Great store with competitive pricing. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They can get just about any product you could ever want and more (in a timely manner). Plus with an industry overran with dudes it’s nice to go into a hydro store and see a beautiful woman who knows how to seriously garden. Allison recommended several products (shoutout to crescendo flower hardener) that I have seen a lot of success with and IMHO would suggest to my fellow gardeners and friends.

Wow, great customer service is all I have to say. Was eating at mikunis next door, and saw this hydro store. I went in to check it out cause I needed some pm treatment, and this girl recommended this stuff called 86 that worked really well. Allison was as easy on the eyes as 86 was on my plants! Thanks

Lately this place has been all over the place, the don’t invest in staff. the store is a mess place is always changing. Strange new people every time that don’t know shit about growing. Especially growing something that I am making a large investment into. I have been going to this place since the owners worked there. THATs WHEN IT WAS GOOD… They are obviously super successful they now have few stores. I think main reason IS BECAUSE they are really lucky they don’t have any competition near by there prices are not great and all over the place depends on who you ask and your screwed there cause you never know who it will be… This place is good cause its there and that’s about all I can say… HIRE SOME STAFF THAT KNOWS SOMETHING and keep them… there store could do soooo much better…
I happen to be lucky enough to come a few times on the weekend and run into a Alison who has been more then helpful and because of her she landed the store a several thousand dollars worth of purchases from me… and believe me she is the only reason why…
Alison easy on the eyes and actually knows whats up and will make an effort to figure it out if she doesn’t. She will gives you her word and keeps it and knows how to keep a customer coming back… and comes correct on pricing. She is about the best thing the place has going right now. I do like the store but it really has some work to do… Invest in people…

WARNING, Read this before buying anything from this place…
Employees are inexperienced and lack even basic business skills. This place has been going down since the owner started staffing the place with cronies about two years ago.
I went to this location today in an attempted to exchange a product I purchased from this location less than a year ago. The product was considerably more expensive than others, but it was sold to me as“being the best”, and having a one year warranty (coincidently after contacting the manufacturer, they agree the product is fully warranted). After providing a cash receipt from well within the warranty period, I requested an exchange for a properly working product, I explained to the employee how the product was malfunctioning. He did a quick test and essentially called me a liar stating «It seems to work to me». I re– explained the problem was intermittent and pointed out that I was simply asking an exchange for a properly working one. He refused, stating «the warranty wouldn’t cover the malfunctioning product if it appeared to work fine». I tried over and over to explain how the product wasn’t working for me. I got nowhere with the employee. The employee lacked communication skills, and had rough time giving a reasonable explanation as to why he wouldn’t just make the exchange.
I have up at the shop and made multiple attempts to contact the business owner, Casey, whom I had personally have done business with for years. He refused to return my call.
To make an already long story shorter, Casey didn’t call me, he had an employee communicate that he Was Not going to stand behind his businesses product or honor the intact manufactures warranty.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau to find out this place has other complaints…
Btw manufacture is sending a new unit out immediately, they stated «can’t understand why a shop would treat a customer like that».
Way to go Constantly Growing, thumbs up on doing ethical business. Said with sarcasm.

I showed up at Constantly Growing today to purchase some supplies. Their hours said they opened at 10 a.m. so I showed up right before 10 because I had other things to do. 10:00 came and went and no one showed up. I waited 25 minutes after 10 a.m. and still NO ONE showed up. I finally had to leave because I had an appointment to make.
I called 20 minutes later (10:45) and someone picked up the phone. I asked to speak to a manager. He said «yep». I asked «are you the manager?» and he said «yep». I explained how I had shown up to the store at 10 a.m. and no one was there. His response was «sorry, man. I wish I had a good excuse for ya. It’s just been one of those days. I’ll be here till 6 though». I told him how this was a major inconvenience and a waste of my time and gas and asked if he would comp me with some store credit to make up for it. He said «sure».
I made it back to Constantly Growing a couple hours later to make a purchase. I explained who I was to the «manager» as he rang me up and he acknowledged it. I purchased my supplies and left. When I got home I looked at the receipt and saw that he didn’t comp me with any store credit and just charged me full price for everything.
I will not be returning to this store. They are clearly very unprofessional and I won’t be spending my money in a place that does business like this. There are plenty of alternate places to but these type supplies. I recommend you use one of them.

Great hydro supply store. They price match with a verification of a competitors receipt or web listing! There aren’t any prices listed which is frustrating, but with the helpful and knowledgeable staff, 3 locations, and large selection in comparison to other stores in this area. I would rather shop there than some of the more shady and «obviously a front» stores around.
If you are actually looking for information, supplies, and help these are the guys to go to.

I recommend you search and find another of the many grow shops in Sacramento. No prices listed because they say they price match but when you ask them to call and check the price at another store they tell you to go to that store purchase the product and bring them back a receipt and then they will price match, awesome. They basically charge double retail on some items, avoid this place if you enjoy having any of your own money.
