Chester County Library & District Center

I have to agree that this library is much better than many other libraries I have been to in the past.
CC library has a helpful staff and a very wide selection. They have reading lists for school and other great educational resources especially for high schoolers and college students. This library also has a large section entirely for children, with computers and a special reading area for stories.
CC library has so many great things to offer: they also have a great audio/​visual section full of popular CDs, many TV series, movies, and workout videos and documentaries. Their magazine section is very large. They have a graphic novel section and a small area for young adult books. The library is really developed and a great place to come and find a book to read.
One small problem is that oftentimes the library doesn’t carry some material. You might have to put some things on hold, but they do come in quickly.

I grew up with the Chester County Library and did not realize how spoiled I was until I started visiting some other libraries in the area. I was seriously shocked by how small some were, how few services they provided and how few books they had compared with the Chester County Library. I am a little flabbergasted that no one has written a review for this place yet. I am also a little flabbergasted that I am going to go public with such a great secret. This place is a true gem.
This place has an amazing book collection and is run very efficiently so that you can get a book on inter-​library loan, should they not have the book you need. They also rent out movies and music for very cheap, and some for free. In addition, their computer room boasts several computers (I think a little over a dozen with macs and PCs). Although they have now limited totally computing time to two hours a day (I am not 100% sure of the exact number), it is really amazing. They also have wi-​fi inside if you want to choose to bring your own computer.
One of the most fun things this library offers (in addition to authors, talks, children reading sessions, etc.) is their semiannual book sale. My personal favorite day of what is usually a 2 – 3 day even is the last day when they do a bag sale. You can pay $ 5 for as many books as you can stuff into a brown paper bag. It is an amazing deal! So, for what one normally pays for 2 – 3 used books, you can get about 20? 30? Depending on how good you are at stuffing a bag. Like I said, I am crazy for letting go of this little secret, so as for additional details like how early you should get to the bag book sale, I am keeping mum. Suffice it to say, don’t come 2 minutes before the door opens! Hahaha
