Well most days no one is at the front desk when you walk in, I’ve stood there for a before someone accidentally noticed me waiting. Bet crackheads robb this place often.
Some of the students are great and you can tell their work ethic. Others I’ve watched the entire time do nothing other than sit and talk and not do anything related to school.
Generally the floors and walls are pretty dirty. Lots of the little details could use some work. Teachers are good, but should probably help the students more, rather than just when they ask for help– Cause most 18yo kids won’t, and that’s when they’ll make a mistake. Next time ask for a girl that doesn’t do drama, you’ll feel better the whole time.

Went there today for color and cut. Maria was my stylist and she was awesome! Very nice and personable. We chatted the entire time I was there… Which is the only reason I’m giving them a 4 and not a 5. I got there at 10a and left at almost 6p… My hair is pretty dense but not super long. Just hadn’t expected to spend the whole day there. But I love the final product, and all the ladies who work there! We talked store, celebs and family :) it was a great experience all around. :)

Fun atmosphere, friendly and helpful students and staff. I went in to get my blonde hair touched up and a trim. The gal {student} had a small mishap but was easily fixed with the help of her instructor. No problem! Because of the mishap, I was awarded a discount. I will be going back there from now on. No more paying over $ 300 on my hair every 8 weeks, when you get the same service for less than half that!

Came in to get a pixie hair cut, in the past ive always gone to the same guy for years, thought I would give this a try. They exceeded my expectations above and beyond! Had a friendly chat throughout, will be coming back :)

This place is great!
If your a student there you will get the best education and just really enjoy being there period. When I went in everyone was having a good time and relaxed but still focusing on their skills and learning.
As a guest you are treated just as good at any other high end salon at less than half the cost! their equipment isnt super fancy but they make it work, they make sure you dont leave there unhappy and they really educate you on what their doing. Also their is always a teacher on the floor to help out a student if they need it!
