The sushi is some of the best I have ever eaten, the kitchen food is good, service is good and the surroundings are very nice. Next time I will try the Chinese cuisine. The Chinese food is ok nothing special and the staff needs to slow down as soon as your plate is low on food they remove it

I will say they have the most authentic dumpligs I have had in this area. Very good. I’ve had the hibachi, and it’s too sweet for me. It’s almost more like the teryiaki instead of hibachi. Shumai is fine. The Udon is good but I wish it were a little more authentic with mushrooms and seaweed. Can’t speak for the sushi. I haven’t tried it yet.

Great sushi! The best for dine-in or delivery! They have a beautiful interior, with fancy a glass backslpash behind the sushi bar. Stone wall design contributed to the overall pleasant appearance. Minus one-half of a star b/c Of the weak green tea that was served. Otherwise food was fresh, and tasted delicious. Great for groups too.

I felt pretty bad when I arrived at the Sushi With a Policeman event that this restaurant invited the Fair Lawn community to — and had to leave hungry. Was driving all the way down to Trenton and had to go buy a snack next door at Zaidie’s Bakery before getting on the road. Green Dragon scheduled the event from 12 – 2 but had no intention of serving sushi until 1pm(I asked). There were plenty of residents sitting at tables chatting with policemen — and quite a few looked pretty hungry too, toying with their chopsticks. The place looked good but the experience was disturbing. If you’re going to invite the community in to get to know your place and your menu — well, feed them.

Very welcoming staff when you first arrive. The place itself is very clean and modern looking. Not to big inside but it gives you a very intimate atmosphere. I really appreciate the fact that the fish is super fresh and you can tell that they take pride in the quality. Definitely a great overall place and is in a perfect location. I would definitely recommend this place.

Impressive! They serve good lunches here. I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food. I prefer authenticity the way it’s cook at that original location or home country. I find most Chinese food is either too oily and too«MSG» but we know it’s nothing like this at their original place. Hubby and I stopped here for a quick lunch on the way to Poconos. We ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered spicy Kung Pao shrimp and hubby ordered shrimp in lobster sauce. I got hot and sour soup for a starter and hubby had his wonton soup. Wasn’t a fan of the soup because I know it has starch in it. I tried so I could explain about the taste. Try it while it’s hot, once it cools down, put it away. It was ok. My Kung Pao shrimp was very good! They gave me large shrimp. Hubby’s shrimp in lobster sauce was pretty good too. I tried everything and everything had the taste of «freshly made.» They keep the place really well and clean, even the bathroom. The servers are mixed Asian & Caucasian. Glad to make a stop here. The bill was reasonable. The place was pretty crowded when we walked-in with some large group in the middle and a few small groups around it. I would come back again if I have craving for Kung Pao shrimp. «I like my shrimp spicy!»

Enjoyed having miso soup not being overly salty, a tasty avocado salad with ginger dressing on the side, the sweet potato roll was delicious as well as the vegetable fried fried rice. My friend really like the spider roll and dragon roll just as much. Unfortunately, I got stuffed before I had the chance to order desserts. Maybe next time I’ll have desserts first! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the service is slow to begin and even slower to get the check to leave.

This place is exactly what fair lawn needed… Mei Sushi is too expensive and this place appreciates regulars. Their décor inside is clean and modern. Great Chinese food but I prefer their sushi. Shrimp tempura roll is great — they have an excellent lunch special deal.

My spring roll was good and chicken kung pao was OK — it had a good kick to it. It’s a good deal at about $ 6 for lunch. However, my husband really did not enjoy his pepper steak and fried rice, stating that everything tasted like shrimp.

Mediocre to generic at best. Calamari: Frozen rings could be purchased in any frozen isle. Sesame beef: small portion. Could pass as sweet and sour or any generic salty sweet sour beef dish. First and last order. Not happy

This review is solely based on the Chinese food and no sushi… Ordered pepper steak lunch combo with pork fried rice. Not one complaint, fried rice was AMAZING! And the pepper steak was tender and had a great taste. And order of wings which were by far the best wings I had from a Chinese place, crisp flavorful and nice size. Sweet and sour chicken was crispy and not doughy at all. Veg lo mein was good but needed a little more flavor. The egg rolls and spring rolls were tasty and crisp. Overall this place is legit and will be ordering from here from now on. The only reason it’s 4 star and not 5 was the price was a little on the high side for the quantity which you get. By no means is it expensive just could use a little more when paying premium on Chinese.

Excellent Asian cuisine in a great location. The sushi here is excellent. Very fresh, very well made and very tasty. Service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I just moved to the area and needed a go-to sushi place, and this is it. Not to mention, some of their other dishes from the kitchen are also great. I’ve had the beef and broccoli, that was excellent. I’ve also had their sesame chicken, which was good, if not a bit over-seasoned/over-sauced. I’d recommend for anyone to come here for great quality, great tasting Asian food.

The service was excellent during our dinner. We had four different servers helping. We never waited long for anything. The service was five stars. The restaurant décor has a modern look to it. The place is kept very clean. The appetizer we had was tasty: veggie steamed gyoza. I had the chicken teriyaki entrée. The dish had too much teriyaki sauce and not enough vegetables. I would give it a three. The other entrée we had was better: the shrimp and beef hibachi with mixed vegetables. The prices are very reasonable and worth the money.

When I saw the lunch special price of 10.50 for three rolls and a soup or salad, I was not expecting the greatest quality sushi in the world, turns out I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was excellent. I had a spicy salmon, eel avocado, and my staple the Philadelphia roll(aka the Jewish roll or bagels and lox roll). The spicy salmon was great, needed a little more heat, but the crunchy panko crumbs were a nice texture addition. The eel avocado was loaded with tons of eel, which is no normally what I find. The same goes for the Philadelphia, usually there is more cream cheese than salmon in the roll, it was the opposite here. I will be back to try some of their interesting special rolls, and I will definitely will be back for the cheap and Delicious lunch special.

An incredible lunch menu. I got the 3 roll lunch special for $ 10.50 which also comes with a soup or salad. I’m very particular about my sushi. A connoisseur, if you may. Normally I stick to sushi and sashimi combo to experience the full flavor of the fish without having the flavor masked by the Americanized version with tons of unnecessary sauce. However, I felt called to order the rolls this time. Very fast service. Nice ladies. This is the accessories that this restaurant comes with, but let’s be honest, it won’t make the quality of the fish magically better. Which bring me to my final point-the quality. I know fresh fish, and this was some of the best fish I’ve had. I remarked at the table that it was in the top two best lunch special I’ve ever had. And it was the cheapest by far. So, why 4 stars? That’s an 80%. Well, if I could give it a 4.5 I would. In my opinion, 5 stars are received by being over the top, doing extra credit, and dominating on all levels. The choice of rolls that were included on the lunch special took down a fraction of a star for me. But nonetheless, this will be a weekly lunch break for me from now on. Thanks Green Dragon!

The sushi chef Ken creates an excellent selection of sashimi and sushi. Their japanese menu selection is better than the Ridgewood restaurants I’ve visited. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good vibe, great casual place to bring friends and family. They have good green tea … nice now that it’s getting chilly. They’re also byob, so bring some sake to go with your meal.

I’m not exactly sure what everyone finds so spectacular about this place. They seem to be on par with all the other sushi places nearby. Service was a little slow for a Friday night but I almost think this is standard for these kinds of Asian restaurants. Ordered dumplings and boneless spare ribs to start. I really liked the dumplings, they were sufficiently stuffed and the wrappers weren’t overly doughy. The spare ribs were good as well. Among 3 people we shared the Route 208, Super Rainbow and West NYC all with brown rice. The best was the Route 208 hands down. The Super Rainbow was very bland and the West NYC was just okay. No doubts about the freshness of the fish/seafood but the rolls were just unimpressive.

I love authentic Japanese sushi, sashimi or omakase. But my wallet says only for special occasions. This is where Green Dragon comes along; for those casual cravings for Japanese and when dining with non-sushi eaters. My mom has a list of cooked rolls to choose from and a variety of hot foods. Service has been on point every time. They have a collection of glassware for BYOB be it for red, white, sparking or beer. First few visits, we asked for an ice bucket to keep our sparkling chilled but they didn’t have one but on our next visit they did. So they are obviously listening to their customers which have us coming back. I have had the sashimi platter and chirashi. Both times were very fresh and plentiful. With each visit, it has been getting fuller and fuller so in the coming months I would say to make reservations for a Fri or Sat night.
