This is no longer a Drury hotel it is Comfort Inn. So glad I chose to be here. From the front desk great breakfast included hot breakfast sausage bacon eggs the whole 9 yards, plus what I was totally unaware of was that they also have complimentary dinner in the evening I don’t know if you have to stay for four nights or what have you but it was nothing special, simple but spaghetti and meatballs frankfurters and a very nice salad spaghetti included in the price!

Nice place. Freshly remodeled and updated. Hot free breakfast with many choices. Free finger food in evening and a Denys next door. They give discount with room key. Pool is well maintained and indoors.

Basically all my college friends have moved out of Evansville. I was looking for a hotel that was trustworthy and suitable for a group of girls to stay in while we traveled there for a show we were seeing. I remembered having family and friends staying at the Drury on the Eastside and them having free wine during a certain hour. I was able to get a 2 bedroom room for about $ 100 through the company’s website. Sure enough, they still did the free food and drinks from 5−7…now named QUICKSTART. After barely making it back to the hotel before 7, we were served by a nice bartender that had been working at the Drury for 20 years. He let us redeem all 3 drink tickets at once, all of us getting different sorts of cocktails. We had already eaten, so we did not partake in the food –it looked pretty simply… but as mentioned… its free! Hot dogs, coney sauce, mac and cheese is what I’m recalling. The front desk worker suggested a cab company — he arrived early and waited for us, and off we were to the show. This location is actually closer to downtown than the Eastside one. Walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors. But the value of having a decent place to sleep, being such a cheap cab ride to downtown, and free drinks makes this place legit. Only wish we could have tried the breakfast in the morning!

I have stayed at Druy Inns before and this one is not a traditional Druy Inn. It is a different hotel that was bought and a Druy Inn name was put on it. We got there after our day of travel and the first room we were given had hair in the bed and the sheets were stained. I went to the front desk and they gave us another room. This room the pillow case had a black stain on it the room smelled of smoke a little. The hallways were not kept and the elevator looked like it was a service elevator. Not vacuumed at all and small. We had breakfast that was not bad until my girlfriend found hair in her eggs. I was going to have them transfer us to the other Druy but the girl at the front desk felt bad and offered us the same rate at the other hotel for one night fee or both nights free if we stayed there. So we decided to stay since it was not charge but never again.

Clean with a great free breakfast. What really set this place apart was how incredibly friendly the staff was. Décor was really tacky but it always is at this type of place. For the price this place was awesome

Like all Drury Inns, the décor will make you feel like the 80’s threw up all over the place. I’ve never known these hotels to be modern looking. However, they make up for it with fantastically friendly service at all hours of the day, a free breakfast that has actual food(as opposed to a plate of cinnamon rolls) and free booze in the evenings. The WiFi always works, too. All of that makes this road warrior happy. If you get tired of the breakfast buffet, there’s an adjacent Denny’s to get your Grand Slam on.

Guess I’ve gotten spoiled. This looks like a Drury and smells like a Drury, but… no big TV? I thought there was a law that prohibited tube TV’s in hotels since 2010? In all seriousness, this is a nice hotel with all the free Drury stuff. Includes pool and workout area. Nice clean room with recliner and speedy wireless. But the Drury across town has 50″ screens… if you’re into that sort of thing.
