Popeyes Chicken and Biscuit

Ugh. Should have read the reviews before going. Chicken meal was tasteless, as were the biscuits but the cajun fries! Where was the CAJUN? We got just a slop of mushed up soggy regular old french fries with no seasoning whatsoever. The soggy beans with fake ham seasoning were so old we threw them away. Do they come out of a giant drum and occasionally get warmed up in the microwave?

It was a bad choice to go and eat there. Staffs are rude and impolite. Chat with customer when there was a line behind. I heard a little bit, and pretty sure it was nothing related to the food here. Besides that, we were trying to get only the chicken legs that we had in fair oaks mall, however, the staff told us we can not do it. Ok, I understand that’s the policy here, then the staff said to my friend: you always come here and I gave you only the chicken legs (which my friend only came here twice!), but you can not do it lot! My friend was shocked and did not say anything, then the staff said to me: probably you friend do not understand what I am talking about. That was so rude I have to say. Seriously, don’t come here. Once is enough!

This place was awful! I have been in their other branch in fairfax which was okey! But this place was a bad choice! The staffs were so rude And disrespectful, and one of them was nagging all the time,
We got a 8 piece because they couldn’t give us six pieces which is unreasonable.
And also when we left the place which was smelly and you couldn’t stay there and eat! We find out that we could get two 3pieces platter instead which could gave us 2 sides, drink… !! The cashier didn’t bother to help us with the menu!
Never go back there ! And would never be in pop eyes anymore ! :(

Food was good, average popeyes but this location leaves something to be desired. Had multiple things out such as fish, onion rings, cup tops and hot sauce. They don’t keep the napkins out. The staff, while nice doesn’t always know what is going on. Manager was apologetic but I hope they improve. The inside is small but clean.

The staff was bitter, disgusting, and un tasteful. The same could be said for their seemingly inedible chicken. Love that chicken from popeyes? More like loathe that chicken from popeyes. Not to mention they ran out of Shrimp, forks, and ketchup. This popeyes should be boarded up period.

Possibly the worst place that I’ve ever eaten in my life. Walked in expecting delicious fried food to satisfy my hunger needs. This is not what happened. The employees at cash register did not seem to take their jobs seriously enough when taking orders with their giggling and then when I go up to order a number 9 platter they say they’re «out of popcorn shrimp» which is one of the 5 actual foods on the menu. Disappointed I had to settle for a 5 piece chicken platter with Cajun Fries and mashed potatoes. When I finally get my food the amount of chicken on my bones was small and not high quality and due to the fact that they also managed to run out of forks I had to eat my mashed potatoes with a chicken bone. Needless to say the best part of my meal was my drink. My nightmare visit did not end at leaving the restaurant, when I got home I went to the bathroom and shat my brains out with uncomfortable stomach issues. Would not recommend anyone to eat here.

I think that I have been to other places that are better. They used to have a cool customizable drink machine but went back to the regular sofa fountain style. Chicken pieces especially the tenders seem smaller here. You have to ask if silverware, napkins, ketchup, or sauce. People wgo work here are nice though.

Recently been there twice as my wife loves Popeyes. I think an update/​upgrade is appropriate. Staffs are more attentive. Spicy chicken is good as before.

Nice Popeyes. Clean. Nice friendly staff. Offered me a drink while waiting. Food is always pretty fresh. I like this location.

Went to get food at 920pm and kids who work there are running around and refused to let me. And have me attitude. Sadddd

I go there when I visit the nearby Home Depot, and I like the franchise and the menu and the chicken, but this location has sort of strange and sometimes rude staff.
It must be owned by a middle eastern family because it is staffed almost completely by people of this background (Persian? Pakistani? Indian?) who seem related and speak to each other in a foreign language. Mind you, there’s nothing wrong with immigrants or non-​native speakers who communicate in their native language, but it’s rude when they are obviously talking trash about the customers right in front of them in their foreign language.
Whenever I order a special discount meal or use an online coupon, they seem to intentionally give the smallest pieces of chicken out of spite or resentment due to the fact that I’m getting a discount. Four out of five times the person taking orders is unpleasant and looks miserable and they never say thank you. Wish there were more Popeyes closer to where I live so I could avoid this one.

This place is fucking horrible, I came on 04÷27÷14, ordered shrimp popcorn and waited for the order after 10 minutes the cashier asks me if I made an order I was like wtf ofc I made an order u assholes thats why am waiting here (he saw me making the order) then after 5 more minutes they called me picked up my order and left! When I opened the box it was so little like holy shit! Those people r worst than McDonald’s cashiers! I love popeyes I would never ever come to the same location, definitely will go to a different locations. Never come here I advice u, the tables r dirty, they dont give a fuck about wiping the tables. Bullshit in bullshit

Of course you can’t go wrong with Popeyes, bit I’m writing a review because mr hameed was the nicest guy. Best service at a fast food restaurant I’ve ever received. Keep it up guys!!!

First of all, the service here is really ridiculously bad. I ordered a combo meal with mashed potatoes and cajun rice as sides but I asked them to include a side of cajun fries as well after my order came out. The guy gets pissed off because he thinks I mistakenly ordered the rice instead fries on my first order and proceeds to take out my box of chicken, throw fries in and take out my rice like a kid having a tantrum. The whole time I’m trying to explain to him I wanted both and was going to pay for the fries as well but he’s too busy expressing his annoyance at my supposedly «wrong» order. After he’s changed everything out of my bag, I explain to him again that I want both and I’ll pay for the fries now. He shouts at the cashier to ring me up and gives me a weak apology saying he misunderstood, ok but what about apologizing for your rude behavior? It seems like this Popeyes is privately owned, seeing the ethnicity of the employees. Hope they learn that its not just about the food and they really need to learn some proper customer service. Even though I crave Popeyes like crack, I won’t be giving that location any of my money if I get treated like crap for no reason at all. I’ll drive farther to another Popeyes to receive the respect and attention I expect at any properly run establishment.
Second, the food at this Popeyes wasn’t that great either, chicken was ok but fries were soggy and not enough gravy on my mashed potatoes.

This is worse than any mall or university popeyes. The freestyle machine is usually out of half the base sodas and at least two flavors, the chicken always seems medium-​rare, and on my last trip one of the strips had a giant tendon in it lengthwise making it inedible. They are stingy with sauce, utensils, napkins, and the inside is cramped. Go to Vienna or Annandale if you’d like a nice Popeyes experience in central Fairfax.

The smallest popeyes i’ve been to. very inefficient staff of which some are unfriendly. they put the napkins behind the utensil tray. why not just put them out where customers can grab them easily?
wish there was another popeyes near by but this is the closest one.

Every time I come here my order gets screwed up and there is one cashier who always forgets something in my order. Also I am always overcharged when using a coupon when that’s the first thing I hand to them. Seriously?!
If Popeyes wasn’t a chain I seriously wouldn’t come back but it’s he closest Popeyes in the area

Everyone and their momma’s know I love me some Louisiana-​style fried chicken, which means I love Popeyes. However, maybe I“m crazy, but this Popeyes just doesn’t taste as «southern» as the others…
Don’t get me wrong. I’ll never say «no» to a suggestion to go to Popeyes, but this location’s chicken somehow (I know, it comes from the same pre-​fabricated industrial mixers) tastes a little bland. The mashed potatoes were fine, but they follow the «two scoops rule» (the large container is never topped off). FInally, the rice I had here was a little bit mushy… like it’s been in the warming tray all day.
On the bright side, the service was spectacular and the place was imppecably clean. I also love the new fandangled soda machine… nice touch! I was a little sad that for a place that seats ~30 people, I was the only one there at dinner time.
They’ve been open less than a year, so I’ll definitely give them a second chance!
