The waiting time until you see a doctor is at least 1,5 HOURS!!! This is so frustrating especially when patient is a kid! Don’t come here, you are better off with a different practice!

If I could give a negative review of this facility I would. I’ve had an injury from weight lifting that has plagued me for nearly 2 ½ years. After looking at some nearby clinics, I decided to give OrthoVa a try. About a year and a half ago I started out with the Nurse practitioner Suzanne Casana. First off, she diagnosed my injury as being easily fixable through physical therapy in spite of me informing her that the injury had already started off bad and has caused major atrophy to my right side. I knew therapy wouldn’t work. It took me 3 total visits for her to finally provide me with an MRI. She diagnosed me wrong after the MRI as well – claiming I had a very mild bulging disc in my neck. So I asked for Dr. Patel and he immediately offered some clarity to the situation. He felt as though it was possible nerve damage, or a winged scapula, which made more sense. Dr. Patel sent me to a EMG specialist, of which showed a lot of nerve damage on my right side.
I have now attempted to see Patel twice a follow up; however, I experienced an hour delay during my initial appointment so I left and rescheduled. I am currently at my second appointment and he is again experiencing 45 min wait times.

This entire practice is just fantastic. I’ve never had such positive experiences with doctors and the medical field! I saw physical therapists out in their Tyson’s office and Dr Anthony Avery did my ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery. From scheduling appointments to prepping me for surgery everyone has been so wonderful and helpful. I never have had to wait long to see the doctor and once he’s with me he doesn’t leave until he’s answered all my questions and explained everything with the desire to really educate me about what is going on. I definitely recommend this practice and Dr Avery.
