Substandard and negligent patient service that also lacks courtesy! It took three phone calls to confirm my medical appointment including one that was one day only prior to the appointment in which they told me to ask for Sol Drapkin M.D. only as he is the only one at the clinic who can take my insurance. However, they called only a few hours before my appointment to tell me that they are unable to accept my insurance and that I can come only if am self-paying. They did not care at all about the fact that I had to stop taking my allergy medication for many days before the appointment(as per their request) which made condition a lot worse and not go to work that day. Even worse, the Allergy Partners of Chicago representative I spoke to were Mrs. C. Roberts and Mrs. C. Casey and they claimed that they called me to cancel and left«messages» before, yet they failed to provided exact times of claimed calls or explain why they confirmed the appointment one day before if they had cancelled before! They were not apologetic at all, and C. Casey was using a take-or-leave-it tone trying to bully her way into claiming that they actually called me before and that I am lying. When I sent a complaint letter to the clinic, they supported the claims of their phone people and did not do anything. So, as a result, I don’t know about the medical staff their including allergist Sol Drapkin M.D. who I booked my appointment for but I will definitely not recommend him or Allergy Partners of Chicago to anyone based on their choice of untrained and rude staff which can indicate other negative aspects of their business.
