This is my new place to stop on the way to three rivers and the sequoias, for my must get early morning tri tip breakfast burrito. Exeter is a nice small town with friendly people and this place is no exception. The atmosphere is nice and the outdoor seating is really nice. The chef and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Just had their pork belly breakfast burrito and it was amazing! These guys know how to smoke meat! Give them a try, you will not regret it.

This place is amazing. I am very picky about my meat. This place is so good. Everything I have had so far has been so good. I love it all :)

Probably the best bbq between Fresno & Bakersfield. This one-man operation smokes the meat on premises using mountain oak. It’s good, really good! Try the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Brunswick stew, you’ll be happy & full.

My friends and I came here during the Exeter downtown open house to grab some dinner. When one friend asked the cashier«why are they called St. Luis Ribs?» The cashier replied«I have no clue» and left it at that. Not at all good customer service. Then literally everything on the menu was sold out besides the pulled pork and turkey breast, even though the place was completely empty. I’m sorry but as a new restaurant don’t you think they’d be ready for a big night like the open house, Considering its their opportunity to gain new customers? And lastly we were all very disappointed with the quality of the food. I won’t be back and do not recommend this place.

I moved to California a year ago from Georgia and haven’t had good BBQ since I left the south. That is, until I went to Ranch Hand. It was so goooood!!! I can’t quite figure out what the sauce is, it was different but in a good way. The pulled pork was phenomenal. The only thing missing is fried okra. Can’t wait to go back.

I just brought home 2 of their tri tip sandwiches and a pulled pork sandwich with a side of their stew, potato salad and cole slaw. I tried the pulled pork first and it was pretty good. But when I tried their tri tip, I let go of the pulled pork sandwich for an evening affair with beef. I was very pleasantly surprised at how infused the smoke was inside the meat, not to mention the color of the meat slices were deliciously pink in the middle and brown on the outside with just the right amount of fat. I tried their stew and it was perfect for a cold night. I didn’t care for the cole slaw or potato salad so much but would definitely go back for some more tri tip and a beer next time. The interior was clean and uncluttered with a touch of a barn feel. I’ll have to check out the back next time on a warmer day. The service was fast and friendly.

First off let me say that there are very few 5 star worthy restaurants in the town of Exeter, but this place deserves that rating and then some. The meat is so tender, juicy, and smoky. You can taste the quality and the time spent making sure every bite is amazing. I usually order the pulled pork sandwich, and let me tell you, it is one of those meals that you wake up at 2 am craving with the intensity of a ravenous beast. The bbq sauce is made in house, and is so tangy good, that I would definitely buy in bulk if they ever decide to bottle and sell it. The costumer service is another wonderful plus that just adds to the overall amazing experience of dining here. Here’s hoping that they stay in business for a very long time.

Great meat! It’s a small place with five tables inside and a few larger tables in the back yard. I split a Tri tip sandwich with potato salad and a St. Louis spare ribs plate with cole slaw and BBQ beans with my grandmother for lunch. Both meats were super tender and very tasty. The ribs literally fell off the bone and while the BBQ sauce was good as well I didn’t even need to put it on the meat. Healthy portions for cheap, and they have a $ 5 student special. The potato salad and cole slaw tastes very fresh. Well done!

Thought id try this new place out, had the pulled pork sandwich. Sandwich was good was on a buttery toasted roll. Had the potato salad. Lacked flavor, really wasn’t worth getting again. Next time I will try a different side. Staff was friendly, and they have beer.
