In the past week I’ve eaten here 4 times and it’s all for the TACOS! At only 99cents each they are filled with flavor and a classic street taco made to perfection. The servers and workers there are also super friendly and quick to service you. Love this place!

Ordered the chicken enchiladas and it was horrible. The chicken is not seasoned and cooked before being put into the food, ITSBOILED! In my food I had stringy, PINK shredded chicken with the fat still attached to the meat. The beans and rice was better than the enchiladas. Don’t come here.

This place was friendly and the food tasted good but I felt like I was being punished the whole next day for that burrito.

Stopped in last Friday night for a quick dinner… had the bean and cheese burrito and a California burrito with carne asada, potatoes, cheese and rice. The bean and cheese burrito was average, but the California burrito was amazing– I’d go back here for that burrito alone. The staff was friendly, and based on the quality of food, I’ll definitely be back.

We all have businesses we pass by on a daily basis and say«someday I plan on trying that place», but either out of laziness or because you prefer another place more, you never get around to stopping in. This was that place for me. Calibertos’s Mexican Food on the corner of San Juan Ave & Winding is surprisingly not too bad of an establishment. I was greeted when I walked in(probably because it wasnt busy at the time) and I ordered just a Carne Asada burrito. They pointed out to me the chips & salsa area which is right next to where you order. Theres plenty of seating albeit kinda close together so personal conversations will be almost impossible & they have a small flat screen TV playing shows for background noise. Now onto the food! As I waited for my burrito I did have some tortilla chips & salsa. Chips wernt that fresh but they were free, so not a big deal. The Carne Asada burrito was delicious. The meat had flavor & was a fairly good sized burrito overall. Not full of grease or loaded with pico de gallo. Well balanced & tasty! They offer all your mexican food mainstays(burritos, chimichangas, tortas, tacos, nachos, etc.) & shrimp as well. They have specials too! All reasonably priced($ 2 – 9). The menu said free coffee but I didnt really look. So come stop in and give them a try, or use the drive-thru. Either way im pretty sure you wont be disappointed!

I wanted to like this place. It’s close to my house… The guys that work there are nice… The menu looks great… But a few hours after eating the food, I was in gastrointestinal hell. I had to drink a half bottle of pepto bismal the next day… And I eat Mexican food almost every day…
