When I was a young boy around the age of 8. I picked up my first instrument… the trombone. I couldn’t just only allow myself to play just one, I played several after that. The clarinet, the piano, the flute, percussion, etc. H&H was always there for me to help me out with my childhood hobby. Sheet music was sincerely the best there and they had all kinds of self help books. When I got into high school, by this time I played tuba and they helped fixed all of the nonsense that happened to that instrument, mostly because I was a dumb teenager who let stupid things happen to it. They saved me from the most. I still to this day jam out to Pocahontas’s infamous«Colors of the Wind» on the keyboard, because that was one of my first pieces of sheet music I got there. They were always so happy and cheery every time I walked in to get something new and exciting. Oh man, I wish I was there now indulging in some new musical equipment. In the end. Thanks H&H. My childhood and teenage years would not have been the same without you.

For music method books and sheet music, H&H is probably the best in the area. Not always the most competitive prices, but they’re very accommodating and are always more than happy to order anything you can’t find in stock. The staff, though occasionally somewhat abrasive, are actually really friendly and helpful. Not the greatest place to go shopping for musical instruments, unless you’re in the market for a piano. Their instrument repairman, however, is unrivaled in this city. Support local small businesses!
