Good food, service, ambience, price. Nothing extraordinary except that not many restaurants achieve this balance. Always good for casual conversation. We arrived at 9:30pm on a Saturday and the service was prompt. We like it the best of the three around town but all are good. No extra charge for each ½ pizza with different topping. Beers are respectable too. Enjoy a nice evening out with family and friends or even a casual business dinner. I’d like to give 4.5 stars, save 5 stars for the awesome experiences.

Great pizza! Loved the crust, variety, and sauce. Service was excellent. Was a bit crowded, looked as if we just got in before the rush as we only waited five minutes. Ten minutes after we were seated, the entry area was packed. Craft beer selection was great! You can sample them. I highly recommend turoni’s. My favorite pizza place in Evansville!

A group of 8 of us had lunch here on a Wednesday and it was crowded but we were seated quickly and our server was attentive and efficient. I had a stromboli, one girl had a Greek salad and the others ordered pizzas. Everything was excellent and all the orders were correct. Drink refills were readily available. The only downfall was the noise but business was good and we sat in the family room — perhaps the bar area would have been quieter. We enjoyed everything and will be back!

To satisfy your thin crust pizza needs while in Evansville, I have absolutely no problem with recommending Turoni’s. The pizza here is really really good! Had the«Iron Man» on my last visit which consisted of «garlic, spinach, mozzarella cheese, artichoke heats and mushrooms». Yum! This place is packed with locals, so on any given night expect to wait for a seat. But it’s well worth it! There is a separate bar area with tables(no kids allowed) where you can order food as well. So if you are sans kids, I highly recommend you dine in this area instead. In addition to the pizza, I’d be remiss if I did not mention that Turoni’s is also a brew pub. I’ve tried a few of the offerings and have been happy with each. I very much recommend giving the Thunderbolt Red Ale a try. When I go to Evansville — Turoni’s is definitely a must to visit. They don’t disappoint!

Really delicious. Fun atmosphere. Had cheese bread appetizer and a medium pizza. Cheese bread needed a little salt, but there’s a shaker, it was incredibly soft. Ordered bacon on my pizza and got their Italian sausage which was delicious, but not my order. The atmosphere is really fun though — it bears repeating.

Have loved Turonis since I was a tyke, but now for a different reason :) The pizza is great and there are plenty of different options. They also have fantastic subs and Strombolis(a ½ is plenty). But what I REALLY love is the beer, which Turonis brews themselves. My favorite is the honey blonde, but the red is pretty damn good. Plus, amazing prices for the quality. The Main Street location has the best atmosphere.

Probably best local spot in Evansville. Pizza is excellent. Great selection of craft brews, some of which are brewed in house. It is divided into two areas, bar and family area, so it has something for everyone.

Very good pizza! It’s as close to a five as I can give because it’s almost as good as my favorite pizza place in all the country(Beau Jo’s) in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

Pros: Authentic pizza, unique craft beers, cool atmosphere Cons: service can be slow when busy This is a pizza place that lives up to all the hype surrounding it. I’ve never had a pizza here that I didn’t enjoy. My favorite beer is the Thunderbolt Red Ale, a very malty beer. If you only get to go to one pizza place in Evansville, go here!

Pizza is good! I got the Turoni’s House special pizza in small size just for me. It is delicious. Flat and crispy crust. I recommend this place! The atmosphere is casual and they serve beer and wine and mixed cocktails. My coworker and I have been here a couple of times and last time she got a beer flight to try out a few different brews. They have a bar area and a separate family area. The best part is if you want order and take it home they got a drive thru!!! Love it!

Incredible pizza and cheese toast in a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of great food and beer options, all at reasonable pricing. Open tables are a bit too close to each other in some areas, otherwise I have no complaints!

Love this place! I’ve eaten here and the Gerst House every visit to Evansville. Love the atmosphere and the pizza is amazing. Ordered a meat laden pizza and came very close to getting the meat sweats! LOL They also have a good variety of beer as well.

I’ve come to Evansville 3 times now on work, and this is the only half-decent place in this entire depressing town where I feel like I am in a big city. The pizza is slightly expensive, but worth the price. Their beers are nice, depending on what they have on tap. I’d highly recommend it. In fact, I’d stay here if they’d let me.

I was looking for some variety of craft beer and I came across Turoni’s so I thought I’d check it out. We stopped in on a pretty busy night and opted to sit at the bar. The restaurant is divided into the family area and bar area so whatever your preference is you can choose. The bar room has bar seating and table seating which you have to wait to be seated at as in the restaurant side. Sitting at the bar was enjoyable, the bartender and other patrons were friendly and we enjoyed conversations with them. We ordered some poppers and one of the vast selection of pizzas and enjoyed both very much. The poppers were flavorful and not too spicy at all. The pizza was prepared on a super thin crust with fresh ingredients and was also excellent. For the beer I went for the double IPA and my wife had the traditional blond. Both were good and a nice change from the more commercial brews. I’ve had some better craft beer but these were good and enjoyable.

What a great place. Old building with classic thick wood, speakeasy style hiding booth areas and a brewery! Can’t get any better than this. We went to watch the UofL game there and ran into a wonderful crowd. Lots of great people and friendly staff. Plus great beer.

Great pizza. Been coming here for 25 years. The house special is excellent. Haven’t come across a pizza quite like it anywhere else. Service is good. I come back every time I return to Evansville!

Turoni’s might get a little bit of a biased review from me because it generates some nostalgia as it was always the place my family went if we ever made it out for a big night in Evansville. I’ve been out of the area for almost 10 years now, but it’s still on my list of places I try to get back to when I am in town. Of the different locations, I think that this is my favorite. There is a parking lot next to the building so that is made easy. If it does ever fill up, there is also some street parking out front, and we have always found that the bank across the street doesn’t seem to mind if people borrow a parking spot while getting dinner. The inside is a little on the darker side with a lot of big thick wooden tables and booths along with some brick and interesting wall decorations. It gives the feel of an older tavern type place, and is a nice atmosphere to go fill up in. It just has a lot of character that is hard to find at newer establishments. Aside from just checking out the interesting decorations, you can also see some of the brewing equipment from certain areas of the restaurant, which is always neat to check out. This is a pizza place and brewery, and there isn’t much of a better combination than eating pizza and drinking beer that are both made under the same roof that you are sitting under. The pizza is a thin crust variety, but crispy enough that you can pick up their party cut slices without them falling apart. They go heavy on the cheese, but they aren’t always the most generous with ingredients compared to some other pizza joints, although they do make up for that in quality. My favorite thing to get as a topping here is their fresh ground Italian sausage. It’s delicious. They also have some not so common offerings like fresh cauliflower, zucchini, and even artichoke hearts. The beer definitely has some winners in the lineup. I haven’t had anything bad here, but there are some safe offerings that won’t blow you away. The one that stands out to me as my clear favorite is their Blue Eyed Moose IPA. They also have a good red ale, a tasty stout, and the Rudolph’s Revenge Belgian was a delicious season that was available on my last visit. Maybe Indy prices have skewed my perception, but the prices here for a good craft microbrew were fantastic. A pint was only $ 3.75, and that wasn’t factoring in the specials that they run during the week. I went straight for their sampler option, which had 3 oz samples of all 5 of their regular lineup of beers, and they even brought out an extra sample of the seasonal that they had, all for the same $ 3.75 price. I wish I would have had my growlers with me to fill up a couple to take home. I’ve always had good friendly service here, and they stay open later than a lot of the other options around. If you are in Evansville and looking for a good friendly place to take a group for dinner, this will certainly satisfy your needs. If you are just looking for some beers, definitely check out their bar area and taste what their brew master has to offer.

If you have never eaten here, you must go. Outstanding pizza, great service, and AMAZING beer! Honey blonde to specific. Can’t go wrong with it

Excellent local spot to hang out, probably my favorite place in Evansville. Fun atmosphere, great food! Love the very unique thin crust pizzas. So many excellent options or build your own. Four vegetarian pizza combinations and all are very tasty. I chose the Ironman today which is one of my favorites. This is a brewpub so don’t leave without trying some of their own beers. I recommend the flight so you can try them all. Quick pick up through the drive through window.
