I generally like Safeway and the people that work there. BUT the damn Deli is the WORST! I try to get a rotisserie chicken every other week or so and they seldom have them sitting out. I have had to hit the counter 3 times to ask when they will have new ones. One time they had none on the rack and none cooking, they have a policy that they will give you a free chicken if there are none available and when I asked about the policy they looked at me like my head had just fallen off. ITSYOURPOLICY! Today I reluctantly went to the deli for some orange chicken and chow mein and of course they were all out of the chicken. They told me they just started making some and it would be 20 minutes. WHY would you not see the giant tub of chicken was getting low about an hour ago and start making it then! Safeway. I want to like you so much. You are conveniently located, you have good prices, its clean and quick, THEDELINEEDSTOFIGUREITOUTQUICK!

I’ve almost always had a good experience here. The only time I didn’t like a bakery item. It’s a pretty good bet you’ll get what you want here. It’s a clean store with wide aisles, good employees, and reasonable prices.

Ahhh my favorite Safeway of all Safeways around here. Their deli is nice during the day and their alcohol isnt trapped in a glass case like the other Safeway on the other side of my house. I go here after work to do grocery shopping so not a lot of people are here. So I really can’t say anything negative.

This location is like many of the typical Safeway experiences, though I like this location better than the closest Safeway to my parent’s house. This store has a lot of parking and is usually really clean inside. Their is both a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice by the entrances. They also sell liquor, which makes it convenient when you don’t want to find a liquor store. The deli area is just average. I recently purchased some Chinese takeout here(only because I didn’t feel like going anywhere else at that moment). Safeway used to actually have a decent Chinese takeout in their deli in Mill Creek about 15 years ago, but since then it has gone down hill and this store is no different. The food was luke warm and just not flavorful. The fried rice barely had any of the vegetables in it and the sweet and sour was bland. I probably wouldn’t buy food from the deli again because I was really unimpressed. Overall this is a nice Safeway store and there are also a few u-scan lines as well.

This location of Safeway was clean, well organized, had a lot of registers open and a good sized parking lot. All important things in a grocery store. I came in to grab some dog treats for my friends’ dogs I was visiting last night. I found the pet aisle fast, and they had all organic dog treats, exactly what I wanted. I also got a gift card there that I would have bought at that store directly. They have a huge selection of gift cards for many retail stores, including online, in the front center of the store. I didn’t have to stand in line long. The cashier was friendly and made a joke when I talked too fast for her instead of getting annoyed. I’ll be back!

This is regarding one of the pharmacists — Mera, I believe her name is. Each and every time I go to her, she is extremely rude. She acts like I am imposing on her by picking up a prescription. The last time I was there(a couple of days ago), she slammed my prescription bag down on the counter and was upset with me because I was telling her what name it should be under(my new, married name, which I have been using for 4 months now) and apparently that particular prescription is still under my maiden name, so I have 2 accounts there. Something I did not know as nobody had ever brought that to my attention.(??) She continued to berate me about my address and contact info — which haven’t changed in the 2 years I’ve been going there. The other pharmacist who works there is a very friendly and caring man named Mark. These 2 people are like night and day. From now on I will just wait to pick up my prescription when I see he is working. And God forbid I have to deal with her for something time sensitive or, even worse, emotionally sensitive. She has terrible customer service/people skills. You have been warned.

This is regarding the deli. I have been to the deli 4 times. Once they closed early. I got there 10 minutes before they are supposed to close and the place was cleaned out and locked up, so they must have started closing at least 45 minutes early. They have a deal for a chicken, fried chicken or meatloaf and 2 sides for $ 10 So the next time they were open and I got fried chicken. It was mostly bones and batter, the meat that was on it was so dry my cat wouldn’t eat it. My daughter tried her best to eat several pieces but I had to cook her something else after because she was still starving after the probably 50 calories worth of actual chicken on the wings and drumsticks she had. The next time I got a rotisserie chicken, it was soggy and the skin had fallen off of most of it. But the meat was juicy. Ive had much better but it surely beat the fried bones they gave us before. Today I got a meatloaf. It was pretty clear that someone had burned the meatloaf all the way through and then coated it with sauce to hid that until purchased. I was so very very hungry and although I couldn’t hide my disappointment when I went to cut a piece and my knife got stuck in the crust that was the entire loaf, I choked back my tears and crunched away at it anyway for lack of other sustenance and the fact that I paid $ 10 for it. I may as well have dug the charred bits of old meat off the bottom of my grill and dipped them in BBQ sauce for all the flavor this provided. I moved from evergreen way and went to the Safeway there often for the $ 10 meals and $ 5 Fridays. The quality varied and it definitely was better sometimes than others, but the absolute worst thing I’ve ever had from that Safeway was a fillet mignon compared to the trash they serve here. And I do mean trash as in, this food belongs no place on this earth other than a landfill.

This Safeway location is VERY overpriced. In fact, it’s more expensive than Whole Foods and WF’s is very fun to shop at, so if I’m going to overpay, I’d go there any day over this branch of Safeway. Plus, the employees are rude.

I am writing a review on the Jamba Juice located in this Safeway. Okay, if you’re not in any hurry at all, this is the Jamba for you. They take their time & always seem to be understaffed. I live right down the street so this is the Jamba that is closest to me. There is always one person working both the register & making the drinks. With my Safeway card for every 7 drinks I buy I get one free. Pretty neat since I go here quite often for my Jamba fix. PLUS! They always get my order right [= WHITEGUMMI w/Whey. Yummy in my tummy! I recommend for sure! Do it, I dare you!

One of my favorite things about Safeway is that they normally have either a Starbucks or a Jamba Juice inside… this one has BOTH! On the right side you have JJ and the left you have Starbucks… choose wisely. The first department I always hit up is the produce. They have a decent sized organic selection to choose from– including Brussels Sprouts! GTFO! They also have a «nut bar» which is definitely something I had no idea I could spend so much time browsing through. Those candied pecans are legit.

Yet another Safeway that is great! I love the atmopshere in this store. The staff and checkers are super friendly. The selection is great and so are the prices. The bakery is HUGE with lots to pick from!

It’s fine, but always seems very busy so takes longer to get in and out of there. Pricer are a bit higher than the Albertson’s down the street, but it’s clean and well stocked.

It’s my go-to grocery chain. This locay is clean and well stocked, but let’s be serious, you’re not really Unilocaling Safeway for a review are you? I’m just working on gaining Elite Status and kicking Amy V’s review count…
