I come here all the time, it’s quick and painless. Nick, the owner, and his wife are really kind and funny, too. They have a very large selection of wines (liquor, beer and cider, too), including a large variety of refrigerated white and sparkling wines which I love! They also carry all the Fairfax treats, kombucha, matté, and clif bars, (etc.). Get to know your local business owners! These ones are great! Also, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, ask nick and he will probably offer to try carrying it in the shop.

Checked this place out one night when I needed a bottle of wine. It’s a pretty nice liquor store, with a fairly good selection of wines. The couple who own the store are really pleasant and helpful, and were happy to help me find some specific items.
I walked out with three bottles of wine, and found all were pretty mediocre. I would say that their wine stock has suffered from poor handling, there are older bottles, bottles stored upright, bottles exposed to too much light at some point. If you are getting something you know, like a common wine from a large producer, or a bottle of liquor, you will find it. Just check the year on any bottle of wine you pick up.

There was nothing else open food-wise when we rolled into Fairfax this Monday — so we turned to Quality Liquor.
We got charged two dollars for a spearmint pack of Orbit gum (I repeat… two dollars… booooooo) and ending up purchasing some downright delicious Nut-tricious medley for a pretty absurd price as well.
I appreciate that this place is open later than much of mellow Fairfax, but two dollars for Orbit gum — seems excessive.
