I recently moved to this neighborhood and this store came in handy because it’s very close. The staff was very helpful when I had trouble finding an item. Not to mention, I decided to go grab a few things before the Seahawks played Greenbay in the NFC championship game, but Albertson’s got me out very quickly.

Albertsons is a good store overall, comparable with Fred Meyer or Safeway. I worked at Albertsons for quite some time, when I was younger. They’ve gone through some ups and downs, thats for DARN sure, and they may be on the upswing again, from what I’ve heard. At any rate, I like the produce here, more especially the fruit. ESPECIALLY the tangelos and nectarines, esp. in season. If you get nuts here(the big bags during the holidays, etc.), hope you have a nutcracker, because Albertsons likes to sell nuts in their shells(aside from the canned nut/snack aisle, as Albertsons doesn’t really do the«bulk foods» thing). I also like Albertsons meat, and their meat sales. I am not sure how much they have introduced organic meats, grass-fed red meats, etc. into what they sell as of late, but I think they are probably doing much better than places like Walmart and Grocery Outlet(heaven forbid…). This store is a bit smaller, but I like the«vibe» here, always have. :)

Customer service here isn’t too bad. They are well stocked 90% of the time.

At this location: Every time I have bought any dairy items, they have spoiled within three days… well before the«best by» date. I shopped here at the end of May 2011 for some ice cream(they were having a sale) and found ice cream that had expired March/April 2011. I only foods I’ll buy from this store are nonperishable prepackaged goods or canned goods. If it ever snows, watch out! They do not shovel or plow the parking lot. If snow gets even a couple inches deep, it freezes and forms giant deep potholes that are no fun to drive in/on. As the snow melts don’t forget to wear boots; the puddles can get deep and large!
