Definitely a bit dive-y ambience but the food was good. Waiter was friendly, and they offered great specials during lunch. Tom Yum Soup was delicious and flavorful, as the red curry dish an absolute delight!

Doesn’t look like a 4-star restaurant, but serves 4-star food. I had Thai iced tea and shrimp Pad See Ew and it was great! Good prices, too.

Just ok … Again in search of a really good Pad Thai and was unimpressed. While the portion was generous it lacked in true flavor. I ordered the«rolls combo» appetizer and they came out STONECOLD … As if they were just plated and taken out of a fridge. If they were hot they would have been delicious. I also noticed a MICROWAVE oven continuously beeping while we were eating … I.e. Leaving me to believe some items are not being prepared fresh. Service was good — both the gentleman and lady who helped us were very nice and polite. I’ll give it one more shot — but just one more.

Great meal and great prices. Would eat here again if I lived in the area! My only complaint is there were too many appetizing choices.

Lunch special menu is pretty basic(Options A through D) however the food was very tasty. The red curry had a good kick but enough flavor to make sure you soak up every bit of the sauce. The crab rangoon and the soup were fantastic. They lose a star for charging for soda refills. When you charge $ 2.50 for a can of soda, and you pay $ 4(probably less for them) for a 12 pack, you should not charge for the second can — especially at a place where food is predominantly spicy. Either charge $ 1/can or give free refills. All in all, I’ll be back(and order water next time).

Finding good Pad Thai can be difficult at times. This restaurant had a great Pad Thai dinner combo with Pork Dumplings and your choice of soup. The Dumpling Soup was lacking. It had small shrimp dumplings, which I expected pork, and it had a lot of shredded lettuce in it. This seemed like an attempt to cover up for the lack of other ingredients. The broth was flavored well at least. Overall, a good decently priced place for Thai food.

I tried the food here on two separate occasions last year. The food was okay at best but what really stuck out was that both my wife and I had upsets stomachs the second time we went. We vowed never to return.

My PadThai(the actual pad thai dish) was on the sweet side and did not have a balancing taste other than sweet. The portion was generous and reasonably priced. I also find the lady who took our to-go order to be very friendly. Too bad I never had a chance to try the other items on the menu. If you’re in the Exeter area and are craving for some Thai food, this place is worth a try. They offer a wide variety of Thai dishes — I’m sure not all the food are as mediocre as the dish I ordered. My pad thai(the dish) was not the best compared to the many(pad thai) I’ve had in the past from other restaurants, but regardless it was still ok.

Would rather go to bai cha in hampton. I ordered take out and the food was very plain. Also the prices are also higher. I asked for a shrimp papaya salad extra spicey came to 9 bucks which I thought was a little pricey. Considering my salad was plain, no peppers at all not even one, and it only came with two small pieces of shrimp. Don’t know if I’d go back.

Be careful when ordering here. The curry chicken didn’t come with sticky rice which was such a huge disappointment when I arrived home with my meal. Unexpected and really ruined my experience.

Disappointed. We commuted 20 minutes each way for take out here and they got our order wrong. Can’t believe that they missed our chicken wings and steamed pork dumplings. Spent $ 63 on our take out order so I’d say the experience not good for us. We we’re trying to expose our kids to Thai food before going to the restaurant to sit. The people that work here seem very nice, we’ll give this place one more try because of that. Generally, we’re not that picky as customers, just get our order right and would advise people to check their orders — we’ll do that for sure next time.

Thai Taste is our new«go to» restaurant. We live in Newburyport where there are two Thai restaurants, so that is saying a lot. First off, the building is not at all attractive. Don’t let that dissuade you. Inside, the menu is a good, traditional Thai menu. The portions are large, whether you come for lunch or dinner. The food is well-seasoned. We’ve been there 5 times in the last 3 months: the food is consistent in both taste and portion. The prices are not low, per se, but they are a good value, because the portions are large. Best of all? They are incredibly fast, even if you are getting something that takes longer to cook, like brown rice. Parking is easily available outside the restaurant. The only reason I don’t rate the restaurant 5 stars is because we like super-savory Thai food(i.e. 8 or 9 on a scale of 10). In terms of savory spicing, I’d give Thai Taste a 7 or 7.5 in terms of spicing. We’ll continue to go at least once a month.

Big portions and delicious. I come from a big city where Thai places abound, but the food here is one of the best I’ve had.

I went to Pad Thai on a Wednesday evening with a pretty sizeable(party of 6) group. We were seated right away, there were only two other groups there. The restaurant is quite small, but it happened to be dead, so I didn’t mind at all. They are so incredibly FAST. We ordered our drinks and food and they delivered right away. I was really impressed. I got the Lychee curry and it was delicious. The pad Thai was a little so-so, I wouldn’t name a restaurant after it, but still enjoyable. It wouldn’t say it was the most amazing Thai food, but it was fast and tasty and honestly that was exactly what we needed. Would definitely go back, I love mangoes and sticky rice and would love to try theirs and try the Tiger Tear salad.

Had our Thai food delivered. I ordered tofu pad Thai and somehow ended up getting shrimp and chicken pad Thai. My boyfriend ordered his meal with a side of rice and they forgot it. Overall, not impressed with the food.

Bland bland bland. I got Pad Thai. It was basically just boiled rice noodles and some shrimp and chicken. Oh and some crushed peanuts on top. It was white; there didn’t seem to be any sauce on it and there certainly weren’t any vegetables. I would have had a better(and much cheaper) meal if I had just gotten a bag of Ramen from the grocery store. What a waste. Oh, and the rice noodles weren’t even prepared well — there were stuck together like a big glob. That may have had something to do with the lack of sauce. I did take-out, so a bit of sticking is to be expected, but this was just a blob of overcooked noodles. I almost wondered if they *forgot* the sauce. And I am a girl who does not like too much sauce on a dish. Sorry, guys. I don’t know if there’s another Thai choice around here, but skip this one.

Love coming to Pad Thai. I always know I’m going to get high quality food in large quantities at a good price. Lobster fried rice and the larb Gai are longtime favorites. Highly recommended.

I used to really enjoy this place but it has gone so far downhill, especially lately. I felt the need to review after tonight’s meal– Pan-Seared Shrimp and Scallops(a family regular), and pad thai(first time ordering!) The pad thai was too acidic and didn’t taste comforting like it should– it was poor enough that we contemplated even bothering to save for leftovers. The shrimp and Scallops was cold, the sauce was flat, thin, and had almost no curry, leaving it cloyingly sweet. The veggies and seafood both seemed undercooked, but perhaps that was intentional to avoid overcooking when nuking in the microwave upon delivery receipt– since it was so cold and all. It’s really a shame, as it is we live in a very limited area with few options, none of which particularly palatable, and it seems like this place is tanking. If you’re in the area skip this place and head directly to the Thai place in Hampton– delicious!!!

Reliable Thai. I’ve come here a number of times over the years when I worked in Exeter. Great sweet sticky rice with mango! Pass
