I shop here often. Great selection for imports, craft beer and kegs. Service is average. No real complaints as I know what I am looking for. It is odd that I have never once been asked if I need help looking for something. The guys stay behind the counter. Prices are decent. Why 3 stars? Every summer I make the mistake of walking in and the place is an absolute sauna. I purchased a fresh case of my favorite imported wheat beer and 30 minutes back home and the bottles were seriously warm to the touch. I realize the light is what really kills beer, so I am sure the beer is ok, but there is no denying the fact that the beer would remain fresh for longer if it was kept at a constant temperature and this is just not happening when these cases sit on a shelf in 90 degree temps for as long as this brutal summer remains.

This is without question the best beer store in my area. Amazing selection of craft, Belgian, domestic and international beers. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I live in Malvern and have been to all the the other distributors in the area. The others don’t even come close to the selection and service of EBC. I do also like to buy beer at Wegmans; they have a nice selection and it’s convenient but you have higher prices and a low quantity limit on purchases.

For a PA beverage store, their case selection is pretty damn impressive. Definitely the best around the West Chester area. Imports are a little lacking but the dometic microbrew selection is quite good. Store is well-lite, clean, and well organized. The staff is quite good too but it depends on when you go. On the weekends, there is almost always someone there who can help you with solid recommendations or finding something in stock. On the weeknights, it can be hit or miss. If you don’t feel like drying down to Total Wine and Spirits in Delaware off I-95, then this is definitely the place to go if you live in the Exton/West Chester/Paoli area for a case of beer or a keg.

I too cannot believe this place doesn’t have a history of reviews, and good ones at that. We were passing down lancaster ave about a year ago and discovered this spot. We stopped in to grab a few cases of beer for a party, and couldn’t believe the selection. While there, we were able to sample some local yards brewery samples, which was a nice bonus, and ended up taking the clerk up on some recommendations for a nice belgian beer(bells oberon). Since that visit we try to return as much as possible to find some new exciting craft brews. We have been back multiple times since, and plan to continue. The prices are fair.

Good selection of beer. They are extremely high priced. Paid $ 49 for a case of beer, my brother paid $ 32 for the same case about 20 miles away. I didn’t know the price until I got to the register. I won’t go back, because of the huge price difference in comparison to local stores

Can’t believe I’m the first to review this place. Anyway, Exton Beverage is, you guessed it, a beer distributor in Exton, PA. I found them through Google. I was trying to find a 1⁄6 barrel keg of a specific beer. I live in Philly and could not find it anywhere around town. I found their website and noticed that they had it listed on there as out of stock. Being that it was a bit early in the season for pumpkin beers, I contacted them via the form on their website and someone emailed me back shortly after, saying that they would have it in 2 – 3 weeks. I emailed them back asking them to reserve a keg for me, which they did. I picked it up a couple weeks later and it’s now sitting in my kegerator. I’ll definitely be going back here, even though it’s pretty far from Philly. The keg selection is incredible… take a look at their website.
