Pretty good place for ice cream, what I find most amusing is their tip cup–«no coins please». Doesn’t that translate into«don’t bother tipping»?

Not terribly impressed by the quality and pricing. The hand dipped ice cream is pretty run of the mill, and I am honestly afraid to try the soft serve, being that there are probobly 30 different fake flavors. I tired to order one of their orange cream«homemade slushes», which was right on their menu outside of the building, but the guy taking the order said«he had NEVER heard of it». Then I went to order the starberry homemade slush(advertisement for this right on the door!) And again was given some excuse as to why I could not order it. Ended up getting fed up and ordered a pina colanda slush, which is the same exact thing you can get from Richie’s right down the street!

We only had hard ice cream. This ice cream went down a real treat. What a little gem this place is. Friendly staff, a medium size was very generous and had a huge selection of flavors to choose from. A definite must for anyone looking for an ice-cream on a hot day.

If you’re looking for an amazing steak tip sub, you must come here! My boyfriend and I saw a sign advertising a steak tips and we were a little confused because we thought Brandano’s was just an ice cream place. We decided to go in and check it out anyway because we have been on the look for an amazing steak tip sub but hadn’t been able to find one. Boy am I glad we went in! This place is officially my go to place for subs! The meat is tender and tasteful! Also, they serve Richardson’s ice cream, can’t beat that. Ruben was extremely nice and welcoming!

Stingy stingy stingy! First of all they advertised 24 flavor of soft serve and boy was I excited to try it. On a hot summer night, my friends and I go there only for them to tell us the soft serve machine is broken. Very disappointed to say the least. We ended up getting slush and hard ice cream but the girl who scooped it was so stingy. Save yourself the disappointment and don’t go here.

I was craving a chocolate milkshake one afternoon so I thought I would go to Brandano’s because I had a pretty good experience there before. What I got for a milkshake tasted like poorly made chocolate milk in a cup. I was very disappointed. The employees were nice but took their sweet time making the«chocolate milk». I’ve experienced better.

Wow, did you see this manager’s response? I had to add two stars because of the sincere words and dedication to the business. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to revisit this place for a while. I still don’t understand the no bathroom thing. I hope they can change this soon. Most ice cream places were closed in the area so not having a lot of ice cream is understandable. 4-Stars for the dedication, good ice-cream, and great people!(minus one for the selection and bathroom situation) So my new philosophy, try this place for takeout.

I wasn’t going to review yet but one of the other reviews has never been updated and is horribly inaccurate. This family run business has been remodeled top to bottom, and although they aren’t really a sit down friendly«restaurant» they are a great take out spot and have a decent selection of ice cream and soft serve. If your going to be credible as a Unilocaler, as a rule…(Be fair) This business has not disappointed me yet, I normally review after I’ve tried at least 4 or 5 of their«mainstays» And I amend reviews after subsequent visits

The Tiaramasu was homemade and quite possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. Very rich and creamy. The pizza was equally as delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat. I don’t think I’ve ever had fresh basil on my pizza and I loved it. Owner very friendly too.

They serve Richardson’s ice cream and frozen yogurt-my favorite! Also 24 flavors of soft serve. I went tonight and there was only 1 girl working, and she was pretty slow. I saw a sign that said but 1 get 1 free soft serve cones on mon and tues but when I ordered a soft serve cone she did not offer me a free one. I didn’t want another one so it didn’t matter, but if I did I guess I’d have to mention the offer on the sign myself? They take credit cards which is also a plus.

We stopped by Brandanos a few days ago when we had half an hour to kill and we were pleasantly surprised at both the quality of the ice creams and sorbets and at how nice people that worked there were. And yes, we got to try some of the owner’s new recipes and they were great. Don’t know about you all, but we’d definitely go out of our way to come by again. Highly recommended if you are around the area.

Very Nostalgic place but a bit run down. Has some of the old timey feel one would expect of a small town ice cream shop but the location and general maintenance makes it feel a bit less than classic. $ 3 for a small which is around 6 – 8 oz of ice cream or so… they have classic scoop + soft serve as well as shaved ice. I can only speak to their«hard» ice cream which was very similar to TCBY ice cream. This is really more about the local thing — and on hot days this place seems to stay pretty busy! May come back again should the mood hit but not something I would go out of my way for.
