A great family place with great food and ice cream. Friendly staff, close to park and I get great points with the grand children.

HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE!!! I have been here in the past and usually don’t have a problem but today’s experience makes me not want to come back. My boyfriend and I ordered two meals. They were busy and many tables were already waiting with no food so we figured we would have to wait a while. Twenty minutes later my boyfriend goes up to the counter where the rude employee asks him what number we were, he says 118 and she says i called you FIFTEEN minutes ago in a very rude tone. Therefore our food was completely cold. They never even attempted to give us our food. No call over the intercom or come out to find us. Yet, after that, they seemed to be doing those things for other customers. Clearly if it has been more than five minutes since you«called for the customer» in your tiny little whisper, you should figure out who the food belongs to instead of just letting it sitting there get cold and gross. HUGELETDOWN in food and customer service!!!

I’ve passed by this place a few times and have always been curious about a steak burger. I finally went on the 30th of January for a late dinner with my boyfriend and I must admit it was a pleasant surprise at how much I enjoyed my dinner. We ordered 2 combos of Freddy’s Original Double and while I’m usually used to a pretty thick burger patty the taste was just right; a delicious steak burger. I was new to shoestring fries but I couldn’t get enough of it especially with their special fry sauce and seasoning. What was also a pleasant surprise was the service that we received for a non-waiter sit down fast food place. The cashier Angelie was very friendly and happened to be from my country. She was fun to talk to as she took our order. I also noticed that the young lady who was maintaining the dining room was efficient and moved with a sense of urgency. Halfway through our meal, a gentleman with a cap whom I assumed was the manager, asked us how our meal was and I said it was amazing. When he found out that we hadn’t tried their custard before he got us samples. Although the chocolate machine was down the vanilla custard was quite a treat that I ended up buying a cone after our dinner. All in all, it was a great dining experience at a simple fast food place. I have new go to place when I’m craving for burgers.

The concrete frozen custards are bomb. Definitely a must if you visit Freddy’s if your in the area. FYI. This is fast food restaurant not your sit down waiter coming to your table to order. The staff are friendly and patient. Restaurant is pretty clean. Tables are wiped down and cleaned up after the customer leaves. My girlfriend and I were in the area and decided to grab a bite at Freddy’s because we bookmarked it for their frozen custard. We both got their double patty steak burgers. It was little bit salty for my liking, but it was still good. They have their specialty sauce, which is very similar to the In N Out Burger sauce. Probably the best part of the meal was probably their skinny fries and frozen custards. I would recommend this place to try once.

Love this place. I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years now and haven’t got tired of it. Their burgers are always on point and the tenderness of the patties always makes it even better! The fries are also really good, but just not my style because of how thin they are. And lastly to add you need to try their frozen custards after your meal! Try their signature turtle and you won’t regret it. The roasted little pecans in the ice cream just make it delicious.

For some reason I was thinking this was a sit down, waiter-service kind of place. But it’s more of a Burger King, order and seat yourself place. I came in with a couple of rowdy kids and my mom and placed a large dinner and custard order. The girl taking our order did not speak English, was new, and continued to mess the order up over and over again. In fact, it took about 10 minutes to order, she kept repeating it over and saying the wrong items. It was infuriating, especially as my kids are up and down in their booths and running around. The manager saw her struggling and didn’t take over. She charged me for 2 wrong items and the bill was around $ 70 for 2 kids meals, 2 adult meals, and 3 custards. Obscene. I kept telling her I wanted mini kid cups and she gave me 2 large cups for them. Just what they need. The burgers and hotdogs were good but the fries were too thin and annoying and you couldn’t really grab and eat them. You’ll probably get a screwed up order here, don’t bother coming inside. Go through the drive-thru, order a custard, and get the hell out of the there. This is basically a McDonalds.

Sorta like a mix between five guys and smashburger. It doesn’t completely overshadow either one, so this is sorta like another player in the burger game. What makes this place different is that the patties aren’t made from typical ground beef. This is like strips of beef, like a philly cheesesteak. The default burger is a double patty, but I got the single thinking it was like five guys. A double is easily doable, even for the health conscious. I don’t think you could get it cooked to a particular doneness since the strips of meat are so thin. The way they cook it is just fine. It was juicy, and the bun itself wasn’t huge so you could really get a good taste in each bite. They have shoestrings fries as well which were pretty good. The whole meal was like less than $ 7, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I think the frye sauce that they serve is really just mayo and ketchup. I didn’t try the frozen custard, or any other dessert this time around. The only advice I have for management is to clean your tables better. My table smelled like a dirty washcloth. You know that mildewy smell from using a bleached towel too many times…

Whoa! This was quite the surprise for me and I mean that in the best way possible. I bookmarked this joint awhile ago, but it wasn’t until yesterday that I finally got to try these amazing burgers. My friend was jonesing and saw this place online and offered to grab some takeout for a few of us at the office. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! If you are looking for a nice thick juicy burger, go away. This is a thin and flat patty that gets all the flame grilled flavor on the maximum amount of surface. I ordered a single patty California style — that just means lettuce tomato and onion — and it was the perfect size for me. They put a special sauce on it and I added a little ketchup. THIS is what I think a burger should taste like. AND, I got the dribble effect — when your burger and toppings dribble onto your napkin, and that just makes me sublimely happy. Let’s not forget the amazing skinny fries seasoned to perfection and served with fry sauce, which is likely ketchup and mayo mixed as the base(totally how I do it anyway, only pre-made just for me) with a little seasoning. Whatever was in it just tickled me pink. This is totally a new crave-worthy place for me. I seriously died and went to burger paradise yesterday.

Last night was my first time at Freddy’s, and I have been missing out! So of course, I had to order the burger/hot dog combo, which I nearly ate entirely. The steak burger is very good; if you are expecting a tall, thick stack of meat, you are not in the right place. Its thinly sliced beef but it is not lacking in quality. The hot dog was hugged by what looked and tasted like Texas toast, which was both a surprise and amazing. The shoestring fries are a departure from other burger joints, which was also a pleasant but unexpected turn of events for me as a foodie. The fry seasoning and«freddy’s» sauce make all of the food taste even better. But the custard is what really surprised me. I have a few go-to ice cream or fro-yo places, but this custard was so soft and velvety, and there are so many toppings, sundaes, and options(sundae or concrete, which is like a shake) that I will have to go back as many times as it takes to find a favorite. As if that is some kind of heavy burden! The ambiance is very drive-in, like the kind of place I would hang out way back in the day if I could. A nice gentleman behind the counter came over to see how our meal was, and walked me through all of the choices for the custard. He even brought me over a taste of the custard flavors so I could make a decision — without even being asked. Great service, great food, and an easy location right off the main road. I will absolutely come back when I am in the area for sure!

The food was good at a great price. We probably wouldn’t go out of our way to stop in, but would dine here again. It’s a loud atmosphere with kids running around everywhere. The wait was long, but we expected this from previous reviews. My husband said the pumpkin pie concrete was terrific!

Still stands at 5 stars! If you haven’t already tried it then give it a shot… Sometimes I seriously wonder about Unilocalers and their reviews… Fudge brownie sundae was awesome but kinda sweet? Big Duh… Window service is slower than McD’s? Well, they make burgers to order… Occasional screwing up of orders? That’s just what happens occasionally with ANY fast food place or any Chinese takeout or diner, and I personally have yet to experience it here… Love the burgers, love the thin cut fries and Freddy’s sauce so if you don’t like thin cut then simply don’t go here but don’t give them a bad review just because that isn’t your thing! That’s just bad form… This is good burger-ism in a good way. There isn’t a day that I’d rather plop down my green for these burgers than greasy dripping 5guys slop-o-fries and thousand toppings burgers lol…

Love the Original Double: two crisp-thin patties with cheese, yellow mustard, onions, and pickles on a butter toasted bun. All-American deliciousness! I’m usually a bacon cheeseburger kind of girl, but the Freddy’s burger is better without. The Original just doesn’t need any embellishment, and the bacon skews the burger to being too greasy. I’m not a shoestring fry fan, but these are perfect — light, crisp, but still retain a nice soft potato flavor. Perfect with the fry sauce or ketchup. The service is also great. There’s usually workers diligently clearing empty baskets and wiping tables. Haven’t tried the custard yet, as I usually stuff myself full of steak burger + fry goodness, but the mini sundaes look like the perfect dessert portion. They also offer special seasonal desserts, like the Pumpkin Pie concrete for fall. The only drawback to this location is that it’s right by a soccer field. After a soccer game, this Freddy’s get pretty gross with hoards of stinky, sweaty kids everywhere. I like to go early to avoid the after-game kiddie crowd.

I will always comment that the food is great. Cause it is. However I do find that the atmosphere is not as welcoming as it could be. We have been here several times and it’s always the same thing. We are normally the only African Americans in the dining room and we always get the ‘hey it’s a unicorn look’ and for the most part it’s disturbing. Because I feel like a spectacle and my hubby looses his mind and starts snapping at everyone. Which doesn’t make the matter better. I will say that we have always if good service i.e. from the cashier, workers etc. so that’s always a plus. This location is in Fairfax, which is close to Tysons Corner so maybe that’s why. But either way until they place one of these in my part of town, we will continue to drive the hour it takes us every other month to enjoy the awesome burgers, fries and shakes!

If you’ve ever been to a steak and shake this is a tastier version. My boyfriend and I decided to head out to cinema arts to watch a movie and wanted to test out their steak-burgers on our way there. We got a double bacon cheeseburger and a California double(California is with lettuce and tomato and fry sauce). I have to say I’m partial to mustard and pickles more than the fry sauce, so I recommend the double bacon cheeseburger. The fries are shoestring, which are my favorite kind, make sure to sprinkle them with the dried spices they have, or dip them in fry sauce. My boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian delight concrete, I’m lactose intolerant so I only had a few bites, but he was really happy. We miss the frozen custard we used to have near our place so this was a nice reminder that custard is awesome. He also liked all the toppings that were added and said the fruit tasted fresh. Honestly I love a good thick juice meat patty, but when you’re in the mood for salty slightly crispy goodness this is really the place to go. The only downsides are that the inside feels a little sterile, and as any fast food you sort of regret eating it. I won’t lie though, I’ve been craving this since we had it, and often think about making the drive back down.

This was our first trip and all we had was custard. My daughter has a double scoop cone(it was too much) and I had a regular sized concrete turtle(it was just right). The place was packed with lots of people having burgers and other delicious looking food. And, btw, the place was spotless. I’ll update this review when I go back for real food band I will be going back. __________ Ok, it’s a day later and I’m back. This time for food. I had the bacon double cheese burger. It, along with the shoestring fries was delicious. Very tasty and not the least bit greasy.

We will drive miles to this location. The restaurant shares the same parking lot as Outback. They open as early as 10:30am on some days. There is a convenient drive-thru for those on a busy schedule. We have eaten here many times and each time the service and the food gets better and better. I am a lover of the burger and fries meal. Their shoe string fries are always fresh and hot. If you are so inclined to go down the chili route, then try the chili fries, they are worth every cent and calorie. I always get the Double Combo, it’s 2 very fresh patties with the perfect amount of mustard, pickle and ketchup. The staff is always friendly and constantly recommending new dishes. Typing this really tugs at my burger-craving heart.

Finally I have stopped in after passing this place all the time! I never heard of Freddy’s before but all I needed to see was a «burger» in the sign and I’m all up in there like swimwear. We were actually going to smashburger and I had just remembered about Freddy’s which is right down the street. It was a busy Saturday night but the line was moving pretty fast. The menu looked greasy and unhealthy — perfect for a cheat meal… or day. or weekend, don’t judge me. The cashier was very nice and extremely patient with us because we were undecisive. I ended up with the unhealthiest thing probably, a double cheeseburger with bacon and chili cheese fries AND an oreo milkshake. Oops! My fiancé ordered the combo of a hot dog and a cheeseburger. Our orders came out pretty fast also. It was exactly how I imagined the burger — thin juicy patties, flavorful, greasy and delicious. The shoe string fries were equally fattening with the chili cheese on top. My favorite part was the oreo milkshake of course, it was thick and creamy with chunks of oreo. Everything was under $ 20 with another drink also which is very reasonable. Trust me you are more than full at the end of the meal. Freddy’s is totally worth the cheat meal/day/weekend. Great service, fast food at its finest and cheap! Its also a very family friendly environment, clean and upbeat atmosphere. Will be back soon, probably trying out another milkshake.
