Our dog Puddles is a LUCKY DOG to have Nora in her life! And we are very fortunate to have found such a competent professional. We would highly recommend Nora!

Agree with these posts. Nora is terrific with our dog and so easy to work with in coordinating calendars and schedules. She is totally reliable and very conscientious. She walks my dog regularly and he stays with Nora whenever we have to go out of town. He comes home calm and tried. A Happy Dog! I very much appreciate the care and attention she gives him. She goes the extra mile suggesting healthy alternatives for flea and tick treatments, checking him for foxtails after a walk, and, when necessary, washing him off after a particularly muddy romp. She’s a rare find.

Nora is so caring of all her «pack.» Before she brings them home, she always checks their body for foxtails, etc. Words cannot express how easy she makes our lives when it’s caring for our Hogan.

All dog owners — BEWARE of this woman, Nora. She talks a good talk at first. I used her services a couple of times, only to find out what a scammer she is! Something is completely wrong with her, she is an absolute psycho, and she could easily cause the death of your beloved dogs!
I had her babysit my 2 dogs (8 and 9 year old super-​friendly, easygoing collie-​labs) at her home for two days while I had to be at work and there was a crew of workmen re-​landscaping the dogs’ yard, so they could not stay at home. I left her specific instructions about walking, food, and not to go through the patio when she went to pick them up since the workers would be there, so I left the front door unlocked. She completely ignored every single instruction, forced her way past the men and forced open my patio door which I had secured with a stick and sliding door clip, causing the door to fall off the track. Did not take the food I had prepared and bagged for them (they’re very finicky eaters), instead tried to feed them something else which they turned down, yet she kept trying to force it on them, by her own account. My dogs do extremely well off leash, yet she said she could only walk them a short way on leashes, then could not control having two dogs on leashes, so took them home.
The second day she did not even attempt to walk them, but said she would let them play in her yard, and I said that was fine. I got out from work earlier than expected, and tried to call her to let her know I would pick them up early, but she did not answer. I drove up to her house, it was about 100 degrees out, and found my two dogs as well as another one trapped inside a swelteringly hot house, no fans on, no a/​c, no windows open. The dogs had bags under their eyes, they were panting profusely and the smaller dog’s eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her head — they were all suffering from heat distress! And where was Nora — out in the yard, sitting on a deck chair. I asked her why they were in the house when she had said they could play in the yard, and she said, she would not let dogs play or have any toys in the yard because that would lead to fighting. In that case, that would be the end of all dog parks, because that is the basis of dogs socializing at parks, if they are well-​trained and are with people who know how to handle them! In any case, she did not have any other dogs that day, so I knew she was b.s.-ing. My dogs are both submissive to other dogs and are completely unpossessive over their toys, food, etc, but she wouldn’t have known since she didn’t really spend any time with them!
I took my dogs and got the hell away, and promised myself to tell everyone I know to stay away from this scary woman.
Some time after that, she started e-​mailing me with all kinds of nonsense and lies and she could not keep all her stories straight. I had to threaten her with legal action before she quit harassing me with e-​mails and phone calls! She must be bipolar or use drugs or something!
From talking to other dog-​owners and decent dog-​walkers, I have heard that it is a farily common scam for unscrupulous dog-​walkers to drive around with several dogs in their cars, leave the heater on or windows closed with the dogs all inside until they are worn out before taking them home. The dog owner thinks they have done a wonderful job of tiring out their pups so they don’t need to walk them themselves, and have nothing but praise for the dog walker. Dog walkers in the Bay Area mostly charge $ 20 a dog for an hour’s outing. This scam allows them to not have to walk at all or maybe just go for one walk a day, and make oodles of money off of unsuspecting clients and their dogs! Please be careful!

I completely agree with Dave the last reviewer! Nora is amazing. Reliable, kind, and extremely loving with our dog Austin. She understands his breed and his unique personality and spent a lot of time evaluating him for compatibility with her different «packs». When she brings our dog home from his adventures, she always checks his paws for foxtails, which is very comforting. She works with our crazy schedule and is always prompt when returning calls. Best of all, she seems to genuinely care for our dog, which is why we trust her completely! 5 stars!

Nora is a gem and can’t believe there has not been other reviews of her business before. We found her through the recommendation of another dog walker who is highly regarded here at Unilocal.Her website was also hard to find via Google search.
Anyway, as dog guardians, we have experienced service providers who provide competent service. But that is all you get. Nora is different. She really goes beyond what is expected, and shows she has a deep love for what she does. Our eight month old puppy comes back happy and tired. Nora has a calming influence over him. We notice that when we walk him now. He no longer pulls but just follow us along. Also, after each walk, Nora makes sure there are no foreign objects stuck in his paws and fur.
