A gentleman prepped my nails and was very sweet and kind, but the woman who did my acrylics was atrocious. Sullen and mean, she cursed at me under her breath when my polish smudged(which she wouldn’t take the time to correct). Outrageously bad. Honestly, I’m still stunned.

What happened to the old group of people? It seems like the ownership has changed hands and now it’s under new management. The service and quality has gone downhill and after going for countless years, I won’t be back. Two pedicure disasters in the last two months — the first, the woman cut my toenails without asking. She angles the corners so deep that it was incredibly painful and I’m now trying to prevent ingrown nails. The second, the guy couldn’t see well enough to cut my cuticles. He faked it and when I told him that my toes really needed it, he said ‘okay’ but didn’t change his approach. I wasn’t going to sit through a crappy pedicure, let alone pay for it, so I got out of the tub and walked out, never to return. I miss the old owners and staff.

Just left after a mani-pedi, with one messed up toe and finger. What happened to the old crew? 2 new girls in there today. 5 coats on my toes without letting them dry for a few minutes in between. I could have sat there for an hour and they still would have been wet. No tip for her. Will not be back.

Wouldn’t go here again, after requesting a soak off of acrylic nails and a full set the man started using metal tools to pry my acrylic nail from my natural which resulted in ripping my natural nail from the flesh, I hope he intends on sanitizing because it bled everywhere. After deciding it was a safe bet to stop with that procedure and just repair and fill the nails I had left he proceeded to file my nails to the point the file was slicing my skin open under the nail on my finger tip resulting in more blood. I just closed my eyes and bore through the pain. Not a pleasant experience.

For a small nail salon that’s not ritzy, this place is great. They do a better job than any of the other places around — I’ve used them for pedicures and shellac/gel manicures. They’d be perfect if they were a little more friendly(just smile!) and if the place was a little more updated/nice.

I give this place 3 stars because my feelings are mixed, but I keep going back. Here’s my input: CON: This place is dirty. It is in need of a major update from top to bottom, and it does not come across as clean or sanitary. PRO: I have seen them sanitize the pedicure tubs as soon as they are finished using them. CON: As this is the only nail salon in Exeter, there is often a wait. PRO: They are fast. CON: Not every technician is qualified/trained to do acrylics. PRO: I get a classic manicure of my own fingernails, not acrylics. CON: Not the friendliest staff, but this is pretty typical of nail salons. PRO: You will not get a more thorough and quality manicure anywhere else around here. And their prices are extremely competitive. All in all, I’m willing to overlook the CONs because I get the manicure I want every time, and for a great price.

I should have read the reviews posted before I went to this place. I asked for shellac manicure and instead I got a Gel manicure. I noticed the polish bottle read Gelish. So I didn’t say anything. When I goggled Gelish polish it has nothing to do with shellac! These are two different products. Same results, as in, both polishes last 2 weeks. Its not what I asked for. Needless to say I am not happy. I won’t be going back!!!

I went in on a whim to get a pedicure. I didn’t have an appointment. The tech did an ok job, but I had to ask her 3 times not to be so rough. It’s not the cleanest place either.

For some reason, most women in NH are weary of the words«Asian Nail Salon» when I ask them if there are any in the area. Why? I never understood. In NY, thats all there is — and they are the BEST! Clean, fast and quality work. But now, I understand why women up here have a foul taste in their mouths about Asian nail salons. I was in the market for a fill-in, one nail repair and a spa pedicure. I got a nice tax return so I figured Id treat myself. Ive passed by Classic Nails several times and remembered it when it was time to get my nails done. When I walked in, there were several employees lounging around. One on the sofa watching Family Feud and another was sitting in a pedicure chair hanging out reading. I asked for the services that I wanted — and then asked if they do «Spa Pedicures». I asked if I could have one and the man said yes, and pointed me to sit over at a pedicure chair. The girl who did my nails was rude and didnt smile or say hello — just pointed me to the nailpolish to «pick color». I did and sat quietly and read a magazine. Twenty minutes into the pedicure — we were almost done. I thought something was missing as I had asked for a Spa Pedicure. She started painting my nails and I asked her«was that a spa pedicure» — She answered no. I then turned my head to the man that said«yes» and told him«I asked you for a SPA pedicure — but oh well, we’re done now». The girl rolled her eyes at me. Then pointed me to sit at her nail booth. The entire time she was very rough with my fingers, filing so hard that it burned my nailbeds. I asked her if she was going to push back my cuticles and she said yes. Right before she started to paint the white for my french manicure, she told me it was an extra $ 5 for cuticle cutting. I said OK(I guess otherwise, they just leave them all straggly and gross — but hey, your nails look nice, right??) We were done. Basically 1.5hrs for all of that — not to mention $ 60!!! Here is what $ 60 got me: — regular pedicure(I still have dry rough skin on my heels, she scrubbed them for about 10 seconds each) — One Nail Repair — Acrylic Fill-In — French Manicure w/gel overlay — Cuticle trim Their credit card service does not allow for tips either, so they had to run my card twice — once for the service and another time for the tip(the girl was NOT happy about that either — she asked me if I had any cash on me and I said NO, she seemed quite annoyed) They totally overcharge for what Im used. For some reason pedicures are crazy expensive up here — as well as simple waxing(eyebrows/lip). FYINHWOMEN — YOUAREBEINGOVERCHARGEDFORYOURSALONSERVICES!!! I would never go back here and now I know why NH women cringe at the words«Asian nail salon» — The ones up here give them ALL a bad rap.
