Parking is getting difficult in this strip mall. Park where ever you can. I walk in, there’s no one there. 2 min. later, out of the curtain, I am greeted by «hello». The formalities are exchanged and we’re off. I see something that has been added to the menu a few months back that I would like to try. 6″ Pastrami on Italian Herb Bread $ 6.75 He asks if I would like it toated to warm it up. I say«yes». Very friendly customer service this time around. While I’m waiting for that, I look around noticing everything is clean and properly placed. All the chairs are tucked in. The tables and floor are clean. All the chips are properly stocked. Very nice. My sandwich comes back out where I proceed to tell the sandwich maker which veges i want. I decide to eat in. When I finally take a bite it is good. This is a soft, sort of tender, cut. I’m use to a more firmer cut, a slight chew and bursting with flavor. It is good but it’s just not hitting the wow factor for me. Good thing I got a drink to help move it down. The bread got too soft after microwaving it. I need to remember if I get anything toasted to not include the bun. Overall the experience was good but the way the sandwich was prepared did not meet my standard. However, I would go there again and order the same sandwich. The service was good and if I’m in a rush the sandwich could do.

One female employee was very friendly and helpful! She took her time in making the sandwich and put just the right amount of ingredients as if she were making it for herself. Why can’t all fast food workers be like that?!

I do not like to give bad reviews. If this were based on cleanliness, location or convenience, 5 stars. But if I’m basing this review on product and quality. They skimp on there meat portions. I’m actually considering reporting it to corporate. Any other subway is a good balance of bread, veggies, sauce AND meat. Sorry but here you just get bread, sauce and veggies. Perfect for a vegetarian.

How do you run out of food 3 hours before closing time. Looks like they were trying to leave early. They had most of veggies taken out. Lazy ass workers

This Subway is decent, clean, the staff seems friendly when I visit, but lately it seems Subway as a whole have been very skimpy with their condiments. There have been times, even at this location, where they would almost seem like they count every piece of olive or squirt of mayo! I always find myself asking, sometimes begging for more veggies. Also I believe other smaller sandwich shops are giving them a run for their money. I give this place 3 of 4 stars which for me is good all around, just the other stuff that I mention here that does not rate it four stars.

Oh man, this location is so bitter sweet. Some days the employees are amazing. And some days, like today they are the worst! The older lady that helped me was rude and has no customer service! When the pin pad didn’t work she blames me like I did something wrong. Cmon lady, learn to be nice to your customers!

No, no, no! I must be a glutton for punishment! We come here often, why? Because it’s usually empty(wonder why) and it’s close to our house. Unfortunately that’s the only reason, however, after today I’m done! The workers don’t listen! You tell them what you want, they blankly stare at you and 9⁄10 they will mess up your order. Three times I tell the lady to add bacon to my sandwich, she looks at me and slightly nods. I’m standing there watching my sandwich move on down the assembly line with no bacon! So I tell the next lady(the mayo, veggie lady) that I wanted bacon. She looks irritated like I messed up her flow or something. She whispers to the first lady asking if I wanted bacon and she has the nerve to say I didn’t tell her! Say what?! This has happened just about every time we have gone here. Today took the cake, out of roast beef, out of soup. No apology, nothing. Just blank, robotic stares. Will be going to the other subway down the street, it’s busier but less hassles.

«I’d like to order a footlong BLT on honey wheat bread please,» I say. «BLT? Ok… what would you like on it?» sandwich maker says. «How about BACON, LETTUCE, TOMATOES?» She looks puzzled. Really puzzled! At this point I’m beginning to wonder if that’s even on the menu. I checked and sure enough, it is. So again, puzzled as to why she is puzzled! PUZZLING! So I repeat my order and literally have to walk her though the ingredients to a BLT sandwich. «No…no other veggies. Just a BLT please,» I say as my frustration mounts and I’m contemplating crossing the line(in this case — the counter) to make my own sandwich. In the end, cue lights and music… TAH-DAH my footlong BLT is done, wrapped and paid for all in the whopping speed of a snails pace in a sprinting race. This kind of exchange is not unusual for this location. I go to this because it’s the closest one to my place and quite honestly, despite the language barrier or even perhaps culture barrier, it’s still a fairly good place to go. Mind you, I’m sure my frustration level would have exponentially exploded had here been a long line of customers. But each time I have been here the lines are non-existent. I have on occasion called in my order in directly so that I don’t have to wait that long. Usually if I have a huge order I will call my order in. I know I risk not having the sandwich done right(God forbid it’s a BLT on honey wheat) but I usually will order for non-picky eaters(they won’t mind that there’s peppers and olives in their BLT). Again, it’s just ok for me. Subway is Subway and for the most part, much of their food is foolproof and safe. Overlook the language/culture and you will do fine at this place. Parking is tight! So if you’re wheeling around in a Suburban or a long-bed truck be prepared to park a short distance from the store front.

Only giving this place 4 stars because the first few times I’ve been here hasn’t been busy. I like it here cause they give alotta veggies. Second time I was here toaster was out of order. I started coming here because the other subways I’ve been to they don’t give alotta veggies. I use to go to pearl city and Waipio because that’s where my friend worked. She use to hook me up big time by giving me free subs and 50% off as well as free cookies/drink. But since she quit I only go to the one near my house since it’s close by and I’ve been to the one in kunia and near the food land ewa and they were slow and gave little veggies! The only disappointment I had with this one was the lady forgot to give my side honey mustard. It’s okay it wasn’t a big deal. Honestly I think subway is way over priced for certain subs and when ordering for a meal. Expect to pay $ 10 + just for one meal.

I don’t know why I keep coming in and expecting my experience to be any different, but I give up after today. The staff move extremely slow for how long the line is backed up. Once it’s my turn there is no greet other than«what kind sandwich» nobody makes eye contact, their soup selections were not displayed which meant I had to wait in a painfully slow line just to find out they only have clam chowder. I wouldn’t have stayed if I would have known. I order a sandwich and try to be as friendly and pleasant as possible to see if they have any customer service skills at all. Nope, both employees talked like robots, get annoyed if you ask them to repeat their question(hard to hear when your head is down and you’re mumbling) and at the end, absolutely no «thank you». I made sure to say thank you and get no reply, totally ignored. Customer service and a smile go a long way. They have the nerve to set a tip jar out. yeah, right.
