I went in for a lunch buffet, and it was one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time. I love Indian food, and this place had pretty authentic Indian food. They did not skim on the ingredients in making the curry dishes, which are my favorite. I will definitely be coming back for more. My most favorite Indian restaurant so far!

Came back for dinner — the chicken korma, ordered extra spicy) was excellent. The flavor in the chat papdi appetizer did not blend all that well together. Very good Indian lunch buffet. The amount of selection and quality of the sauces was better than several other Indian lunch spots I’ve been with buffets in the ~$ 15 price range with tip. The stars here were the Aloo Mutter, — on he creamier end — and butter chicken — nice and tangy compared to some versions that taste more like milk + tomato sauce. There was a condensed milk and noodle dessert that was an excellent palate cleanser. The service was friendly and I had hot naan delivered quickly to my table. Definitely coming back next time I’m looking for a long lunch.

Best quality, and variety of any lunch buffet period. Assuming you enjoy great Indian food as much as I do. Plenty of vegetable dishes, lots of chicken varieties(counted 5 today) as well as delicious goat dish!

So far it has been our favorite Indian restaurant of the many we ha e tried, even after repeated visits. The vegetarian options are above offered at other places. Great bread, too.

This is my son’s favorite place. Since we moved in 2012, we go here every six months. This place is over 30 miles away from us but we go specially for my son who is crazy about Paneer Makhni. Good food, good service, good portions and right price. We will continue to go give they continue to be one of our favotite north indian food.

This review is for the take away service. The staff was not very friendly and I had to wait a long time to get my order placed. The food was tasted heavy and oily. Definitely not worth the money I paid. They said that it would take 40 – 50 mins to get my order. By that time many places had already closed so I had to wait. Overall experience was not good. I will not be coming back here again. Also, finding a place to park was a big challenge.

I’m actually in love with this restaurant. The décor is beautiful, you’d think your somewhere in India. The staff is very kind. Most importantly the food is DELICIOUS. I’ve been here multiple times, and leave always wanting more. The chicken and lamb curry is delicious. The food comes with a lot of sauce, and the jasmine rice is so tasty. The naans are so yummy, and the small donuts soaked in syrup is oh so good!!!

I was actually really impressed. I’m usually not outgoing when it comes to new restaurants but this place had excellent food. Try the lassi before your meal… Excellent! The lamb was really good too. Service was excellent except for the last ten minutes. I would have given 5 stars, but when we finished our food the restaurant became busy and the waiter disappeared. We had to ask someone else to show us the dessert menu and when he took forever we just asked for our check and left. I know it got busy, but that was a pretty lousy way to take care of us, especially right before we tip you… All in all we’ll be back.

Random date night with the wife so we grabbed a Groupon and headed that way. We ordered apps of samosa and reshmi kabob — both were served hot and absolutely delish! For entrees we got saah panner and tandoori gosht khazana with garlic naaan(yummers) and side of roti(OHMYGAWD!). We sopped it all up and washed it down with a bottle of Gnarly Head Zinfandel. Only suggestion– ask for a sample of the wine by the glass to make sure its not old. We and the bottle they had open was old but since they were offering 10% off the bottle price we said screw it and ordered the bottle. BOTTOMSUP and enjoy!!!

This place is awesome! At first I was hesitant, as it is located attached to an isolated office building/bank. But I am glad I went in. The décor is awesome. Tons of authentic dolls, shrines and other decorations. Really colorful spot. Indian music was fun too. It really felt like the real deal. I noticed that there were a lot of Indian families eating here as well. If this is the place that they go to for a taste of home, that says something as well. The menu had a ton of variety and a lot of dishes that I had never heard of. I enjoy Indian food, but I am not as educated with it as I wish I was. I am a vegetarian, and there were a ton of choices for me all across the menu. It is broken up very nicely by dish style. I ordered an assortment of appetizers, all were great. And then for my main dish I had was called«Navrattan Biryani– The Original Navrattan… Nine Jewels». It was described as: «Were the incomparable courtiers of the great Mughal Emperor Akbar, this dish named after them, is an eloquent tribute to the emperor nobles. Fresh vegetables and basmati rice casserole.» I mean I just love everything about that description. And the dish lived up to the hype. And I had plenty leftover as well. This place is out there for me to just drive to on a normal day, but it isn’t too far from my office. I could see myself randomly stopping in again should the mood strike. For folks in the area I whole-heartedly endorse them. Great experience overall.

Food was great! Never tried Indian cuisine before and I surely loved it! We ordered the Mango Prawn which became my favorite and Butter Chicken, mixed Tandoori and the Mango lassi. It was perfect, the service was good. We took a photo at the lobby for souvenir and the receptionist was kind to lend us the Indian hats.

This is by far the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted. I have been to many establishments since but they have all been below par compared to Jaipur. Usually they are open during holidays so my family and I would always come here. My mom always only eats Vietnamese food but when she comes here… She doesn’t mind eating something new. The food is amazing. My favorite is the butter chicken… I can eat that all day. And with the Naan bread… Oh my gosh… It’s SO bomb. I can tell you… If you are not a fan of Indian food because you believe they use too many spices, if you try that one dish… You will think otherwise of everything you’ve heard and misconceptions. Even the most basic things like their ice tea has such nice tea flavor. It’s really good, my dad is always complimenting their tea. Well if you are curious about what Indian food tastes like, I urge you to try a little bit of everything and let your taste buds explore. The atmosphere inside is dimly lit and is somewhat classy. They have a lot of authentic décor all over. It is somewhat fancy because it’s fine dining so if you go, be sure to not wear shorts and a tank top. The food is served in a buffet format so for the most part you will be serving yourself. It’s not bad though because the servers are very attentive and always refill your water and bread even before you ask. Best Indian restaurant ever! Will always come back and recommend to anyone :)

I love the lunch buffet. I love the selection of dishes, the taste, the service, and the price. Oh and I love the décor of the restaurant. And the free parking. And how full I am afterwards. So to sum up, I love the lunch buffet. Try it and maybe you will love it too!

5 stars because I’ve yet to have better Indian food in the DC area. It’s located under an office building, which is weird, but the ambiance, service, and food are all great. The menu selection is good — recommend the methi roti and the peas and paneer. Both are delicious. Service is very attentive — nothing to complain about really!

[+] — Search no further, this is the best Indian buffet in Washington DC. — Excellent selection of food, including shrimp(they overcook ‘em a bit). — Very affordable prices(12 – 13 $ for weekend buffet with 4 meat/fish items and shrimp). [-] Location, it is not metro accessible.

Great ambience but average food. The first thing you notice when you enter this restaurant is the beautiful and colorful ambience. It really gives you a feel that you have landed in Jaipur. The restaurant has a pink theme based on the pink city. The walls and all are painted in pink. The service here is very slow. I entered the restaurant at around 7:30PM. It was half full, not very crowded. Still it took over 20 minutes to serve us food. I observed that others who ordered appetizers were served quickly. Unfortunately, I did not order any appetizers. I ordered just the main course. I had a lot expectations from the food. Unfortunately it was just average. I tried«Bahare Subz Jaipur». It is mixed vegetables with a bland taste. The broccoli and cauliflower florets were huge. Malai Kofta was also very bland. The kofta was undercooked and was very dry. The Roti was uncooked. I could taste the raw flour.

This Indian restaurant is a gem! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly hostess and the place has charming décor. All the dishes were delicious, especially their tikka masala. The naan and basmati were fresh and their tandori chicken was soft and tender. We did have to wait a while for our to go order on a Sunday around lunchtime. It was about a 35 min wait which is a long time without a completely full restaurant. At least I know it’s fresh. Call ahead and order over the phone.

I’m a big fan of Bombay Tandoor so I’m going to compare everything to Bombay. First off, the butter chicken… not even close. It felt like a watered down version, flavor was lost in a sea of tasteless orange goop. The vegetarian appetizer platter was disappointing, you could tell most of the food had been sitting out and reheated. For the entrée, I had the lamb seekh kabob which was decent albeit a tad greasy. Overall, I’d say the food wasn’t great but the service, ambience/décor, and amazing service really makes this place worth a visit. Honestly, the menu is fairly big so it could have just been the things that I’d ordered so that’s why I’m still giving this Jaipur 4⁄5. I’d try it again sometime.
