The service was extremely slow. Me and my boyfriend ordered a 9″ pizza and a buffalo chicken wrap and over 40 minutes later, we still had not seen our food. We ended up deciding to leave and go elsewhere after wasting our evening waiting that long.

Great location for a drink and dinner on the patio except the food is awful. Wait staff is friendly but hit and miss for competence. Had the hot ham and cheese sandwich — it was just terrible. Dry, edges were burnt, YUCK. Friend had a stromboli and it was tasteless he said. Expensive for the quality. I do not recommend.

Not recommended for large parties. My organization had a meeting there, most everyone ordered food, including myself. The food is tasty. The service is mediocre. Paying is atrocious. There is no rhyme or reason to paying. Last night, I paid my bill with cash, but the meeting organizers were told that I didn’t pay. I am humiliated that my money was lost and that I was accused of not paying. I guess you need to pay with debit or credit so your money doesn’t get lost. I am considering not going back to this restaurant ever again because of this mishap.

Pizza was okay. Tomato sauce really didn’t have any flavor. We were a party of 18 with reservations at 6:30. We were told it wouldn’t be ready until 7:00. We waited for 20min then found out the rest of our party had been sitting at the table in the party room since before 6:30. After we were half way through our food we were basically rushed to hurry up and leave because there was another party that had reservations. Don’t know if any of us will ever go back.

Horrible service, lunch order took almost an hour and then was wrong. Never going to this place again!

Never Again! My chicken was overcooked and very dry. The baked potato was still hard as a rock. My son had some Cajun dish that looked very unappealing to me. He didn’t seem to enjoy it at all. For $ 46 I would have expected to have been eating steak. This place is not worth it.

Terrible experience. Ate here with a group of 20 people in the private room. They misplaced our order, our pizza arrived finally arrived after everyone else finished. The meat topping was very sparse. $ 25 for a thin crust with green pepper, onion, and a few pieces of beef is ridiculous. No response from management when I complained. Didn’t taste good either, crust tasted too much like yeast, too much sauce.

We were here for a basketball tournament at North and told them we needed to be on the move. We were with a group of 25 people spread among 3 waiters. Of the 25 people only 10 got there order correct. Missed my order 3 times and after an hour we had to leave. Seriously, terrible service. Don’t waste your time. They seriously need to rethink being in business. They actually made us pay after waiting for over an hour and did not EVER bring the food. Drive 2 more miles and find a place that gives a dang about taking care of people. Sad place really.

Seriously great pizza and apps. Cold beer too. Just wish it was closer to our house:(. We drive 30 minutes so we don’t have to go to Archie and Clyde’s in Newburgh(formerly Rocabar). That’s for another review. A bad one. Back to Rocabar North… Great patio with live music. But we never see anyone there when we go. Always have the place to ourselves. We like it tho!

Pretty disappointed with our dinner experience last night. They were supposed to get a table ready for 11 on the patio for us. We had to push our own tables together after they said table was ready. They then said they were completely out of hi-chairs, so our 1 yr old had to be held by us for our entire meal instead of being able to sit down. We then waited over 15 min for a server, and a person at our table finally walked inside to find one. It then took another 7 min or so for a server to come out to us. Once we got a server, he was actually pretty decent. Apps took a little too long to arrive at the table too. Overall it was not the experience we expected, especially since it was 7pm, which is usually after the dinner rush. Hope they get better organized moving forward.

First off, great pizza! Came recommend from one of my contacts at the job I was on, the other said eh… I like to try to eat local when I’m traveling, and this place was good. The server wasn’t fantastic, but my beer and water were never empty, so that’s a plus! Food was good, hot and fresh. The only dislike, besides the so-so server, was the«family friendly» karaōke, lots of wild kids running all over the patio, not horrible, not fantastic… I’ll be back next year!

My family loves the variety of choices at Roca Bar. We had great service and everyone loved the food from pizza and wings to salads.

Private room makes this a great location for casual sport team get togethers — our group included 40 kids and adults and fit perfectly. We gave the players some pitchers of soda and pizza and they were set. Adults could order quality«bar food». Little ones could draw on the paper table covers and keep busy. Servers worked hard to keep everyone happy and kept separate tabs for each family. Would come back next time we are in town.

I actuall really like this place having been a couple times now while I’ve visited Eville, but my first actual dining experience was less than impressive. A friend and I went after the Run or Dye 5k to grab a bite and a drink but it was obvious almost immediately that they didn’t plan for that many diners… very understaffed. We sat on the patio for about 20 minutes before being approached by the server. We ordered some drinks, pizza and salad. My friend’s Margarita was horrible. Mostly watered down slush… no flavor and pretty sure no tequila. She asked for a better one and it came back exactly the same… never walked away from a full glass of booze before, but did this time! The pizza and salad were awesome. It was a baked potato pizza if you can imagine… The first bite was bizarre but we quickly warmed up to the idea and munched it all down! As for the service, it wasn’t that great due to understaffing. We waited forever for our checks and finally hunted our server down, only to get incorrect charges. My experience won’t keep me away but they do need to work on a few things. Also seems like a great place for game watching! Nice bar!

Roca Bar is a staple in Evansville. The original location on used car lane, on the less than desirable south side, has dished out some of the best pizzas for years. When they sold their recipes and rights to the Roca Bar name, new locations have opened up. This location on the far north side is a perfect spot for a restaurant and bar(minimal direct competition). My Dad, who frequents this place, raved about how great the service, and quality of food is here. My rebuttal, «I’ll be the Judge of that!» To Dad’s credit, he was indeed correct. We were immediately greeted, and a bucket of beers were soon at our table. The location itself is very clean, modern, and appropriately staffed. The food, just like the original location, is excellent. Great, thin crust pizza, with amazing sauce. Oh, the salads. Yes, the Italian salads are probably the best salads I’ve ever tasted. Healthy. Probabaly not, but they taste pretty damn good. Good food, reasonable prices, and awesome service. Polite service at that! Decent, above average beer, and liquor selection, make this place a winner. Oh, and if you come at the right time of year, you might catch some Evansville natives, Bob Griese and Don Mattingly throwing a few back in the bar. I’ll be back next time I’m in Evansville.

Pros: Awesome wings Nice décor Online ordering Homemade chips Cons: A bit expensive… expect to pay about $ 20 for a large pizza. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza isn’t bad, but I can get a very good pizza for almost half the price elsewhere.

This is a perfect example of where you can have a successful restaurant without actually making good food. I was excited when this place opened up because I could walk to it, however I haven’t been back since trying it twice. Their food does not display anything that would be worth going back to. I heard the pizza is different then the original roca bar. The good news is the map does not show the correct location on Unilocal

Pizza was fantastic and I can’t argue with $ 2 drafts, but it just lacks some of the spirit and soul of a hometown pizza. Feels more like Pizza Hut than it should. Too shiny and new for me. Just my opinion. We sat in the bar area. Plenty of room, plenty of TV’s to choose from. Service was quick and efficient. Only complaint was that she didn’t split the check as we had asked, but wasn’t a big deal.
