbal infusions. Wide selection of white, green, oolong, pu-erh. Kava, too, and chocolate drinks. A warm and welcoming place. Music/storytelling/performance many evenings

Before you read this review you should know that I have a long history of waitressing and I have a lot of understanding and patience with small mess ups since I remember how difficult some costumers could be. I almost never write negative reviews. With that being said, I must say that I received the worst, unprofessional service I have ever received in my life here. I was first very pleasantly surprised when I walked into the café, with 11 girlfriends, because of the nice, cozy furniture and décor. I sat down and as the waitress took our order I was polite, even complimented her T-shirt from my favorite movie and I simply ordered the 80% hot cocoa — which two of my girlfriends also ordered. Even though we were the only guests that night it took about 25 min to get the cocoa. When I looked over to see what was going on our waiter had stopped working on our drinks and had casually started talking to a man in the café. When they finally arrived one of them was clearly way darker and thicker than the other two. It was as though they didn’t have enough chocolate for the last two cups and decided to split a regular amount of chocolate for one into two cups and that’s why our cups had half the color and thickness than our friends. Also, they were all cold even though the description said: rich, thick drinkable hot chocolate”. I politely said: «sorry but we all ordered the same cocoa. 80%? «I assumed she got us the 50% cocoa by accident. The waiter: «yes these are all the same. « Me: «no but this one is not the same?» She stopped for a moment and then said: «maybe someone accidentally put more chocolate in that machine. « Then she left. It was only her and another lady working there that night. After tasting all of the drinks it was clear that this must be a mistake and clearly it cannot be half of the amount of chocolate in the«same» drinks. I decided to ask her again. I wait for her to finish taking care of the rest of our groups payment. After each person handles her the bills she says«I can keep this? I can keep this?» referring to the change she’s supposed to give them. After, I was very polite, calm and almost apologetic for asking her again: Me: «I am sorry… But which one is the 80% cocoa?» She, looking at me in disbelief: «they are all the 80%» Me: «No but this one is very different. It is thick and rich like the description?» She, looking irritated with me: «what do you waaant?!» Me, taken aback by the rudeness lower my tone and am even more apologetic that I asked: «I just thought they would be the same… but it’s ok, it’s fine…» She then quickly turns to my friend and takes care of the payment. Afterwards she turns to me and I ask: «sorry, how much is it again?» as I am reaching into my wallet to pay. She loudly sighs irritated, rolls her eyes at me and stomps back to the back. When she returns I give her the money and says«thanks but you can keep the change». She quickly goes back, get some change(not enough though) and sarcastically says: «no you can keep the change, I know you were not happy» as she slowly sides the change to me. I felt incredibly mistreated as a costumer. We clearly got completely different drinks — one was lost black and one was very light in color — and if she would just have replaced the bad one we wold have left fully satisfied. But instead she was incredibly rude and now I will never return.

I really like this place! Tracy creates a really nice space to just hang out, have some tea, and«be». I really enjoy the feel and energy of the place, and have told several of my friends about it.

The Wu Wei Tea Temple is a delight. The teas are from all over the world and if you ask, the owner knows just the right tea for you. There is something about the space that makes one feel comfortable. This is the business Fairfax and the County of Marin has needed for years,

Intimate atmosphere with yumminess galore! Divine tea and light snacks! The Lebne plate is just right with Zataar spices and olive oil with rice crackers!

Marin has seriously needed a Tea Temple like this. Reminiscent of the old one in Larkspur, once upon a time, but way better, cooler, hipper, and funner! Great selection of teas. Really bringing the community together with open mic Sundays! Great heart-vibe.Totally chill.

A very cosy, homy beautiful and welcoming place — so perfect for Fairfax community! The tea selection is big and taste is great! We even had a demo of chai preparation and kids could stir spices in a pot — so much fun! Service there has a place for improvement — we were waiting for our order(two kinds of tea and super simple sandwiches) for about 30 min and cleaned after ourselves. In general, that was a pleasant experience and probably I’ll go there again.

This is seriously my new favorite spot the Bay Area! Hella cool people, hella hot tea, hella hella nice. Sunday night is Expression Sessions with See and it’s literally the best open mic I’ve ever been to. Magic happens at Wu Wei!

A cool, laid back place to heal you body and mind. The tea temple is a fantastic tea bar. With a wide selection of herbal teas of different properties and effects this is certainly a fun place to try out either alone or with friends. Besides being a one time attraction the service and events will keep you interested in what is going on at the tea temple. Music and open mic nights are sure to entertain and the vibe is definitely very fairfax groovy goodness. I highly recommend the wu Wei tea temple as a fun attraction in fairfax and who knows. You might even want to come back for more.

This place is a lovely addition to Fairfax. Lots of delicious teas and divine sipping chocolate. A lovely place to meet a friend or enjoy some quiet time — either in the cushy lounge or beautiful back patio. Looks like there are some great events scheduled here.
