Used a Groupon for lash extensions, Andrea did fantastic work! All staff warm and friendly, no snobbery in this salon thankfully. I’ll be a regular customer. Two downers, not a big deal. My head got sore since the table is so hard, so next time I’ll ask for a towel to rest on. Plus parking is a challenge.

I have been looking to get eyelash extensions for some time but was looking for a reputable salon that was not too pricey. I found Mega Hair Elite’s groupon deal and decided to give it a shot. I made a 5pm appointment, got stuck in terrible traffic AND got lost. However, Andrea was so sweet and accommodating and managed to fit me in even with my being 45 minutes late. I felt so terrible but she was wonderful. The process took a little over an hour but was very relaxing and I LOVE my lashes! I have never received more compliments. I will definitely be recommending Andrea and be going back for a fill very soon.

After months of trying to grow my own hair back, I decided to book an appointment with Susan so I could cut, color (just black to cover up a few pesky grays), and style my natural locks. She knew the EXACT look I was going for! I ended up with an angled, chin length bob. The color gave my hair body and an incredible shine. A week later, I decided to have Susan blow-​dry and style my hair so I could show off my new cut at a friend’s wedding. She made me look AMAZING!!! I received so many compliments on my new haircut!!! Thank you Susan for always making me look and feel stunning!

I am not normally one to complain but I feel as though I need to warn people about this. I write this as I’m at another salon fixing the job I got done here.
I made an appointment and was told that the owner would be taking care of me. I went in asked for an ombré and said that if making my hair that light would compromise the integrity of my hair that I would be willing to choose something else. She told me not to worry that she could get it very light without damaging my hair. After sitting under the dryer for 40 mins she took me out, «toned» it, then washed it and said she was going to blow it out for me after she finished another clients blow out. As I sat there I noticed that the end of my hair were completely fried to the point where they were shriveling!!!
She said the ends would need to be trimmed a little so reluctantly I allowed her to. She then started trimming my hair without combing it out first! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a salon. Granted I should have spoken up about how upset I was, but I was choking back tears and didn’t want to cause a scene.
Unless you are over 50 years old please don’t go here. Her methods are stuck in the 60s and not meant for healthy hair. Save yourself the money. Save yourself the tears. Although she was an extremely nice woman I don’t think she is cut out for this business.

I got a spray tan from Marcy and loved it. This place is very homelike and welcoming, with a cute, comfy waiting room. Marcy was so friendly, gave me the proper instructions and it was clear she knew what she was doing. While waiting for the tan to develop the bronzer looks pretty dark, but don’t worry– after a few hours you can shower & it rinses off to reveal a natural looking golden tan. The tan lasted just about a week despite swimming in the ocean and pools during my vacation. I was so happy with the results that I bought a package for more tans. Looking forward to going back!

I was looking to get eyelash extensions done in Mass because the 3x I’ve done it before were in other states. I looked around for a LONG time but its pricey in Boston and surrounding areas. I found Andrea/​Mega Hair Elite via groupon, read the fabulous reviews and gave it a shot. Andrea was fabulous! I didn’t feel a thing so much that I started snoring because I was so relaxed. I definitely would recommend the services here and cannot wait to get a refill soon.
Definitely check this place out, there are bus connections from Sullivan Station and just a short drive from surrounding areas such as Medford, Revere and Malden.

This place is a straight hole in the wall in Everett that is home to the best colorist I’ve ever experienced. I normally go to upscale spots like Mizu, Emerge, Newbury Street and Back Bay but honestly I’ve never received a better final product than this salon. I’ve used Andrea and Stacy and both delivered an exceptional final color. You can tell by my profile picture I have a really nice rich, shiny dark brown color. I love how my hair still looks glossy and rich a month after the color, they are really best colorist I’ve ever experienced.

I’ve had lash extensions done before… salon on Newbury St, Boston and one in Chestnut Hill. This salon has the best technican I’ve ever had. Andrea is the best in the Boston area. She is so gentle and does an awesome job. I received so many compliments. I will not go anywhere else. Book her, you won’t regret it!

This place is outstanding. I normally dont write reviews unless i have an extreme experience (extremely good or extremely bad) and Mega Hair Elite earned this one big time. I went in for a groupon and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the place and the little touches such as refreshments and muffins left out for the customers, which could be eaten in the waiting room with the flat screen and fireplace or directly off the floor because the place is that damn clean. But the outstanding state of the salon is not what kept me going back, it is the staff. Andrea who did my lash extensions is the most caring, talented, and truly amazing beautician you could ever hope to meet. She bent over backwards and jumped through hoops to make sure I was happy with my lashes –which look like a gift from God thanks to her nimble hands. They looked so good that when i walked out to meet my mother in the car she was so impressed that she ran right in there and booked an appointment with Andrea for an hour later. Same amazing results! Not on, y is Andrea an all around wonderful person, but also the owner is also committed to customer service and is so genuine and kind that after my first visit they have made loyal customers of both me and my mother– I cannot say thank you enough to you all for being so professional and accommodating. When I first moved to Boston I was worried about finding a great Stylist that I could trust and go to repeatedly. Unfortunately, I put my hair in the hands of an awful haridresser in Waltham who completely chopped all of my hair off and butchered my look. I was motified and in tears. In my search to find someone to possibly put extensions in (because the cut was THAT awful), I found Mega Hair Elite, and thank heavens I did. Susan saved me from having to spend tons of money on extensions and completely remodeled my cut into something super flattering! I went from having something I couldn’t live with to something I adored. I would trust Susan with my hair any day and would travel the distance from where I live in Brighton, no question, to have her cut my hair!

Stacy is my hair stylist at Mega Hair Elite. She is wonderful! I have been going to her for years. I look forward to my appointments and the pampering she provides. Susan and the rest of the staff there are so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Mega Hair Elite, you won’t be disappointed!

I LOVE Susan. She’s one of the greatest people I’ve met. I stumbled on her at her old location just from google-​ing places that did extensions. I went in a few times before she put them in for me and they were so nice to me every time. I was going on vacation and even though she didn’t have any time before I was going, she made time for me so that i would have them for when i left. She fitted me in the day before i left and my extensions looked FABULOUS the whole time. I loved them and i Love Susan and Marcy.

I cannot say enough about Mega Hair Elite and the great Staff. I have had many of the services and have been extremely pleased. They aim to please!!! I was not blessed with the best head of hair but Susan somehow makes me look good. Thank You Susan for the patient loving person that you are… Rosemarie
